Arya received text messages from Denise that she couldn't make it to visit and watch her at the set today.

She couldn't help but chuckled on her own as she read the last part on Denise's message.

[My hubby said, we will not leave until the bed is cracked Sis. My bed is made of metal so I guess I will be stuck in here forever… hehehe *kiss emoji … I will visit you soon… *Blink emoji]

She was relieved that Denise and Shawn seemed to be having a good and working in progress relations.h.i.+p.

At least Shawn was no longer alone. He had someone like Denise by his side. And it's just a matter of time...

Arya was sure, love could heal all his wounds and love would change him to be a better person.

Hopefully, all things would also work-out between him and the Kens.

"Hey… You look so happy? Is there anything good going on?" Bernard whispered at her side.

Arya was startled and gasped, "Oh you scared me… Don't do that again."

"Did I? Okay no more whispering like a ghost..." Bernard said smiling and sat beside her.

Arya smiled back… She was in a good mood so she would let Bernard pa.s.s for now.

"You are doing great in every scenes. By the way, if you don't have plans later let's grab dinner together with Kay." He asked while his eyes watched his people working at the set for another scene.

"I'm sorry but I have to say no. My husband will pick me up." She answered apologetically and put her mobile phone in her pocket.

She did not notice how Bernard's face crumpled.

"How's your marriage life? Are you happy? I mean most marriages don't really work out well in the end." He asked out of the blue.

Arya laughed and answered, "Yes, of course I'm absolutely happy. I've never been happier and contented my whole life and that's because Ryu was added to my life. Why do you ask? Do you plan to marry soon and want an advice?"

She heard Bernard laughed and said, "The girl i want to marry did not recognize me."

Arya creased her forehead. "What? How is that possible? I mean did she have an amnesia or disease with brain or memory involvement?"

Bernard turned his head on her and winked, "nah I doubt it. She's completely normal but I guess it's been a long time since we last saw each other so she couldn't recognize me anymore. She's a cute little girl that time, who said she would protect me so I don't have to worry..."

"You like the girl and you're not telling her yet. That's the worst. You should toughen up and tell her everything and scold her for forgetting you." She suggested humorously.

"I'm too late… Way too late. But I will keep on watching her back. And take her away, the moment I see her get hurt…" Bernard murmured.

"You're weird…" Arya commented in a jest.

"Yeah I guess I am." Bernard answered smiling.

Arya was comfortable with Bernard like an older brother though he looked younger than his age. Maybe because his physique was very fragile and he was the flower boy type.

No wonder he placed second at that internet poll for best CEOs.

Remembering the reality show, she furrowed her eyebrows to Bernard and say, "Hey watch my husband for me inside the house. Well, maybe you should watch out for yourself instead… since my husband is the best."

"Ouch, that hurts… well, I will join not to win but serve the viewers since they want to see this handsome man in that show so don't worry I will definitely watch your husband inside!"

Then the director called out for Arya to get ready on the next scene. So Arya quickly stood up and bid farewell to Bernard before she walked towards the director.

Bernard stared at Arya's back and whispered, "I will watch Ryu Ken and see if he really deserves you…"

From a distance, Kay was observing Bernard...

"He's really suspicious," he muttered. He was sure Bernard was interested in Arya based on his observations lately.

Bernard was the heir of Cooper Entertainment.

When he was young, he heard that Bernard was often sick so he had to leave the country to be admitted at the best hospital.

There's also news that he had an operation but the media did not disclose anything about his illness.

Bernard stayed to a foreign country for many years and was introduced as the new CEO of Cooper Entertainment years ago.

He guessed that his disease was not totally cured since he was never present in the company physically.

Kay was working with him for years already through video calls communication at most.

Otherwise, he would be called to travel abroad every once in a while to discuss very important or confidential matters with him.

And just this month, he was surprised that Bernard arrived and said he would be staying for good in their country. So he guessed, he was totally fine now.

"But I really smell it… Something is fishy and I'm sure about it now… so fishy!" he mumbled as he stared to Bernard who's eyes were fixed to Arya the whole time.

His hunch was rarely wrong and he could feel that there's a connection between the two, well, maybe a connection from Bernard to Arya to be precise.

Dina looked at him with twisted mouth and said, "Moms.h.i.+e Kay what are you saying? I don't smell something fishy…" Then Dina tried to snip around their area once more...

"Stop that and go to Arya. See if she needs retouching of her make-up." He instructed and the latter follow.

When Dina was almost near Bernard, Kay shouted, "Snip there and you might smell that fis.h.!.+ Very fishy smell..."

Dina: "...?"
