These Holy Knights’ AI was quite high. They knew that it was to their disadvantage to attack from the lower ground and hence, chased the Atlanta civilians to the front to act as their s.h.i.+eld such that the players on the mountain could only roughly see where they were.

“Why don’t we kill these civilians first?” Berserk ThunderG.o.d said as his eyes lit up.

“What a great idea, Boss!”

The Atlanta civilians did not have impressive abilities but were clad in s.h.i.+ny rare items. Everyone was already greedy for those. Hearing Berserk ThunderG.o.d’s suggestion, all the players were excited.

Fearless gave them a cold smile, “Why don’t you try attacking them?”

Berserk ThunderG.o.d said nothing and took out his crossbow and shot at the Atlanta civilians in front.

Quickly, they received a system notification: Intentionally attacking NPC on your side. Quest completion rate -1%.

“F*ck!” Berserk ThunderG.o.d saw the notification and fearfully kept his crossbow.

d.a.m.n it, their completion rate was only 10% and by just attacking the NPC once, it dropped by 1%. If the NPC died, would they immediately fail the quest?

“All of you, don’t move! We can’t attack the NPCs,” Berserk ThunderG.o.d hurriedly yelled, then turned around to ask Fearless, “Boss Fearless, what should we do now?”

When in a battle, under usual circ.u.mstances, the one on higher ground had the advantage but now that the Holy Knights used this method, it was obviously arranged by the system. If they stubbornly attacked, they would accidentally injure the NPCs and would lose more than they gain. However, if they do not attack, the Holy Knights would be even tougher to deal with when they reached the top of the mountain.

Fearless smiled and said, “Very simple! Let’s surround them!”

“If it was so easy, why did I even come with you guys?” Ling Longmeng asked.

“I did not ask you guys to come along. It was that idiot, Fearless, who wanted you guys to come. Maybe it is for you guys to witness the completion process of an S-grade quest,” Ming Du said shamelessly.

“Huh, why did you become as shameless as him?” Everyone snickered.

The Magicians’ Academy was not considered large when compared to the huge Atlanta City. The dozen of them separated to look around and quickly, they found a very weak and pale-looking NPC in the library.

The [Probing] skill they threw over showed question marks all over the NPC. However, now that all the NPCs in Atlanta City had gone to defend against the G.o.d’s Punishment Army, there was definitely no other NPC other than Regis who was hiding there.

Seeing w.a.n.g Yu and the rest enter the library, Regis weakly shouted, “Who are you guys? How dare you barge in without my permission!”

Regis’ voice was very weak. It seemed like he did not have much time left to live but the animosity in his voice was very obvious.

Just as everyone was thinking of how to respond, w.a.n.g Yu suddenly mumbled something then yelled in surprise, “So it’s him!”

“You recognise him?” Everyone asked w.a.n.g Yu curiously, thinking how he had met all sorts of people before.

“Yes, he wanted to kill me. An extremely strong person!” w.a.n.g Yu said. This was none other than the weird NPC who tried to kill w.a.n.g Yu on the Tower of Elements.

w.a.n.g Yu only fought against Regis who was in puppet form for a while but after he was. .h.i.t by w.a.n.g Yu, he did not lose a single drop of blood and even pushed w.a.n.g Yu such that he flew away. This showed how insanely impressive he was. He was definitely at least Reynolds’ standard or even stronger.

“Hahaha, chased after a dying NPC and you still dare to mention it.” Ling Longmeng mocked him.

w.a.n.g Yu smiled but did not pay much attention.

The rest stopped speaking. Although Regis looked like he was about to die, they knew how strong w.a.n.g Yu was. He could even take two blows by the city gate guards and yet this old man before them chased after w.a.n.g Yu before. He definitely was a top skilled person.

Now that Regis seemed as though he had some deep-seated great hatred, no one dared to trigger him.

“Little Ming, take your letter and complete the quest.” Spring Halo pushed Ming Du.

“d.a.m.n it, let’s do it together then. If not, what are you guys here for?” Ming Du said with worry. Although he had the letter, no one could be sure that Regis might just ignore it. Based on the horrid track record of the system, it was highly likely possible. Ming Du was not stupid so he did not dare to go ahead.

“Let us admire your charisma as you complete this S-grade quest. Hurry.” Vainglory said excitedly.

“F*ck, you b*stards, I am not going.” Ming Du hid backwards, not daring to go forward.

Boson and Crotch Lord looked at each other. Each of them held on to one of Ming Du’s arm to lift him then threw him at Regis.

“Boson and Crotch Lord, I treat you guys as family, and you put me in danger?” Ming Du did not forget to take advantage of the situation.

“Say! Who are you?” Regis seemed like he did not have the stamina to waste time with Quan Zhen Sect and so thought whoever was thrown in front to be their leader, not caring how Ming Du was thrown forward.

“Ah?” Ming Du heard him and s.h.i.+vered, then jokingly said, “Master Regis, I look up to you a lot.”

“Enough rubbish, how did you come in?” Regis asked with a husky voice as he frowned.

“Through the door.” Ming Du said as he looked at the library’s door.

“Are you playing me?”

Regis seemed like he barely had any breath left. Hearing Ming Du’s replies made him so angry he used a finger to create a stroke of thunder.”

Ming Du hurriedly said, “Master Regis, I am here to help you!” Ming Du took out the letter as he spoke.

Regis glanced at Ming Du then doubtfully took the letter. He glanced through it then said, “This is my handwriting, but I never wrote this. How dare you lie to me?”

As he spoke, the stroke of thunder at Regis’ fingertip continued to gather.

“Urgh, Grand Master Regis, you really wrote this… We time travelled here.” Ming Du got anxious as he saw how Regis did not believe him and so even used time travel.

At that time, w.a.n.g Yu finally understood what was amiss. This letter was indeed written by Regis, but the current Regis had never seen it. It was futile for Ming Du to use this letter to exchange for the coordinates.

However, Regis’ actions were also surprising as Regis took back the stroke of lightning on his fingertip, then nodded and asked Ming Du, “What does time travel mean?
