Haruka felt her s.h.i.+ver. He intertwined their hands together and increased his pace.

"Ah- Ah!"

Haruka snarled. This was better. Not only did she feel tighter, but she also moaned more. She screamed his name more.

Haruka grunted as he gave a particularly hard thrust. She gave another small 'Aah' followed by a high-pitched 'Haruka…!'.

He isn't the perfect boyfriend, and even now their relations.h.i.+p always ends up in the wrong order and yet… he wants her to forever to look at him. To touch only him and love only him. Haruka understands full well how impossible that is...

Burying his face into her neck, he whispered ever so quietly, "I love you."

A few hours later

Dream Star Tournament - Stadium

When Haruka felt a pair of arms wrapped around his waist, it belonged to his cute girlfriend who hugged him from behind.

"Stop sniffling."

Lila softly laughed, "Um, sorry."

He turned her around, Lila wore an off-shoulder pale blue and white dress that matched with her fair complexion, she looked like an angel.

"Haruka?"

"I want you to change," Haruka murmured against her ear.

Bright laughter pa.s.sed the girl's lips; she understood what he meant.

"Um Haruka, this is the less revealing outfit. You would like the others."

Less revealing? Indeed, the girl's skirt was reasonably long and went past her knees. But isn't there an outfit that covers her beautiful shoulders and pretty hands? Something that doesn't show her skin at all?

Haruka felt troubled.

Until her hands brushed against his cheek, "I'll wear your jacket after I'm done performing?"

"Yeah."

He realized a second later what she just said. His jacket? Was that her real intention? His lips curve to a smile, well he doesn't dislike the idea of her wearing his clothes.

"Wear it now."

"Ah-huh, it's warm and smells like you."

Haruka said nothing to that comment; he is used to this reaction of hers. He just brushed it off as her having a scent fetish.

"Is your body okay?"

Her cheeks turned red as she shyly nodded. "It's better now."

Is it really? He doesn't mean to boast, but usually, when he has s.e.x with someone, they are rendered unable to move for days. Or maybe her stamina has gotten better now. Either way, she does seem okay.

"Haruka? Did you eat?"

"Huh?"

"Food."

Haruka smiled, "I ate."

Lila hits him, "Not me. I'm talking about real food," Lila trailed off, and gently brushed her hand across his face, "You have to eat. You'll be judging for a very long time."

"I'll make sure I see you on my breaks."

"Aha," Lila softly laughed but nodded, "Okay, I'll give you energy and motivate you then. But you have to promise me to get a bite to eat, judges can have food with them on the panel, but you never bring any. Oh, I got it. Wait here for a moment."

Haruka does so, and she quickly left him. For a split-second, it tempted him to go after her. These days whenever they separate even for a moment, Haruka is worried she would disappear. But it didn't take Lila long to return with a small box in her hands.

"You made this for me?"

His girlfriend nodded and shyly handed it over to him, "For you Haruka."

Why is she acting so cute about this? Doesn't she know how adorable she looks? But his gaze fell on his girlfriend; she must have spent a lot of effort on this despite being tired. He can picture the scene clearly in his head. Her waking up and making him food, in that kitchen with her hair tied up and wearing a cute ap.r.o.n. Haruka wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly.

"Good luck, just remember in my eyes you're the only winner."

"Aha, Mr Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka is that biasness I sense?"

"Biasness mmm," he nips her earlobe, "To my cute girlfriend."

Lila continued to laugh, and he smiled. He liked it whenever she laughed. It's like suns.h.i.+ne to his ears. Beautiful light and gentle sound. He continued kissing her for a bit when he eventually hears the staff call Lila's name. While her turn isn't till later, the partic.i.p.ants go on stage for an opening performance. Since Lila won the last round, she's the center for the opening performance.

The thought of her standing in the center and everybody watching her irked him. Lila, however, pressed her lips against his again, and he hummed in approval. Before her lips made her way to his neck and she bites him. Haruka laughed; what is she doing?

"Marking me?"

"Ah-huh, don't want any pesky flies to get the wrong idea."

"Mmm, can I leave you one then?"

Lila blushed, "You already left me some idiot."

He wants to leave more though, Lila must have sensed his intentions since she moved the strands of hair away from her neck.

"O—only here okay?"

Haruka grinned, well at least she's getting used to his pace.

"Be careful," he whispered.

"Haruka I.."

He squeezed her hands, "I don't know what will happen, considering we know who the spy is now. I don't think she is aware. But just in case, stay safe." He won't whisper sweet words like he would protect her and rush to her side. In the past, he might have tried something that stupid. But, he won't do that now.

He won't give her such empty words devoid of any meaning.

Light laughter pa.s.sed her lips, "I really am no match for you Haruka."
