Seeing that Xia Xiaoluo became silent, Ling Tianyi knew that she compromised. Ling Tianyi couldn’t help talking about the marriage even though he decided not to mention anything about the marriage and their relations.h.i.+p. However, he was lucky because the atmosphere was not so embarra.s.sing.

Ling Tianyi took Xia Xiaoluo’s hands, he missed her very much. But he couldn’t show his love as before even though Xia Xiaoluo was sitting beside him. In order to keep his words, Ling Tianyi had to leave at half past ten even though he was reluctant to leave her.

Xia Xiaoluo drew back the curtain, finding that Ling Tianyi’s car was downstairs. Like what Ling Tianyi said, he would never leave the school even though he couldn’t live with Xia Xiaoluo.

Looking at the car, Xia Xiaoluo knew that Ling Tianyi was in it. She loved Ling Tianyi. It was only because of their invalid marriage that made her heartbroken and recalled all terrible things. As a result, she decided to leave him temporarily to calm down. However, Ling Tianyi kept accompanying her like that, which moved her a lot. Because she thought that Ling Tianyi should have a good rest after his busy work. However, she didn’t know how to persuade him to go home to have a rest.

Staying in the car, Ling Tianyi hadn’t slept for the whole night. While Xia Xiaoluo kept watching his car, spending a sleepless night as well.

In the morning, Luo Xixi saw Ling Tianyi getting off his car with fatigue, he was stretching himself when she wanted to go back to her dormitory to fetch some books for cla.s.s. Luo Xixi couldn’t believe her eyes. Ling Tianyi, the charming prince, was so exhausted and gaunt. However, even though Ling Tianyi’s hair was in a mess, he was still handsome and charming.

“Sir Ling, how…” Ling Tianyi asked Luo Xixi to live outside, not letting her come back. So Luo Xixi thought that Ling Tianyi and Xia Xiaoluo would make love in her dormitory. However, the result was different.

“Oh, you are back!” Ling Tianyi said h.e.l.lo to Luo Xixi helplessly. And then he took out a stack of money from his wallet. “Here is the compensation for you! Please take good care of Xiaoluo!”

“Sir Ling, It’s not necessary! I’ll look after Xiaoluo anyway.” Luo Xixi didn’t take the money because she wasn’t short of money. Even though she was not so rich as Ling Tianyi or many other students in the Dwichen’s College, she was still no that poor.

“I promised to give you, so take it or I’ll be irritated!” Ling Tianyi frowned and said.

“OK!” Luo Xixi dared not to offend Ling Tianyi because her family told her about Ling Tianyi’s ident.i.ty. So she took the money hurriedly and said, “Thank you very much! I will go to look after Xiaoluo now.”

Luo Xixi was about to leave, but Ling Tianyi called her again, “Wait a minute!”

“Sir Ling, what can I do for you?” Luo Xixi asked respectfully.

“When you stay with Xiaoluo, just take good care of her and contact me at once if anything happens to her.” Ling Tianyi said. He took a business card out and wrote his private number on the overleaf of it. “Well, call me immediately if something happens to Xiaoluo!”

“Sir Ling, I will contact you if something really serious happens to Xiaoluo! But I won’t help you to monitor Xiaoluo! I won’t do that kind of thing to my friend! I’m sorry!” Luo Xixi took the business card and said. She knew what she could do for Ling Tianyi clearly.

“You are very kind. so I feel at ease that you are Xiaoluo’s roommate.” Ling Tianyi sighed. He wouldn’t feel relieved if Luo Xixi had agreed to monitor Xia Xiaoluo. “I just want you to look after Xiaoluo and contact me if something happens to her because she is too weak now. I don’t want you to monitor her, I will never monitor her because I love her!”

“OK! I can do it!” Luo Xixi nodded. “Sir Ling, Xiaoluo will know your love because you treat her well. I will help you to take her home as soon as possible. I enjoy living with Xiaoluo, but I hope that you two can live a happy life together. I know that many boys like Xiaoluo, but she only loves you. I wish she could be happy and you can live a happy life together.”

