Inside the house atmosphere was good and everybody was happy since the return of their head Lu Ming.

He was the star that graced them with love and warmth.

Lu Qiqi was also happy to see the smiling face of her husband. It has been a long time that they had spent some quality time together with each other.

Looking around when everyone was happy and cheerful because of the presence of Lu Ming soothed her heart.

Lu Jian and Zhen Xiu arrived to see the hustle and bustle going around in the hall. Everyone was busy doing their thing and were helping each other. It was a new sight that greeted them and was completely different from the monotonous mornings.

Zhen Xiu saw a middle-aged man sitting in the center of the hall and he was accompanied by the old hag. So, she finally decided to come home again. Browsing through her memories she could see that this man was her legendary father-in-law that cared about the clone in this entire house.

But for some reason has stopped visiting her and was away from the house.

"Father is here!" Lu Jian was shocked to see his father back and thus confirmed Zhen Xiu's suspicion that this man was indeed Lu Ming, the previous heir of Lujia.

Lu Jian was even more surprised to see his mother standing behind his father. It was unbelievable she was not here these days and n.o.body knew where she was hiding but just before his father's arrival, she was once again back in the house.

"It's good that he is back." Zhen Xiu smiled in his direction and walked towards the center of the hall.

Lu Ming was silently sipping his tea when he saw his daughter-in-law coming towards him with a big smile. Moreover, Lu Jian was coming with her and that too with a smile grazing on his lips and the gentle expression on his face was clearly indicating his happiness for her.

It was a rare sight for him because as far as he knows his son had always frowned at his daughter-in-law.

It was good if this was the case. After all, it means their family would be happy and peaceful from now on. He has always like this daughter-in-law of his that cared about his son more than herself.

She had an honest heart and wholeheartedly loved Lu Jian and was respectful towards the elders.

"Good morning Father." Zhen Xiu leisurely sat around the big comfortable sofas and greeted her father-in-law. "It's been so long that you have been away from the house. I am so happy to see you here."

Lu Ming was pleasantly surprised to see this new side of Zhen Xiu. Before she was shy and never tried to maintain contact with him and most of the time she was busy in chasing Lu Jian

"How are you?" Father Lu asked her in concern. Last time, when he left C country she was still in the coma.

Not bad! Her father-in-law was a good man.

She was worried for nothing and even suspected this man for pretending. It was all for nothing. Well, this was good since only Mother Lu was on the receiving side of her revenge.

Lu Jian was observing his mother who was sitting on the side of his father. From the look of it, his mother only returned last night because of his father's arrival.

"I am good. Lu Jian is good and even take good care of my body. You don't need to worry about me." She responded with a cheerful smile. How could she leave her mother-in-law alone for a minute? This would surely make her mad.

"Good! It should be like this. I am proud of you my son." Father Lu praised his son.

Lu Ming had been always worried about his one and only son that was indifferent to everybody. It was good that someone like Zhen Xiu was there to look after him. Now he can finally relax.

Sensing the sudden happiness from her father-in-law Zhen Xiu decided it was the correct moment to unmask her mother-in-law.

"Mother? When did you return?" She asked Mother Lu innocently.

Lu Jian knew what his wife was intending to do with his mother and thus did not stop her from the questioning. He wanted to know why his mother did all those things to his wife despite being a woman herself. It was a big thorn in his heart because the image of a kind lady was stripped from his mind and in her place was a dirty devil.

Lu Qiqi was really not feeling anything at the moment as she knew that the changes in her son were because of his love for his wife and she knew that one day she would have to face all these accusations because of her sudden disappearances.

Her heart was in pain as she was hurting the two men in her life that cared about her and loved her for who she was but it was important to be like this in front of them so as to not give them any hopes for the future.

Lu Ming was aware of his wife's independent nature and knew this was how she would respond but his heart broke again after watching her cold emotionless eyes at him.

He knew that she hated him for binding her with him and caging her life in this marriage. It was not her fault as he was not able to fulfill her dreams. He knew all about this but was disheartened every time to see her behaving like this towards their only son. He was at fault but not his son. How could she remain uncaring towards him too?

Lu Jian saw the pain in his father's eyes and was even more determined to find out that secret that has made her mother's heart turned into a stone that she didn't care about anything happening around her.
