This new morning was different for every member of Lujia. Some were happy and some were sad but the most devastated was Mother Lu.

On her way out, she b.u.mped into Shen Ya and Jiang Wui who were rus.h.i.+ng inside in a hurry.

Lu Qiqi frowned at another member of Shenjia who was coming in her way towards her home. She didn't want to a.s.sociate herself from Shenjia anymore so without giving them a glance she sneered and continued to go away.

Jiang Wui on seeing his aunt waved at her but got no response from her and even got ignored. His beautiful face turned red in shame.

"Why so harsh?"

Shen Ya coldly glared at her stupid boyfriend and hit him on his head. "Shut up! We need to see what happened inside for her to behave like this. Let's go."

"Does that mean we missed the mind-blowing scene?" Jiang Wui cried in anguish.

The most important thing for him was gossip and his network was always reliable in the past when it comes to gathering news like this but today he missed the war in his own house.

Shen Ya was surprised to see the hall empty. There was not even a servant around who would tell her what happened in the house for mother Lu to avoid them like a pest.

Where was Zhen Xiu?

Where was Lu Jian?

Where were her family?

"No one is around." Jiang Wui murmured the obvious.

Shen Ya rolled her eyes at him. "Genius! Go search your brother and I will contact Xiu."

Jiang Wui's mind flashed and in an instant, he marched towards Lu Jian's study for the news.

His heart could not tolerate any more distance.

While Shen Ya called Zhen Xiu in hopes of finding her son and checking her condition. She knew that her friend has shown some new changes in regards to her feelings towards her husband Lu Jian but Shen Ya could never be sure if she didn't see Zhen Xiu with her own eyes.

"Where are you? I hope you are fine as you said you were and not doing something stupid because of Shen Rui again."

Shen Ya was worried. It was a natural habit of her since childhood and she couldn't just change herself because her friend was more smart and independent.

On the other hand, Zhen Xiu was sitting in the nearest cafe and was enjoying plates of chocolate pastries and hot chocolate drink while thinking about the demise of others.
