Su Ziyang returned to the car after he was done vomiting. He immediately coughed because of the smoke in the car. He rolled down the window and said to Ling Zhanyi, “The smoke is not good for the child…”

Ling Zhanyi took the last breath and pressed the cigarette end into the ashtray. He heard Su Ziyang asking, “Hey, what is this supposed to be? Is it so difficult to give a reply?”

“I don’t mean anything. I’ll take you to the hospital.” Ling Zhanyi started the car again and drove to Munic.i.p.al Hospital.
