An Xiaxia pressed her hand to her thumping heart and stole a glance at Sheng Yize, who was still singing.

His long fingers plucked the strings carelessly and his slightly messy fringe had fallen over his forehead. He had lowered his bright gaze and his long lashes made a beautiful shadow under his eyes.

His cajoling tone worked perfectly for a little glutton like An Xiaxia.

Eyes twinkling, An Xiaxia even asked innocently, “Really?”

Sheng Yize fought back a laugh, blinked, and put on a serious face. “I only take care of my girlfriend and that’s not you. Why do you bother to ask? Move, I’m going to grill a chicken wing now.”

An Xiaxia made way for him, looking desolate.
