This is one of the complications of the suppression tide. It affects abilities. Due to its changing nature, it created gaps in my stealth and made him sense me.

It's hard to sense me because of my stealth changing with the power of the tide, but if other person's sensory method is good enough, they could.

I acted like, I didn't sense him and kept moving. It is not something I had experienced the first time. Though, I hope, there won't be a fight.

He looked to be a man in his early thirties, with grey skin and red horns over his head. He is tall and quite handsome with cheekbones and blue eyes of the shade; I had never seen.

They seemed cerulean at a glance, but not cerulean.

If I survived him. I am going to use that shade for my eyes one day. I hope I do.

He moved closer and closer to me. Until he stopped a hundred meters away from me.

"You are quite powerful to be able to move in such a powerful suppression tide," he said. "So, do you," I replied with a light smile on my face.

To that, he grinned.

"I am and I am very much interested in seeing how powerful you are," he said, taking a step

closer, while I shook my head.

"I rather not fight," I replied.

"The tides are getting stronger and if we fight, we might be discovered by the monster, not to mention. This place has a king," I added.

The grin on his face didn't lessen. Instead, it had widened even more.

"You don't have to worry about that," he said and came at me before I could open my mouth

to reply.
