Besides, how many times has she supposedly fallen in love now? She loved Kiryu in middle school and s.h.i.+chiro? At least that's what it initially looked like. However, Miu was never sure about her feelings for Kiryu. Did she really love him, or was she just curious about the concept of falling in love? A deep sigh pa.s.sed her lips, and in the next moment, Miu finds a hand on her head.

Just seven words, and it felt like her heart had become lighter. It's the same feeling as when she was speaking with Lila earlier. Whether it's Austin Kiryu or Teras.h.i.+ma Lila, they really do have a way of making peoples hearts feel at ease.

Her thoughts broke off when she hears coughing at the door, "Ah, Lila? Why are you," Miu's sentence fell short when she noticed that Kiryu had already made his way over.

"I sensed Kiryu," Lila murmured, and that's all it took Miu to understand. When Lila is vulnerable like this, the first person that comes to mind is Kiryu. Most people would regard it as selfish. But Miu didn't, what's wrong with it? Kiryu has always been the only person who could help her during these times.

"Hey there," Kiryu smiled, his usual smile like he didn't just hear that Lila went downstairs for him. But even Kiryu lost his calm when Lila hugged him, "There, there, are you in pain anywhere?"

This is quite amusing to watch; Kiryu is clearly having an inner battle.

"Kiryu, I have a headache, and my body hurts, and my throat feels dry."

"Did you drink some blood?"

"I'll give you some, so," Kiryu didn't get a chance to finish his words when Lila bite his neck.

Miu had to admit that the sight surprised her too. It's common for hanyou's to drink anybody's blood, lover or not. But most people in relations.h.i.+ps tend to avoid it since it would make their partner jealous. It seems like Lila just threw all the formalities out of the window. The problem is, what will Karas.h.i.+ma think if he sees this?

"Kiryu, your blood is tasty."

"Yeah, but are you trying to suck me dry?"

"I'm sorry, but I'm just hungry. So I need to drink more."

Her sweat fell when she hears the conversation between the two. Why are the two being so relaxed about all of this? Miu knew that these two had quite a carefree nature. However, this issue isn't something they should relax about.

After Lila finished drinking from Kiryu, Miu made sure she laid down on the couch while Kiryu prepared her a drink in the Kitchen, "Miu and Kiryu get along, good friends," Lila concluded.

Miu sighed, 'What is she talking about now?' Friends? It felt strange calling the person who she used to like as her friend. But to her surprise, Kiryu nodded, "Yeah, something like that."

Lila beamed happily, "En! I knew it!"

Miu looked over at Kiryu; she was also in the kitchen area planning to prepare Lila a snack. But Kiryu was already doing so alongside the drink, so she was simply pa.s.sing and pointing out where the utensils were.

"What?"

"We're friends now?"

"We always were," Kiryu nodded to himself.

Really now? That's not how she saw it before.

"Kiryu, Kiryu," Lila called out, "I'm cold."

Kiryu puts down the knife and lowers the heat on the pot before walking back over to Lila. He tucked her in the blanket before he wrapped his own jacket around her, "Happy?"

"En, all better."

If Karas.h.i.+ma saw this, he definitely won't be happy. Is the man still sleeping? Thank goodness. Then again, his wounds were quite severe. Miu was tempted to call a professional over to tend to his injuries. But from the look in Lila's eyes, she knew better than to do something like that. Her gaze softened watching Lila and Kiryu's interactions with each other, 'It reminds me of old times,' Miu thought.
