The next morning, Lila woke up before Haruka and decided to make him a loving breakfast. The words he said last night bothered her. It felt like he was not talking in past tense anymore. "What are you making wife?" a voice from behind her said. She did not have to look up to know who it was.

"Bacon, eggs, sausages. Waffles. Western breakfast."

Haruka smiled, "As expected of my wife, you know exactly what I want." his hands wrapped around her waist. As she felt, his lips graze her cheek.

Lila laughed, "Do you want anything else?"

"Mmm, this should be enough."

She feels so happy...truly being with him like this makes her. For the next few minutes, as Lila cooked, Haruka remained hugging her. It felt comfortable, and at some point, she turned around to kiss him on the cheek. That well lead to her stopping her cooking for a few minutes. By the time she finally got the food cooked, it was well past 7.

"Are you going to her after this hubby?" Lila asked. She wanted to continue basking in his arms like this but knew full well that they couldn't. At least not during the duration of the plan. It's not like they have to avoid each other completely. They have to make it look like to the public that Haruka is two timing. She has to look like the stupid and clueless girl. It's all part of the plan, but Lila hated it.

She doesn't like it when people speak ill of Haruka.

"Yeah," Haruka nodded. "But I'll call you, yeah? Keep your phone on."

"Okay."

Haruka brushed his lips against hers, "I know you'll be lonely. But please bear with it for a while longer."

"I understand Haruka," and she really did understand.

Haruka put his cup down and pulled her into his arms. "It's alright, Lila. I'm still yours. Our relations.h.i.+p is still the same."
