I stepped out of the abode one and half days later and walked away from the tower as any Earth Sovereign would do.

They stopped searching for me within a day, understanding I had truly escaped with no hope of them finding me.

Though they have tried very hard to find me. I had sensed over forty different Earth Sovereigns in this section alone and I am sure there were more searching the other sides.

I am angry at them for what they had done to me but also understand why they did that and the reason them for trying so hard to search for me.

The tower has a serious side effect, with many dying. Even a person like me with deep medical knowledge wouldn't be prepared enough to not face any side effects.

I am still suffering some, but they all are manageable and worth it, seeing the benefits I have got.

The benefits are amazing, with them, I will reach the limit a lot sooner than I had imagined.

I suddenly stopped and sealed my body with stealth at full power. I stayed as such for a minute and a half, before unsealing my body and resumed moving.

The Sky Sovereign moved fast, but his soul sense was scanning everything. Not to mention, he was powerful. A Peak-Sky Sovereign. If he had been a little slower, and scanning with greater clarity, he might have been able to discover me.

I do not fear getting discovered by anyone other than Peak Sky Sovereigns. They have the power to discover me.

A few minutes pa.s.sed, and I stopped again. This time, it was another Sky Sovereign, but a weaker one. He wouldn't have discovered me, even if I continued walking, but I didn't want to take a needless risk.

Hours pa.s.sed, and I came across countless Sky Sovereigns, some were going toward the tower, while the others moving out of it.

It is a very popular spot after it, there are not many others of such quality in the close distance. I have already chosen my destination and it would have taken me five days to a week.

The next day, I came out, the moment my energies had become thin enough for me to travel. Hours pa.s.sed, and I continued with my journey, stopping only when there was a danger or something curious going on.

Right now, I am trying to move as fast as possible, while being stealthy as I can.

There are five Sky Sovereigns fighting; they seem to be fighting over precious resource that appeared. Already, one monster has died and more will die.

If things continued as such, then not even a single one would remain alive.

They are not the only ones, who want that treasure, but also three Sky Sovereigns hiding. Those three are powerful enough to contend with the monsters, but they are hiding.

I would have loved to get my hands on the thing, they are fighting for, but I don't have a death wish.

I wouldn't go there, even if it is a thing, that could take me to the limit. It is from what I could sense, but there is no way, I would be able to get my hands on it, even with all my abilities.

Instead, I would find myself dead and I rather enjoyed living.

It was forty minutes more, before I was able to heave a sigh of relief and increased my speed further. For a few more hours, the journey had gone smoothly, with only a few minutes of stopping.

It was a late afternoon when I sensed something and stopped. It is not a monster or Sky Sovereigns that stopped me, but something else.

I spread my soul sense toward it and a few minutes later, I walked, before reaching it.

"Those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds have left it intentionally," I said I looked at the dead bodies with b.l.o.o.d.y marks on them. There are eighteen people and looking at the marks on their bodies, they have been tortured ritualistically.

It would have been painful to see the expressions of the people.

These people looked fine from the outside, but all their energies have been sucked. The only reason they are looking for such, is because of the foreign power.

Well, others couldn't sense it, but I did. There are six people who did the deed. They have done quite a thorough job of wiping their auras to such a level, that even if it could be detected, one couldn't match up to them.

Well, they have not thought about me.

I collected the samples and placed them in my collection. Now, whenever I come across the hosts these auras, even in trace amounts, I will detect them.

I hope I do, because these b.a.s.t.a.r.ds will pay more than a hundred times of what they have made these poor people suffer.
