Hong Yongrui and Sheng Liena gazed at each other, neither said a word for almost one minute .

"Sir? Would you like us to move you to a different spot?"

The moment the attendant that followed behind the President of Hong Holdings spoke, that immediately broke the two from the spell they seemed to be under .

"That wouldn't be necessary . My appet.i.te is no more, after seeing something like this!"

Hong Yongrui spared the woman a side look, while Sheng Liena stared at the man in shock .

"How can he be this rude?! If he didn't want to interfere then why didn't he just go his way?! What a pompous man!"

Feeling mortified, her face burned with shame .

"Sheng Liena, next time try to really know who your date is, don't be that desperate to choose just anyone!"

The people that worked at the resturant serving under Hong Yongrui, snickered when they heard what he said to Shen Liena, who glared at him with open hostility .

"See this idiot! Telling me to choose my date well! Is he implying that I'm stupid?!"

Looking at her front head to toe, made the young woman s.h.i.+ft in discomfort with her hands clenched tightly by her side .

"President Hong, what makes you think that I randomly picked just anyone for my date?!"

Hong Yongrui's eyes took on a look of disinterest and went on to shrug his shoulder which mirrored what he thought of the things she said to him .

"You are the daughter of President Sheng, I'm sure you can do better than that! Isn't that so?"

Sheng Liena did not know what came over her, as she raised her hand to deliver a slap to the face of Hong Yongrui who was but a mere four inches taller than her .

As though he had antic.i.p.ated what she was going to do, Hong Yongrui held the hand that would have dealt some damage to his face, drawing Sheng Liena close to him, until they stood chest to chest .

"Were you really going to slap me?!"

"Of course! You were asking for it!"

Infuriated that the woman he just rescued was about to repay his kindness with a slap, Hong Yongrui eyes unconsciously followed the movement of Sheng Liena's lips, the bright red lips tugged at something within him, making it almost impossible to look away from them at such a close distance .

Seeing the strange look in the eyes of the man that held her hand, caused one of confusion to appear in those of Sheng Liena's eyes .

Dipping his head until there was hardly any s.p.a.ce left between the two of them, Hong Yongrui lips sealed those of Sheng Liena, slowly kissing them and causing a gasp to escape out of her, which he used to his advantage to delve further into the soft inner moistness of Sheng Liena's mouth, as their tongue tangled in a kiss so hot that it made even the ones around them to avert their eyes away from the unsettling event that unfolded right before them .
