Zian using his max acting skill got his break as a child star in Vic Sotto's 1985 movie Ma'am May We Go Out?, his role is the nephew of t.i.to, Vic and Joey who wants to claim their inheritance of their deceased rich uncle. The only way for the trio to get their inheritance is to graduate in high school.

He dated Rica Peralejo in 1992 during Ang TV and they broke-up after two years of dating. In 1994, he dated Ara Mina on That's Entertainment for a year but later broke-up due to third party. Early in 1995, he dated Suns.h.i.+ne Cruz, in 1996, he started dated Donna Cruz ,in 2000 he was seeing Kristine Hermosa and was intimate with Angel Locsin in Click TV series.

After the success of his alb.u.m, using his max writing skills he published under an alias of "Z adventures" his first book which ent.i.tled "Ang Tanging Ina". The story was about a woman named Ina Montecillo who married three times but ended in various accidents and the story progress as she struggles to raise her 12 kids while doing several odd jobs. The book was published under PSICOM Publis.h.i.+ng Corporation; it sold more one-hundred thousand copies on its first week of published, one month later it sold for more than three-thousand copies and more than half a million.

Two sequels were made which ent.i.tled "Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat and "Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na 'To!) under PSICOM Publis.h.i.+ng Corporation; it sold more than one million copies. A movie adaptation was made and co-produced with Star Cinema and it gross by over ₱136 million. The next two sequels were also earned a total of more ₱ 439 million in the box office.

In the next few years, he published two-hundred Chinese novels, one-hundred fifty j.a.panese novels and a hundred Korean novels. While, he has over a hundred publish novels were adapted into Art films and became Philippine submissions/entries for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and various Film Festival; Inagaw Mo ang Lahat sa Akin, Segurista, Milagros, Sa Pusod ng Dagat, Saranggola, Anak, Gatas... He also wrote and produce of more than three-hundred forty films, it's grossed in domestically and international of more eight-hundred twelve million dollars. .

Using his max cooking skills were enrich through his apprentices.h.i.+p in various top chief like Gordon Ramsay who's cooking style are French, Italian and British. He got the chance of personally invited by Gordon Ramsay after winning the US version of Master Chief Season 1 in 2000 which he use "Zach" as a screen name. Later, he turned down the promotion to be a head chief of Ramsay's restaurant in Conrad Tokyo, j.a.pan because he wants to open his own restaurant in Philippines and expand it later internationally.

He continues his apprentices.h.i.+p to enrich his knowledge and perfect his skills in French cuisine under Joël Robuchon in French cuisine, he then went to pastry Chef Martín Berasategui to train as a pastry chef and later learned j.a.panese cuisine from iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. He opens his own culinary school to pa.s.s his skills and knowledge to enrich his fellow countrymen understanding about Filipino cuisine.

Later, he would hire these graduates as an apprentice and employ them after in his restaurants. He has a total of twenty-eight restaurants which managed by Neo, eleven are scattered in the key cities around the Philippines, one in SM Mall of Asia and sixteen are in New York, Las Vegas, California, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Rome, Paris, London, Macau, Shanghai, Monaco, Bangkok, Russia and Tenerife.

His annual earnings from his restaurants are at sixty million dollars, are all rated three Michelin stars with the highest record of a total of 84 Michelin Guide stars among and the most of any chef in the world.

His company Ejercito Holdings named under his father as CEO and founder is estimated net worth of one point five billion US dollars by Forbes magazine in 2019. While, his personal money is around fifteen billion US dollar in safe-keeping and his forty-seven point two billion US dollars investments are named under his various business partners in the country and abroad, his total net worth is around sixty-three trillion US dollars in 2019.

He still living a simple life together with his mother and sister, he also had done charities, fundraising and donations for various NGO's in the Philippines. The estimated amount he donated is over one hundred million US dollars under his nicknames.
