Chapter 3752 Split
I looked at the tool in front of me and the weak thing that appeared on it. It is fainter than I liked, but it is better than aimlessly wandering.
I moved toward it immediately, following it.
It would have been great. If this plan had proper gates to leave; it would have saved a lot of lives. Even I am scared because jumping through the rifts is dangerous and even Sky Sovereigns aren't powerful enough to survive if something goes really wrong.
I pushed those thoughts away and kept moving. My first step is to find a way to srarin continent; everything else comes later.
Hun!
A few minutes pa.s.sed, and I avoided the rifts and monsters, before stopping to collect a resource.
I usually don't stop, but needed to collect this resource. Despite my control and the amazingness of my strings, I couldn't harvest it while moving.
It took me a few seconds, but I harvested it. It is a wonderful resource, that will make even the Sky Sovereigns happy. It is not easy to find such resources and they are quite expensive out there.
The plants have changed by the spatial energy here; some developed a way to defend against it, while others developed a way to consume it.
Both of them are precious.
Especially those that taken a pure spatial element. Even here, such plants are extremely rare. The plant I harvested a few seconds ago had a quarter spatial element in it.
My clone and my soul waves had been modified a little to search for the plants with pure spatial elements. They are extremely rare and useful; I had used the essence of a few of my breakthroughs.
I would like to have some more.
I sensed another Earth Sovereign a few minutes later and avoided him. He like me, searching for the spatial rift, that will take him to his home.
I didn't reveal myself to him and continued moving.
From tomorrow, the exchange will begin. It is necessary; this place is big, and most couldn't find the rift they need, but others might have found them.
So, we will exchange the information; it is the quickest way to find rift one needs.
A few minutes pa.s.sed, and I got quite close to the rift as the signal became stronger. I increased my pace, but not enough that I would be discovered by the monsters or the powerhouses.
Soon, I reached the rift and what I saw couldn't help, but disappoint me.
"As expected," I muttered. I should have expected it by the weak signal, but I had let myself hope.
The rift in front of me is just a hand size; it is a problem, but not a big one. I have tools to expand it, but it is not stable; it is so unstable, that is shaking; doing anything with this ruin would be a grave mistake.
I shook my head and walked away.
Over ten minutes pa.s.sed, and nothing appeared on the tools in front of me. Though I had sensed people and harvested a few resources.
Like me, they too are looking at their tools with blank screens.
I opened the map of this place, which couldn't be referred to since it was over a thousand years old. Once one entered this place, they couldn't go back to the ruin. So, it had come from the people, who had entered the ruin last time.
Though nothing remained the same due to the spatial rift, one could still ascertain the general place, if they knew what to look.
The map, I have is pretty detailed, based on a large amount of data. My clone has studied it and found where I am and I am not moving toward the area, where large the large number of two-way rifts are.
Hun!
Over an hour pa.s.sed, when I finally got the signal. It is a little stronger than the last one and I begin to follow it since it is the only signal, I have.
A few minutes later, another signal appeared, and it was about of a similar intensity. Seeing that a smile couldn't help, but appear on my face.
The more options there are, the better it will be for me.
I want to leave this place as soon as possible and more options will help me tremendously with that.
Hun!
Twenty minutes pa.s.sed, and the second option disappeared. I am surprised, I am following the first option and the second one disappeared as I moved out of the range; the tool will sense it again after I came back in its range.
I will check the first option first before moving toward the second.
It took me another five minutes, and I saw the rift. Once again, disappointment appeared on my face. It is a stable rift, but it is too small. Small as my finger. I won't be able to stretch it enough for me to pa.s.s through without destabilizing it.
I shook my head and walked back along the way, the way I had come from.
Soon, the took caught the signal again, and I moved toward the rift. Twenty-five minutes later, I was looking at the disappointment again.
I sighed and was about to walk away when I stopped.
A person revealed himself. It is a man, quite tall with purple skin, with a white stony line going in the middle. Which made me think of something before I pushed that thought away.
"Hand over everything you have, and I will let you leave alive," he said. "What if I don't?" I asked back.
Anger lit up in his eyes, and a b.l.o.o.d.y grin appeared on his face
"If you didn't, then I will kill you and make your body into the fertilizers for these plants," he said, and the bone saber appeared in his hand.
"Let me see how you do it, then," I challenged, and the anger in his eyes blazed.
A hesitation appeared in his eyes, but only for a moment before it disappeared, and his aura was blamed.
"Die!"
It took him a fraction of a seconds for it to appear beside me and he screamed as he attacked me with a saber covered in ma.s.sive energies.
It is a really powerful attack, unfortunately; it is not enough.
Pachac!
A rapier appeared in my hand, and a wet sound rang out before it disappeared.
It took him a moment to realize what happened and by then, it was already too late. He begins to split apart from the middle of the stone line of his body.
Thud Thud!
The two pieces of his body fell down on the ground, both having shock and the eyes. It happened too fast for him to realize.
Saying my strength had increased with the breakthrough would be an understatement. It was a leap greater than I had imagined. There are few Earth-Sovereigns across the whole prime world that would be able to fight me and a few who will be able to defeat me.
I picked up his artifact and the storage while leaving his body for the ground to reclaim; it will be an excellent fertilizer for the plants.
If the monsters didn't eat it first.
