Chapter 3746 Month
?'Wake up,'
I heard the familiar voice and opened my eyes before my eyes widened in joy as I understood why the clone had informed me.
I had asked my clone to do that, two days ago. Even stipulated that wake me, even if I am sleeping, which my clone did.
I looked at the clock for a moment, before closing my eyes.
Immediately, I appeared by my clone, which is inside the first hive, watching the bees coming out of the pupas.
These are no more normal straven bees, but the bees, which had been consuming the honey from a metal-essence tree.
It had been over forty days since the bee had laid the eggs. It had been over a month since I came here, which is a five months since the bees had laid out the eggs.
It usually only takes three months with three years total life-spam, but the other second honeycomb took four months, while this one, a month more than that.
This isn't surprising, seeing these aren't the normal straven bees.
I looked at the first bees, which looked quite different from normal starven bees, they looked even different from the bees in the other hive.
The first thing I noticed was their size. They are half the size of bees of other hive and they are not going to get bigger, since they are adult and will remain unchanged till their death.
The second thing is their color. They are golden with a clear metallic s.h.i.+n.
It wasn't just s.h.i.+n, I could feel, they had gained the metal element, but was relieved to see that it was a general metal element, not a specific one. I was worried they might gain, an element of metal essence fruits.
Which would have been bad, considering; I never planned to stick to a single element of fruits.
Every time, I used different types of essences; they create the fruits of that element.
I had sold some of the fruits here. There was a bidding war for them. It was amazing, the things I had got in exchange, and I am willing to offer more.
It is dangerous, but I am taking all the precautions, including manipulating the working of the auto market to keep myself anonymous and other precautions, so that even Sky Sovereigns couldn't find out about my ident.i.ty.
I turned to the bees and felt their aura, which is of the Peak-Earth Sovereign, and it is stronger than the bees of the other trees.
Soon, all the drone bees came out of the pupas, of seventeen of them.
A much smaller number compared to the other give, where seventy-two bees have come out. Those bees took an immense number of resources to grow, but they have already proved their worth.
The honey, they are refining, is of a higher quality than before and each successive generation of bees would produce better honey reaching the peak.
Finally, the queen started to come out, and, seeing it, a smile appeared on my face.
There were three queens born in the second hive, but here, it is only one. The honey they produce is enough to support the birth of one queen at a time, while the other hive has produced three.
The queen took the place prepared for it, while thirteen of the seventeen new bees went out for the nectar.
I will check on them three days later and see whether these bees behaved the same as the second gives did. What they did surprised me; it differed from how they would behave.
It made me believe that I shouldn't a.s.sume, that these bees would behave like most straren bees.
It is the environment and the resources that shape the species. So, I shouldn't be surprised. They are behaving differently and even begin to pull some strings to move them in a certain direction.
Speaking of which; it is time, the second hive would, to get its challenge.
I disappeared from the hives and appeared on the second island. There are monsters, roaming. They have already learned what to eat and what to not.
Every plant is covered in the formation, and they could only eat those things that I do not need, like leaves and others, but not all plants.
Some plant leaves are precious.
There were thirty-two monsters, but now only twelve have remained. I had gone out three days ago and collected them from the surrounding area.
I targeted the six, and they disappeared and appeared under the seedling of the world tree. Immediately, their eyes went to the hive; I have been giving them some honey, and they have developed quite a thirst for it.
ROARRRR RAORRR RAORRR!
The group of peren bears roared and moved toward the honey with a maddening gleam in their eyes.
There is an art to making honey. It is not just to provide them with great resources, but also to the environment, and that includes challenges.
If the bees didn't have challenges; they would become fat and lazy. I couldn't let that happen, I needed to keep them on edge, which would force them to make the best honey to produce the strongest bees.
The bees reacted, seeing the monsters and the fight begin.
These monsters are powerful, but so are the bees. Still, it took them, nearly an hour to finish the bears off. I watched from the corner of my eyes with a screen floating in front of me.

A few hours pa.s.sed, and I opened my eyes and got out of the abode. I placed the essence into the pillar before walking toward the market for evening shopping.
I looked at the curtain, which was still closed even after a month of coming here.
The population of the city, more than tripled by this time, that now it had to begin to feel like the real city, with waving my neighbors and all.
I have even been invited to dinner and there was a huge part a week ago where the whole city took part.
People are squeezing this place for everything it could offer, but I could see nearly everyone looking at the curtain, now and then, waiting for it to open.
So, they could go home.
