Upon looking at the team flag of the team that just walked in, all the players that were still bragging immediately stopped talking and hurriedly sat down.

The strong middle-aged man walked towards w.a.n.g Yu. He proceeded to gaze at the Team Flag that was beside w.a.n.g Yu. He let out a loud roar of laughter and said, “Hahaha, Bull 13? This team flag is quite good!”

The middle-aged man’s voice was extremely clear and resounding as it fitted his overall imposing disposition.

w.a.n.g Yu glanced at the team flag that was beside the middle-aged man and returned the compliment. He said heartily, “Your bird is also not bad?”

“Bird?” The man lowered his head and realised that w.a.n.g Yu was referring to his own team flag. He broke out in laughter involuntarily and said, “This is actually a bird of prey!”

“Oh! So it is actually a big bird!” w.a.n.g Yu nodded his head.

The middle-aged man was caught by surprise at w.a.n.g Yu reply but he smiled and replied, “Haha, you are quite an interesting figure. I am the Team Raptor’s team leader, War Is Peace. Which team do you belong to?”

“F*ck! No wonder he looked so strong. He is actually War Is Peace,” the Quan Zhen Sect bunch said in amazement.

w.a.n.g Yu was already considered quite big and imposing to people. But comparing him to War Is Peace, there was still a considerable size disparity between them.

“I am…”

w.a.n.g Yu was just about to answer War Is Peace when Darknorth Fisher interjected, “h.e.l.lo Seventh Brother, I have not seen you in quite a while.”

War Is Peace had previously heard that Darknorth Fisher’s guild had already disbanded and the players had all went their separate ways. However, as he looked towards w.a.n.g Yu, he inquired yet again, “Is this team your new band of brothers?”

War Is Peace could read the situation quite well and he did not mention anything that could embarra.s.s Darknorth Fisher in front of others.

Darknorth Fisher replied, “Well, I am just hanging around with this team at the moment.”

“Huh?” War Is Peace was even more confused when he heard Darknorth Fisher’s answer.

War Is Peace had previously recognised Darknorth Fisher’s capabilities and even tried to rope in him into his team. However, Darknorth Fisher had time and again rejected his offer.

War Is Peace knew that Darknorth Fisher was a proud man with sky-high ambitions so he did not try to force the matter. However, all of a sudden after a long period without any news about Darknorth Fisher, he actually turned up in someone else’s team. What trick did the team leader of this team actually pull to get Darknorth Fisher to join the team?

“Did Pure Lands come to give you trouble again?” War Is Peace asked.

“Hehe.” Darknorth Fisher waved aside the question, “They don’t have the guts to do so.”

War Is Peace heard his answer and replied solemnly, “What is the name of your team?”

“A Murder Of Crows…” The whole Quan Zhen Sect team was clearly embarra.s.sed by the naming of the team. Even Darknorth Fisher who was previously filled with confidence was momentarily fl.u.s.tered.

War Is Peace was jolted out of his thoughts and said, “Oh, so you guys belong to the A Murder Of Crows!”

“En!” Darknorth Fisher nodded his head in acknowledgement and gestured towards w.a.n.g Yu to provide him with an introduction. “This is our team leader Iron Bull!”

“Iron Bull?” War Is Peace was a little startled. “You are the Iron Bull from Quan Zhen Sect?”

“That’s me!” w.a.n.g Yu replied.

“F*ck! The bunch of fools actually turned out to be members of the Quan Zhen Sect… The clearly live up to their reputations.”

“Lower your voice. Although those guys are a little crazy, they are not a bunch you want to mess around with… Don’t get yourself in trouble.”

Upon hearing w.a.n.g Yu’s confirmation of his ident.i.ty, the game lounge was instantly silenced.

Quan Zhen Sect, they had made a name of themselves in <>. The far-flung city dwellers might not have known, but the seventh district members were intimately acquainted with the exploits of this Sect.

This was particularly so for w.a.n.g Yu. His reputation preceded him and almost every player in Twilight City knew about his accomplishments. Although most players felt that his accomplishments were certainly exaggerated, there was definitely some substance to his reputation. He was indeed a person of true ability.

At this point as the crowd saw this bunch of arrogant (brain-dead) people, they realised the Quan Zhen Sect had a fully justified reputation.

War Is Peace went up to shake w.a.n.g Yu’s hand and praised, “I have long heard of your honoured name, Iron Bull. It is my pleasure to be able to meet you.”

“Thanks, thanks!” w.a.n.g Yu wiped away a bead of sweat; this old man is a little too pa.s.sionate.

After the exchange of pleasantries, War Is Peace brought his team and found a place to settle down. w.a.n.g Yu was busy admiring his work on his team flag.

Looking at the group from Quan Zhen Sect, War Is Peace let out a deep sigh, “To think we have encountered such a strong opponent in the first round.”

A young man from the Team Raptor spoke out and said, “Seventh Brother, look at this undisciplined bunch from A Murder Of Crows, their reputation is surely exaggerated.”

War Is Peace shook his head and replied, “Little Fly, you’re still too young and inexperienced. Don’t just look at the surface when you see things. Often it turns out that the more undisciplined and unruly disposition one gives out, the more scary one turns out to be.”

“Why is that so?” Little Fly was confused.

“This bunch pa.s.sed the qualifiers without even being serious. Once they start getting focused, they would be that much more scarier.” War Is Peace continued, “That said, their fearsome reputation is not just a façade, they definitely have sizable accomplishments to back it up.”

“Is that the case?” Little Fly was still a little cynical and could not comprehend how the Quan Zhen Sect was a.s.sociated with their reputation.

“F*ck, if we lose this time, that old man Husky will definitely not spare us from humiliation,” War Is Peace muttered as he took another glance at w.a.n.g Yu.

The remaining teams arrived at the game lounge and the compet.i.tion was about to start.

The qualifiers were divided into four groups, A B C D. The four teams with the highest strengths automatically qualified for the next round while the twenty-four other teams would fight it out. The winners of each group along with the four teams would enter the top eight round.

w.a.n.g Yu’s team were situated in the game lounge that belonged to Group A teams. Group A was also the first group to start competing.

There were already 24 teams raring to compete in Group A’s game lounge.

As the first set of matches was about to begin, everyone in the arena and in the game lounge received a system notification.

Upon receiving the system notification, the players in the game lounge immediately turned their attention to the two teams. They could not hide their delight and said, “Fortunately, the first game is between two powerhouses.”

The players outside the arena were also hyped for the match.