“Why did you say that?” Ling Tianyi asked.

“When Fang Ruichen quarrels with Xiaoluo, Xiaoluo will be angry, but she won’t be depressed; when Ouyang Senior takes care of her, she will be moved, but she won’t be delighted; I have met Chu Tong, but I don’t like him, not to mention Xiaoluo. As for you, I don’t know why you broke up, but I know Xiaoluo loves you because she is often absent-minded and depressed. That’s the behaviors for lovers.” Luo Xixi told Ling Tianyi her thoughts.

Ling Tianyi started thinking about Luo Xixi’s words. Luo Xixi added, “I’m willing to help you because Xiaoluo loves you. On the contrary, I will never betray Xiaoluo even though you are powerful enough to threaten my family and my family always ask me to help you.”

“Nice! Go to see whether Xiaoluo has got up! Take her here and I will invite you to have breakfast.” Ling Tianyi was moved and he had a good impression on Luo Xixi. Actually, he didn’t hate anybody who hoped that Xia Xiaoluo and he could be together.

Luo Xixi went back to her dormitory and noticed Xia Xiaoluo’s black eyes, “Oh my G.o.d! What happened? Did you stand there watching Ling Tianyi for the whole night?”

Xia Xiaoluo didn’t say anything and kept looking at Ling Tianyi who stood beside his car, checking his mobile phone. In Xia Xiaoluo’s opinion, Ling Tianyi was the most handsome man in the whole world.

“Xiaoluo, I can’t understand why you broke up. You are a couple! Why do you behave like this? Both of you are depressed and exhausted!” Luo Xixi said, she didn’t know what to do.

“Sir Ling is waiting for you to have breakfast! Dress yourself up now!” Luo Xixi asked Xia Xiaoluo to wash her face and change her clothes.

Xia Xiaoluo and Luo Xixi went downstairs with their books.

“Sir Ling, Xiaoluo kept watching your car for the whole night. She did not sleep last night. Look at her black eyes!” Luo Xixi told Ling Tianyi what happened directly.

“Xixi, stop!” Xia Xiaoluo pulled Luo Xixi’s arms and winked at her.

“Why do you stop me? It is harmful to your health!” Luo Xixi said to Xia Xiaoluo, and then Luo Xixi said to Ling Tianyi, “Sir Ling, you have to stop Xiaoluo from hurting herself! It’s bad for her health!”

“It doesn’t matter. I will attend the cla.s.ses because they are important.” Xia Xiaoluo said, lowering her head because she wanted to hide her exhaustion.

“Let’s have breakfast first!” Ling Tianyi said, wanting to take Xia Xiaoluo and Luo Xixi to have breakfast in a good restaurant outside school.

Luo Xixi didn’t want to disturb them, so she refused directly, “Sir Ling, I will buy a sandwich in our canteen and then go to have the seats. By the way, the economy cla.s.ses we will attend are elective courses available to all the students majoring in Chinese, so would you like to go with us? I can save a seat for you!”

“Didn’t your mother cut off your cards? I have to talk about it with Mrs. Fang.” Ling Tianyi said coldly.

Later, Chu Tong also proposed to pay for Xia Xiaoluo and Luo Xixi. Being flattered, Luo Xixi just focused on eating, but she knew that those men only wanted to pay for Xia Xiaoluo, she was treated well due to Xia Xiaoluo.

At last, Ling Tianyi paid for the bill because he threatened the boss of the restaurant. The owner would be changed if Ling Tianyi couldn’t pay for the bill.

Xia Jingru also followed Fang Ruichen to the canteen shamefully, she came for the sake of Fang Ruichen, but Fang Ruichen only cared about Xia Xiaoluo.

“Xiaoluo, the new semester has begun, so there will be a lot of activities in our school. Our dance club will arrange performances. I know you are free this afternoon, so how about talking about the performances in our club?” Ouyang Ziqian invited.
