"Do you want to sleep together today?"

Those words seemed to stop the time around them. Hasegawa's hand, which was stroking her forehead stopped, and Hina's face instantly flushed.

Then, after about ten seconds, Hina shot up from the bed.

"Sorry! I said something strange! Forget it!"

Her eyes went bloodshot and she lowered her head so abruptly it looked like her neck would snap.

"I mean… you looked so tired so I just felt bad and guilty…”

"Hina."

Hasegawa quickly cut her off as she continued to mumble excuses. He then flashed her a business smile. Hina's body stiffened.

"Now you can't complain if I make a move on you, do you understand?"

"…Yes."

In a feeble voice, Hina answered and nodded while her body quivered.

"If you don't want me to make a move, say it now. Otherwise, I plan to do a lot of things…"

"A lot of things?"

"That's right. A LOT of things."

Hasegawa emphasized the words repeated by Hina. His eyes narrowed but weren't smiling. It was a look of anger. Hasegawa was undoubtedly mad no matter how you look at him.

Hina's face paled as she tried to dismiss the fear coursing through her body. Seeing this, Hasegawa covered his face with one hand and let out a deep sigh.

"I don't want to take advantage of you in your vulnerable state so please don't say things like that."

Hina lightly brushed Hasegawa's cheek as if you to ask, "Are you okay?" but Hasegawa grabbed her hand and placed it back on the bed.

"Hey! If you don't cut it out, I'll really attack you! Is that okay? Stop provoking me with your thoughtless words! Don't touch me so casually! I'm begging you, please have some self-preservation!"

"But you've touched me so casually too!"

"Shut up!"

She was forced to lie back down on the bed. Hasegawa pulled up the covers up to her mouth.

His bangs, which were always neatly brushed, were now hanging down and it made him look younger. Even though the table lamp emitted an orange light, his face looked bluish under it.

(Come to think of it, the salespeople were extremely busy yesterday too…)

It wasn't December yet but work has been piling up as if it was the end of the year. It's hectic everywhere in the company and even Hina, who's only a sales support, is also busy, so it must be worse for salespeople like Hasegawa.

Seeing that her face went red, Hasegawa gently touched her cheeks to check her temperature.

"Your face went red. Do you have a fever?"

As he asked, Hasegawa ran his fingers from her cheeks to her ear. His fingertips touched the back of her ears.

A moan escaped from her lips and Hina covered her mouth immediately. Hasegawa pulled back his hand and tried to hide his face. From the gaps in his hands, his flushed cheeks can be clearly seen.

"Sorry"

"No, I'm sorry too."

She was so embarra.s.sed that she couldn't look at him, so she closed her eyes. Then, Hasegawa stood up and picked up his coat, as if preparing to go home.

"Um"

"Pardon me but I'll now be returning home as it is already time. I'll come back again tomorrow so have a good rest."

Hasegawa said as he carried his bag and started for the door without looking at her. Hina hurriedly grabbed the hem of his coat.

"Wait!"

Hasegawa stopped but didn't look back at Hina. He let out a heavy sigh.

"I know I promised but just let me go home now."

"Why?"

"Why? Because we're both adults. Think about it…"

Hasegawa said while scratching his head. Still holding onto his coat, Hina's face turned red.

"Oh, so you want to go home because you want to do a lot of things?"

"…Yes"

Hasegawa answered without turning his head to Hina. She reached through his coat until she touched his hand, then clasped it in hers.

"Even so, I want you to stay…"

"Do you understand what you're saying?!"

Turning his head, Hasegawa asked in an angry tone. But after seeing that Hina's face also blushed like his, he shook his head in exasperation.

The next moment, Hina was pushed back on the bed and her arms were restrained on top of her head. Hasegawa took his gla.s.ses off and placed it haphazardly on the side table. Then without warning, Hasegawa pressed his lips to hers.

He kissed as if to swallow her whole. He nibbled her upper and lower lips alternately before forcing his tongue inside. After tracing her front teeth, he played with her tongue and continued to devour her.

It was only after several minutes when her lips were released. A silvery thread hang between each other's lips, and Hasegawa had no choice but to cut it off.

Hasegawa looked distressed as he tried to catch his breath.

Hasegawa breathed out a sigh at her answer. Then, he caressed her cheeks. As his face reddened, Hasegawa furrowed his brows.

"You'll regret it, you know?"

"Because that thing happened today, don't you think we ought to rethink this?"

"Even so, I think I want to stay closer to you today…"

As she tried to convey her feelings, Hasegawa suddenly released her arms that had been restrained since a while ago. While straddling Hina, he took off his coat and dropped it on the floor. Afterwards, he started removing the b.u.t.tons of his s.h.i.+rt.

"Stupid, aren't you?"

"What stupid…"

"I won't be able to stop anymore even if you hate it."

He said it in his usual cold tone but Hina felt her cheeks burning.

"It's fine because I won't say I hate it…"

"I was planning to be gentle at first but…"

Those were his last words before he started licking, kissing and nibbling all over her body as if to devour her…
