"Ohhh… This is so nice! The weather is so great..." Arya gasped in wonder at the beautiful beach and Cliffside views while the s.h.i.+p was proceeding to Cote d' Azur.
Cote d' Azur or also known as The French Riviera was everything Arya had imagined and more…
Their s.h.i.+p docked in Cannes and A tender boat was used to carry them from the cruise s.h.i.+p to the dock since the s.h.i.+p was too big and the water was not deep enough for the cruise s.h.i.+p to go all the way to the dock.
One quick tender ride and they were on their way to exploring the area.
They had their tour bus ride of Cannes pa.s.sing by the theatre at which the Cannes Film Festival was held.
Arya noticed that Denise was quiet during the trip.
"I think they had a quarrel…" Arya whispered to Ryu.
"SShhh… just let them be… Quarrelling is natural in every relations.h.i.+p especially between lovers." Ryu said in a very low tone.
Then Arya realized that so far Ryu and her didn't have any major fight with each other.
That's a real good thing because it is mainly the trust along with love in between them that they never ended up fighting, and this is quite a good thing.
She wondered how they will look if they actually fought over something…
'If we ever really fight.. but somehow I will make sure that wont happen or last for a day if it happens.'
The place was much more of a bustling city than they imagined but still with beautiful views, sand, beaches and yes-yachts. The streets were filled with high end designer stores and outdoor cafes.
"Love, I think we had shopped enough for my family. Now let's buy souvenir gifts for your family instead," Arya suggested when she noticed Ryu was choosing lots of things again for her family.
Ryu laughed and answered, "That's okay let's buy as many as we can. About my family, you can choose anything you like for them; they are not picky just like your parents…"
Then they drove along the coastline thru many small French towns until they arrived in Nice.
Nice is the largest city in the French Riviera. As they drove along one of the many thorough fares along the ocean called "Promenade des Anglais", their guide pointed out many historic hotels and buildings including the Hotel Negres...o...b..ilt in 1912.
The couple then strolled around Ponchettes beach area that was lined with palm trees on one side and large areas of fancy beach chairs with umbrellas on the other.
Men, women and children were walking and bike riding along a long path beside the beach.
"Love, once we arrive at the Mansion, I think it would be best that we have our wedding ceremony very soon. I simply can't wait to hang our wedding portrait in our home…" Ryu suddenly opened up as they walked along the beach barefoot.
Arya suddenly stopped in her trails and turned her head to look at Ryu. Though they had a marriage certificate but she hadn't experienced the joy of getting married herself. She was overwhelmed and her eyes started to well up with tears.
She hugged Ryu tightly and with tears flowing down her eyes she whispered in a trembling voice, "Alright… Let's do that and announce the world that the great Ryu Ken is already chained up to me…"
"Yes… even I want to show off to the world that how lucky I am for being chained up by the most beautiful and wonderful woman in the world…" Ryu added as he tightened his embrace and bent down his head for a kiss.
"Tsk, why is this couple showing too much public display of affection. Geez…" Greg murmured from behind.
Denise rolled her eyes and said, "Well that's better than being a boring partner who focuses on nothing but phones, gadgets…"
Greg stopped walking and turned around to face her then hissed, "What do you mean? Are you trying to tell me I'm boring?"
                                                                                
"Did I mention your name? If you felt stabbed then maybe that's you…" Denise murmured and walked faster leaving Greg with a gloomy face.
"How long do I have to tolerate this b.i.t.c.h!" Greg said while gritting his teeth and dialed his phone.
"Can't you find some other, real stupid heiress to help our business mom? That b.i.t.c.h is getting on my nerves! She's too complicated for me. Get someone who doesn't think and talk at all!" he complained on the other line.
Denise was a perfect choice if you go by looks, but as days went by, he started getting frustrated.
She did not allow him to even touch her and more annoying was the fact that she even booked a separate room and he was frustrated to his limit now.
Yes he would marry her for business but of course for pleasure as well!
But if she remained stiff and aloof with him like this, he would better find someone else suitable for his demands soon.
Denise was a pretty perfect catch.
She's from a clan of politicians. Her father was about to run for president this year and his chances of winning was almost 99.9 %. Their family business was into vehicles.
If she was just a simple person he could easily deal with her and do whatever he wanted to with her by force but she's someone he must avoid laying his hands on.
                       
Their group soon walked down to the large farmers market located in the "Cours Saleya" square. At the farmers market, vendors were selling everything from fruits to flowers to bread to lavender.
Ryu noticed that Denise was alone and in sour mood, so he whispered to Arya as he let go of her hand, "Hmm I'll let you slip from my grip for a while this time…"
Arya smiled and said, "Thanks love that's so considerate of you. I'll grant you a reward later…"
She gave him a peck then quickly ran towards Denise as she held the latter's hand.
"Come here sis and let's see what's there to shop. Stop frowning and we'll treat you to dinner later so eat with us this evening." Arya said smiling while Denise's frowning face suddenly softened.
She was actually thinking to book a flight home but she loved to travel and visit new places and it's such a waste not to visit the places she had never been to before just because she was p.i.s.sed off with her fiancé.
'Fiance… does this word even suit that b.a.s.t.a.r.d!'
"Sis, I have decided that after this trip, I will break the engagement. I don't think things will ever work-out between us." Denise murmured while they walked together.
Ryu was following them behind.
"Whatever your decision is make sure that you follow your heart and do what makes you happy and satisfied. If you need anything, you have our contact so don't hesitate to reach us anytime we will always be available for you." Arya said while she placed her arms on Denise's shoulders.
"Geez, it's really a good thing I booked this cruise and met you guys… I found sincere friends and I'm so lucky." Denise said smiling sweetly.
She could feel sincerity towards the couple and she liked them very much.
Someday, she hoped that she could also return the favor she was receiving from them…
