Chapter 3411 Four Weeks

"We are finished; go do your jobs," I said to my a.s.sistants, as we finished up with a discussion of diagnostics and treatments.

I have a few more hours before I see the patients in the evening.

All five of them bowed and left the room and I turned into the breakthrough formation, where twelve people were making a breakthrough.

It had been four weeks since I started the clinic and now, the breakthrough formation rarely remains empty.

Not all the people here are making a breakthrough from Primary III to Sovereign. Some are making a breakthrough to levels within Sovereigns, which is fine by me.

In these short weeks, I have become quite famous in the city, more than I had liked to be. There are many reasons for that, one of them being my impeccable record.

Over one hundred and fifty people have made a breakthrough in the past two weeks in my clinic, and not a single one had failed.

It is not just luck. 

I only let the people make breakthroughs, who have over 80% chance to succeed. If they have any problem, I treat them before helping them make a breakthrough.

I even heard some Peak Sovereigns are inquiring about me for their breakthrough into Earth Sovereign.

Some peak Sovereigns have come to me for advice. 

Unfortunately, not a single one of them is ready. All of them would require years before they become ready to make the breakthrough into the Earth Sovereign.

I don't need people making a breakthrough into Earth Sovereign. I need those making a breakthrough into Sovereign, which I am getting in great numbers.

Though, I won't reject those who are trying to make a breakthrough into the Earth Sovereign. 

The data will be precious, not to mention the ma.s.sive energy at the second stage of merging the soul and body. I have got a lot from Serene, and I want more.

I focused on the meta-scan of twelve people. 

Three of them are making a breakthrough into the Sovereign from Primary-III, and seven of them are from Initial Sovereign into Mid-Sovereign. One Each trying to make a breakthrough into High and Peak Sovereign.

Looking at their scans, everything is going perfectly.

Which is no surprise, seeing I am giving them boosts, with my own resources. 

They have the required resources, which they have spent years collecting. They are good, but I have a better, one that is more suitable for them. Which I would use if I felt the need for it.

To me, the resources do not matter; I have them in a ma.s.sive number.

What matter to me is data, which I am getting in large amount. I am running hundreds of tests on each of them, getting a large amount of data that I require.

I have nearly finished my requirements and wouldn't mind. If the clinic has shut down today. 

Though, I don't plan to do that. It will remain open till the week of my leaving. Which will be in three weeks.

To be honest, I don't want to leave at all. I like my life here more than I dare to admit; I like healing people and the monotonous schedule. I also liked how much time I am getting to study and work on my inheritance.

With the large amount of data from the breakthroughs; I am making great progress in my inheritance.

It is also because of the deepening of my runic knowledge. 

Every lesson is increasing my knowledge of the ancient runes, which is helping me with the common runes and my inheritance.

A few minutes pa.s.sed, and a very tall, bony man opened his eyes.

"Congratulations, Sroyil," I said to the man, who finished his breakthrough. "It was the smoothest breakthrough, I had ever had,"

"Thank you, healer Brock," said the man with the folded hands. "My help was small. It is you, who did the work," I replied.

I talked to him for a few minutes before he left the hall, and I contacted my a.s.sistant.

"Loren, send Kerba," I said, and less than a minute later. A blue skin, half-elf woman, who looked to be in her late teens, walked inside with a nervous gait.

"Don't be nervous, Miss Kerba. There is a high chance you will succeed," I said to the woman.

"But not 100%?" she asked, to which I smiled. "n.o.body could guarantee 100% success, miss Kerba. If they are doing that, then they are the greatest fools out there," I replied to her, to which her cheeks heated up.

"My apologies. I didn't mean any disrespect," she apologized.

"There is no need to apologize for, it was a valid question," I said to her, and could see her feeling relieved.

"So, are you ready for the breakthrough?" I asked. "Yes," she replied after a moment of silence.

"Then sit there and bring out all your resources," I said to her. She nodded and sat on the only empty spot on the breakthrough formation, before bringing out her resources, which fell on the spots they needed to be.

The breakthrough didn't start immediately. The formation scanned her, and my clone studied her meta-scan.

There had been some sabotage a few days ago. 

I didn't even antagonize anyone, but they took some perceived offense and tried to sabotage me.

I always take precautions. 

So, I caught the problem, before asking the person to make a breakthrough, which went smoothly. I have also dealt with a person who tried to sabotage me.

They have been suspended for two decades from practicing in the Javelin and their reputation the ruin.

The punishment is a little lighter than I liked, but I didn't pursue it. There are more important things for me to do than waste my time on them.

I watched it for a few minutes before closing my eyes.

Once again, I am in my core; this time, instead of going to the library directly. I helped my clone to harvest the resources.

Most of these resources get harvested by the formations, but some are too delicate and need a personal touch. Though, I am working on formation, which is better than the one that I am using now. 

Every week, I need to harvest some resources.

The core is a great place; the best quality soil and time dilution make many resources grow fast.

Though not all of them are like that; there are some plants in my core that take centuries to mature.

A few minutes later, I finished with the harvesting and went to the library, where I worked on my inheritance and studied, till it is time to see patients in the evening.

I did that for three hours before going to my place on the top floor and having dinner. By that time, all the people have finished breakthroughs.

I didn't admit others in their place.

I am going out to attend a weekly discussion at the healer's guild. It is quite good; I have learned so much in the past two weeks.

While I may have huge knowledge in the library; interaction and discussion are necessary. 

It is how we exchange ideas and learn things that might be in the books.
