“We're almost there. Come on, pull yourself together.” After flying for about two hours, suddenly, Guang Mo spoke loudly and woke up w.a.n.g Feng, who was almost asleep.
w.a.n.g Feng wiped off the s...o...b..r that did not exist from the corner of his mouth, took a look at the thick clouds outside, and asked, “Where are we now?”
He spoke as if he regarded this challenge as if he were sightseeing, so everyone in the cabin could not help thinking that he was an idiot.
“Don't ask what you shouldn't ask. Someone gives him a uniform,” Guang Mo glanced at w.a.n.g Feng and said indifferently.
“Yes, sir,” a soldier replied and then brought w.a.n.g Feng a suit of camouflage clothes like the others.
“From now on, you are one of us. Give each of them an equipment bag,” Guang Mo ordered in a harsh tone.
“I am a soldier now?” w.a.n.g Feng was shocked to hear Guang Mo's words, but he quickly changed his clothes. w.a.n.g Feng had to say that it was his first time to wear camouflage clothes; he was so curious that he kept looking at himself like a country b.u.mpkin.
“From now on, each of you has a week to move in this forest under our feet, heading north. If you can't get out of this forest within a week, you will be sent back. Clear?” Suddenly, Guang Mo instructed them, which made w.a.n.g Feng feel a little confused.
“Yes, sir!”
Everyone in the cabin shouted loudly except for w.a.n.g Feng.
“Well, put on your equipment bag and get ready for the jump,” Guang Mo said. Then the door of the helicopter was directly opened while gusts of wind immediately blew into the cabin, which made w.a.n.g Feng change his facial expression.
How did this involve parachuting?
Although he had seen some people parachuting on TV, it was others that did the mission. He had never jumped before.
“What's all this, sir?” w.a.n.g Feng asked because he did not know what was going on at all.
“Don't talk nonsense, you jump first.” Hearing w.a.n.g Feng's words, Guang Mo sneered and then gave w.a.n.g Feng a hefty push to force him out of the helicopter.
Feeling the tremendous pressure brought on by weightlessness, w.a.n.g Feng thought that he was suffocating. He didn't expect that Guang Mo would directly push him from the cabin.
“Motherf**ker, I can't fly!” w.a.n.g Feng loudly cursed.
However, at this time, he saw the other people who had been in the cabin before jump out of the helicopter.
He was falling so fast that he couldn't open his eyes due to the strong wind while he thought about the plot on TV and fumbled around on his equipment bag.
As expected, he instantly touched a loop and then he vigorously pulled it.
His parachute was released above his head right away and his falling speed gradually slowed down.
Looking at the clouds around him, w.a.n.g Feng was no longer nervous but enjoyed the scenery.
He had to admit that he felt perfect while looking down at everything below from such a high position as if his mind had become wider like the earth.
The others, like w.a.n.g Feng, were now releasing their parachutes and landing in different parts of the forest under their feet.
About a minute later, w.a.n.g Feng finally landed in the forest below, but he was unlucky in that his parachute hung on a big branch and tied him to the tree.
Eventually, he whipped out a dagger from his equipment bag and cut the ropes on his body and fell to the ground.
Fortunately, w.a.n.g Feng had reached the late stage of External Strength so he survived. But even so, after he fell down from the tree more than 10 meters, his knees and hands were severely sc.r.a.ped up.
It was dark all around and unknown animals growled from time to time. After looking around with his X-ray vision, w.a.n.g Feng raised his eyebrows and then quickly disappeared from there.
That was because he saw a huge black bear about a hundred meters ahead of him.
“What the h.e.l.l is this place?” w.a.n.g Feng was puzzled, but since no one around now, he didn't know whom he could ask.
When he took out his cell phone, he found no signal at all, and the screen was broken due to falling from such a tall tree.
Putting the mobile phone aside casually, w.a.n.g Feng began to distinguish directions. Guang Mo instructed that they had to head north within a week.
They would be sent back if they ran over the time limit. w.a.n.g Feng didn't want to go back, so he quickly started to move.
He estimated that very few people had been to this forest because he could not see a road. With thick fog and moist air, many poisonous insects and large wild animals were nourished.
Along the way, w.a.n.g Feng almost got bitten by something poisonous. Due to his quick response, he escaped death by a hair's breadth.
About a day later, w.a.n.g Feng met a soldier, who also cautiously hastened on his way. Perhaps he had noticed w.a.n.g Feng, but he showed no interest in striking up a conversation. He just walked his own way and directly ignored w.a.n.g Feng.
w.a.n.g Feng didn't bother to talk with such a person. Anyway, he could still walk without any company, perhaps faster if he was all alone.
However, perhaps due to the b.l.o.o.d.y smell of w.a.n.g Feng's injuries, he soon met several animals that he hadn't seen before, one by one, huge and strong, with a pervading sense of menace.
