"Aren't you going to have dinner with us dear?" Cecile asked her son when Ryu got up to leave and bid his farewell to her.

"No Mom, my wife is waiting for me," Ryu said smiling. One of the reasons he was in their ancestral mansion was to tell his parents about Arya and their marriage.

Cecile sighed and said, "Alright, after you introduce yourself to her parents and come back from the honeymoon, bring her over and let all of us also familiarize with her. You know how things work here so better give her a heads up and prepare her well for all that. We all know how strict your grandfather is."

Ryu didn't say anything but just smiled, nodded and kissed his mom.

Cecile let out a long sigh. She was relieved that Ryu had finally found a woman he loved and really cared about. She could feel it in Ryu's aura; her handsome and cold son was no doubt in love after all his coldness has been replaced by a gentle warmth that melted her own heart also.

She was glad that her son had married for love and not for business or collaborations by an arranged marriage.

She was so disappointed in herself for being stupid enough to push her own son into a cliff due of her stupidity and awful past.

Thank goodness that father has now stopped interfering in selecting partners for the children of the family and the boys could choose whomever they wanted, though he still set up and arrange for dates for them until they have chosen someone in their lives.

"Sigh! Now I have to cancel the lined up dates I had set up for Ryu."

Being part of the Ken Family was hard and she just hoped that Ryu's wife was a strong headed and strong willed woman unlike herself who was still weak and incapable of handling all the matters on her own and lacked determination in so many things.

Ryu headed back to his home after visiting the ancestral mansion since he got a message from wife to be home for dinner.

Ryu quietly entered the living room to surprise Arya. Nnstead, he was welcomed with a big surprise, Arya arranged for a candle light dinner at home and he felt kind of awkward.

"Wow. What's this? I think I should be the one to do this kind of stuff. This feels weird," Ryu said timidly.

Arya smiled sweetly at him and walked towards him.

She held his arms and gave him a peck on his cheeks "Welcome home hubby."

She then led him towards the dining table, "Come here and let's eat first. I'm sure you're hungry already," Arya said as she gestured Ryu to sit on the chair however, Ryu suddenly pulled her towards himself and hugged her tight.

"Uhmm wait, let me relax a little first." He inhaled deeply to take in her scent and tightened his grip around her. Arya wiggled in his arms as she was getting crushed.

Ryu smiled and loosened his embrace and kept his chin on her shoulders and rubbed his nose on her ears and said, "Please for a while, just for a while let's stay like this.

Let me be sure I am not fantasizing. This feels so good yet surreal, seeing you waiting for me to arrive home, welcoming me with a kiss. I just feel like flying high in the sky right now." Ryu whispered and felt Arya's arm caressing his back.

"Hmm… Are you tired? Do you want a ma.s.sage after dinner? I'm good at it." Arya said mischievously because she actually doesn't know how to do the ma.s.sage at all; she just said it to simply please her husband.

Ryu chuckled and said, "No, I don't think it's a good idea because you know what your touch does to me? I may not be able to control the urge to eat you and you still have the periods."

Arya flushed as she caught the meaning behind his words.

"Okay let's go and eat now," Ryu said before releasing Arya from his embrace and giving her a quick kiss on the lips.

Arya had prepared a prosciutto-wrapped chicken for two and tomato paprika soup with hearty grilled cheese sandwiches. They had crème brule for dessert. All in all a very sumptuous meal was there on the dining table.

"Wow! That's a great spread, my wife is an amazing cook." Ryu praised Arya as he winked. Arya laughed and blushed. She was feeling contented deep inside.

"Arya, now that we are married I think, I should formally introduce myself to your parents now? In fact I have already cleared my schedule for next five days so we can go and stay at your parents place for a while. What do you think?" Ryu said looking intently at Arya while the latter poured wine in Ryu's gla.s.s.

"Uhm I told to my father about you, so they actually know about you and all what happened before. I think they will be shocked to see you together with me. Actually they will be happy also when they will come to know about our marriage… but maybe my father will be a little upset for getting married without his knowledge." Arya kept on speculating things.

"Actually even I am afraid how they will react. I hope all goes well." Arya said in a doubtful voice. She was really not sure how her parents will react.

"Alright, no need to worry. I will take care of everything. We will face them together and I will try my best to make them accept our relations.h.i.+p. So Mrs. Ken the plan is that we will travel tomorrow night and I'll come along with you. Because I think it's best to meet them together. I'm actually quite nervous so you have to brief me later about likes, dislikes, hobbies and favorite things of each of your family members. So at least I'll have a good first impression." Ryu said while he sipped his wine.

Arya sighed and nodded. She agreed with Ryu that they both need to talk to her parents to tell them about their marriage.

"I thought you'll never keep that. The ring.." Ryu suddenly blurted-out as he noticed that Arya wore the diamond ring he gave her as an engagement ring.

"It is looking good in your hands."

"But you need to take it off now as our wedding ring will take its place now." Ryu said as he stood up and walked at Arya's side and took out a box from his pocket and opened it.

"I had bought our wedding rings six months ago only and since then I have kept them with me, waiting for your return." Ryu held her hand picked the ring from the box and smoothly slid the wedding ring on her ring finger.

Arya was astounded by the whole scene that unfolded in front of her and tears welled up in her eyes…
'Just how deep is your love for me? Will I ever be able to fathom the depth of your love for me?'

"Will you not help me with my wedding ring sweetheart?" Ryu said teasingly when he saw Arya in a daze.

Arya came out of her trance and picked the ring meant for Ryu and it was then that she noticed that both rings were custom made couple ring with a wave ike pattern made with beautiful diamonds and also that their names were engraved on the inner sides of the rings.

Everything as exceptional as it could be….

"There my husband," Arya whispered as she smiled lovingly and looked at Ryu with her damp eyes.

She leaned forward and kissed him and then she whispered, "Thank you for loving me. Thank you for waiting for me. Thank you for marrying me. I love you Mr. Ryu Ken."

Meanwhile, during dinner at Ken Mansion, Elder Master asked while looking at Butler Omni, "Why was Ryu here?"

"He just wanted to ask me a few tips on what he should do how he should behave and some ways to impress Arya's family. He is going to meet the in-laws." Butler Omni answered then grabbed a bite of his meal.

"And what did you tell him?" Elder Master Ken asked with a wrinkled forehead.

"Nothing much, I told him to buy a few presents for Arya's family. Dean already told him to be himself and try to prove his dedication and his sincerity to them. I think that would be enough." Butler Omni answered simply and continued eating.

Then Elder Master s.h.i.+fted his gaze to Cecile. The latter understood and spoke, "I already told him to bring her to the Mansion to meet with everyone here after he had met her family. But he said that they will go on a honeymoon trip for a week, so he will bring her here to meet us after that."

Then he looked at his son next and asked, "How about you?"

"What about me? Do I need to report how my son just greeted me?" Karl answered with crumpled face.

Then he added with a complaint, "Are we in the military dad? Gosh, can you let us eat first and let's talk after."

"Why are you so worked up? Are you on your period?" Elder Master Ken hissed.

Butler Omni almost choked while Cecile suppressed her laughter…
