"You know I'm hiding in here?" Denise asked in complete astonishment. Shawn seemed to be waiting only for her to come out judging by his look.

Shawn simpered. He was no longer shocked on her. She was the type who will make your head blast at any moment. She was a complete trouble maker.

He pointed his lips irritably at the disarranged picture frame on his table and arched an eyebrow before he says, "It's my room so I know how everything is arranged. No one could enter my haven except me unless I permitted it. And the maids a.s.signed in here knew how I hate changes on my things. What is this now?"

Denise pursed her lips… She was once again caught on an awkward situation. Embarra.s.sment ate Denise once more when Shawn threw her his piercing gaze.

"Uhm Uncle Lee told me to look around while waiting for dinner and so I did but then I suddenly felt the need to go to the restroom… but other doors were locked. I did not bother to get down since I thought there's a restroom in this floor for sure … so I ended up in here instead, I actually was about to go out but…" she explained stammering.

Shawn's forehead furrowed, "You are really something huh? Still calling the Old Man Uncle? Are you for real? Because I'm sure you heard him loud and clear about his bad plans for your family so if I were you, cancel this stupid engagement now and don't get involve with this so called Lee Family… and by the way the rest room is just there, halfway of the corridor and you already pa.s.sed by it I'm sure…"

"No, when I felt the need to go to the restroom, I was already pa.s.sed by on that halfway so…" Denise quickly defended on a tongue-tied way.

She must continue to be his fiancée no matter what. So she quickly thought of an alibi on how defend herself on staying as his fiancée.

She looked straight at Shawn's face and said, "NO, I clearly won the game last time so this engagement will continue as long as I want beside, my father can handle Mr. Lee so he can't use him that easily."

She stopped when Shawn seemed to not comment or react at all, she couldn't see his expression since it's already dark.

'What does she wants now?' Shawn thought silently. He was giving her the opportunity to escape his cruel world but the woman was giving him a hard time.

Maybe he needed to be ruder on her. The way she could easily get scared or frightened.

Shawn shook his head. Impatience could be read all over his face as he walked towards Denise… While the latter kept moving backwards until her back reached a wall.

He moved closer to her that his face was almost touching hers.

"So hara.s.sing me is not enough? Now you're invading my privacy and wanted to act like a clingy fiancée to me?" he hurled as he tried to scare her by touching her abruptly in her arms.

"Well… I was drunk last time so I might be in a hallucination mode a bit and I think you look like a sleeping beauty… you know the feeling like I am just dreaming…" she stuttered while trying to think what she could say next.

She was getting nervous, not because of his growled voice and sudden grabbing of her arms.

She was nervous that she felt the b.u.t.terflies inside her stomach flying around and going crazy because of Shawn's nearness.

She blinked several times trying to peer at Shawn's face but it was really dark so she unconsciously lifted up her hands to touch his face like a blind person.

"What are you doing now?!" Shawn snapped when he felt her warm hands searching and touching his face.

Shawn couldn't believe that he would encounter a woman like her in his entire life…

"Oh I'm sorry, it's because I couldn't see your face clearly so…" She murmured hastily and added, "I really feel weird right now like something… there's this kind of electric… Darn… Let me just confirm it…"

Before Shawn could speak, Denise cupped his face and he felt her lips pressed on him.

"Weird… I think…" she muttered like he was not there while her lips were still pressed on him.

And to his shock, Denise started to move her lips on him like she was experimenting. She bit alternately on his lower and upper lips as she pulled then sucked on it.

Shawn stood frozen like a statue. He could feel her soft lips and her tongue and teeth. She was obviously playing on him.

That only explained how she was acting right now. She was a playful girl who wanted to use him as her toy.

"You want to play? Then you should do it right like this…" he whispered on his breath as he moved and encircled his arm around her waist while the other his other hand was used to hold her nape as he kissed her harshly.

The kiss was intense that Denise could feel her knees weakened that she clung tight to Shawn not to fall.
He was searching her deeper with his tongue that slipped inside of her mouth.

Neither of them was stopping… Denise was kissing him in return and Shawn had forgotten his real intention to scare her as he was engrossed by their intimacy.

But then, a knock was heard from the outside door accompanied by a female voice saying, "Sir Shawn, Sir Lee is calling for you. He said that you go down now while we look for Miss Ming."

That stopped Shawn as he separated his lips from Denise who was catching her breath in return.

"Yes, I'll be down in a second and tell him I will find Miss Ming instead," Shawn answered.

Denise stared at him in the dark, she still couldn't see his face vividly but she could feel that he was staring at her also.

Her arms were still encircled to his neck while Shawn still held her.

She exhaled and said confidently, "I think I like you…"