“F*ck off.” Seeing several beasts growling at him, w.a.n.g Feng attacked rigorously.
Although these beasts looked scary, they were far weaker than him, so in half a minute, their throats were severely cut off by the daggers in his hands, and finally became the delicacy of excellent cuisine.
n.o.body could live without eating for a week, so these delicious wild beasts became his meals.
Moreover, w.a.n.g Feng also unexpectedly found many spiritual creatures on his way. Obviously, very few people had come to this place, so these things were rare nutritious treasures.
“Sir, do you think they can reach here on time?” While w.a.n.g Feng was on his journey, Guang Mo was standing with several people in a military tent about a few hundred kilometers away from him, where the helicopter that w.a.n.g Feng had taken had landed in the distance.
“These people are the elite of all military regions. If they can't reach it, they don't deserve the t.i.tle of elite. Although I gave them a week, I suppose they will come sooner,” Guang Mo answered blandly.
At the point, a soldier asked, “They could come, but will that b.a.s.t.a.r.d die along in there? He is not a soldier.”
w.a.n.g Feng was not the kind of person who had suffered so the soldier thought that it would be more painful to let him stay in such a primitive forest for a week than to kill him.
“You look down on him, and you look down on the Divine Doctor too.” When he heard his man's words, Guang Mo laughed and then said, “We can't compare with the Divine Doctor in foresight. Since the Divine Doctor trusts that kid, I don't agree with you that he will die in there.”
“Perhaps.” The soldier shook his head and thought of w.a.n.g Feng's casual att.i.tude.
“Let's wait and see.” Guang Mo didn't bother to argue, so he simply closed his eyes and pretended as if he was sleeping.
This time, the people he was going to train were all the elite of the elite. He couldn't believe that any of them would die in the forest.
At this time, a soldier ran up to Guang Mo and reported, “Sir, according to the news coming from the front, someone has appeared 10 kilometers away from us.”
“I see. Go ahead.” Guang Mo waved his hand, looked at the forest with eyes blazing like torches, and said to himself, “Who on earth is the first one?”
10 kilometers was not far for a pract.i.tioner, so about half an hour later, Guang Mo surprisingly saw the man slowly come out of the forest.
The man was covered in blood and carried a huge piece of meat on his shoulders, with all kinds of herbs hanging on his body as if he just escaped from a disaster.
To his surprise, this man was not one of the soldiers, but w.a.n.g Feng, who had never been expected to live by his man.
“F*ck, I've finally reached here.” w.a.n.g Feng cursed loudly in the face of Guang Mo and then unloaded the burden on his body.
The reason why he carried such a large piece of meat was that it was really delicious and tasted much better than pork or any other kind of meat.
The herbs on his body were what he had worked hard to collect from the forest, which would benefit his cultivation.
“Very well, you only spent a little more than three days.” Looking at w.a.n.g Feng, Guang Mo checked the time with satisfaction.
The first person who came out was not the elite of the military regions, but w.a.n.g Feng, who had never lived in the wild, which was beyond their expectation.
At this time, w.a.n.g Feng went over to Guang Mo and spoke some words that dumbfounded Guang Mo. “Come on, sir, help me roast this meat. I am hungry after so many days of walking.”
Did w.a.n.g Feng really think he was a street vendor who was good at roasting meat?
At this time, one of Guang Mo's men said in a very severe tone, “How dare you! Don't be rude to the officer.”
“You tell me how I was rude. Did I hit him?” Although w.a.n.g Feng was somewhat afraid of Guang Mo, he didn't fear this person who had no Internal Strength. If they fought, it would be him who would take advantage.
At this time, Guang Mo said, “Since you've been traveling for these days, go in and sleep if you are tired.”
“Forget it. If you don't help me, I'll roast it myself. I wish you won't s.n.a.t.c.h from with me later.” w.a.n.g Feng was not in the mood to talk nonsense with these people, so he rushed into the forest behind him and returned a few minutes later with a large pile of dry wood in his arms.
Under their startled gazes, w.a.n.g Feng directly set up a simple grill in front of them and started barbecuing as if there were no one else present.
On the other side, when Guang Mo's subordinates witnessed this scene, their mouths almost twisted in anger. A soldier who did not act like a soldier at all was just a smear on their team.
However, w.a.n.g Feng was really not a soldier, not to mention he even had no desire of being a soldier.
He got everything he wanted in Zhu Hai City with Sister Xue, who was beautiful as a fairy. Who would like to hang around with a group of men?
He would not have been there at all if his master hadn't ordered him.
Soon after, the strong flavor of meat spread out, causing the soldiers nearby to fix their eyes on w.a.n.g Feng.
They could not eat any fresh food here, only something like compressed biscuits. They hadn't eaten meat since long ago, so now when they saw the golden meat roasted by w.a.n.g Feng, their stomachs couldn't help grumbling.
