Dream Star 579 Convincing My Wife

Haruka thought so since earlier. But his wife is far too careless. He didn't want to fuss too much with Huan around. Even if the guy is his old friend, he's now become his brother-in-law. He felt nervous when he thought about it that way. Now that the guy was gone, Haruka sighed in relief and focused on his face.

"Wife, why did you come out here? It's cold," Haruka wrapped his m.u.f.fler around her neck.

But the girl was silent, 'She suddenly stopped talking.' Did he offend her by leaving without saying anything? Surely she knew where he was going though. After a few minutes, Lila looked up and pulled something out of her pocket. It was his phone. Once again, he left it behind.

The next message contained several 's.e.xy looking shots.' His sweat fell when he saw his wife's puffy cheeks. "Relax, I don't usually open those picture messages. I send them straight to trash. More importantly, wife....you went out looking like this?"

"I was in a hurry."

Haruka draped his coat around the girl's shoulders. The m.u.f.fler isn't enough. "Let's head back, okay?"

"Okay."

She still seemed a bit quiet, so Haruka pushed her against the wall and kissed her. The girl's mood gradually improved since he noticed her arms around his neck. Haruka wrapped his arms around her waist. Kissing Lila always made him feel better. So, the awkwardness he felt earlier completely vanished, as he focused on his wife's pretty lips.

Lila drew back after a while and laughed, "Um..."

"Wife, I'm so in love with you. Stop me. I'm going crazy when I'm not with you."

"Then, go crazy, hubby."

"Hah, you're amazing. What do I do?"

"Love me more."

Huh? What did she just say?

"Love me more, so I don't have to worry."

"You're still worried?"

"A little," she caresses his hair. "I know you love me. But those people are terrible; they will do anything to break us apart."

"Mei won't do anything now. Look at her condition, too; she will focus more on her health."

"I don't like her Haruka..."

"She isn't a bad person; she's just a bit confused, okay?"

Right now? Well, he supposes now is a better time than ever. Haruka nodded and took his phone from Lila. After a few rings, Mei eventually picked up. "Hel--" his sentence immediately fell short when he hears the sound of moaning and panting. Haruka blinked once and then twice before he left a message and closed his phone.

Just now, 'She was sleeping with somebody?' Well, it's not uncommon for girls her age to have a lover or two. At least she won't be alone. Whatever relations.h.i.+p she has with that person, he will at least keep her company. Rea.s.sured, Haruka turned to his cute wife.

"Let's go on a quick date."

Lila looked him up and down, "A date because you feel guilty?"

"Hey, wife..."

A deep sigh escaped her lips, "Let's go on a date hubby, not because you feel bad or anything. But because we need to go on more dates."

He couldn't argue with his wife's logic and nodded.

Now that he thought about it when was the last time he walked with his wife like this? She remained in the hospital for so long, and before then, Lila became very busy with DEVIL work. At first, Haruka thought it was because of him. After all, the G.o.ddess 4 is a group Lila was in when she was with Kiryu. He thought she was acting considerate for him. However, even after things settled between them. Haruka learned it wasn't like that. During that festival event last month, Lila wouldn't have performed with the G.o.ddess4 members.

"Eh, Lila and Haruka, you're both here too."

"Kogami," Haruka greeted the girl, "Yeah, I ended up coming here, and she followed me." Haruka wanted to show off that his wife came here for him, but Lila suddenly left his arms.

"Yori, wahhhh," Lila wailed and ran into Yori's arms.

Yori laughed, "What happened now? You're so careless, aren't you, Lila?"

Haruka walked over and kissed her lips. "Be good, okay? Don't push yourself too much."

"I understand, hubby. So um," Lila suddenly turned shy. "I want to be intimate later, can we?"

What did she just ask for there? Haruka couldn't get any words out and watched as Lila rushed off. 'd.a.m.n her,' why does Lila catch him off guard now? His wife is too much; she needs to control herself. Realizing Kogami was staring at him, Haruka looked away.

"You're treating her differently. I heard the rumors, but huh..."

"Did I really cause her that many problems? Your all acting like I mistreated her before."

Yori sighed, "It's not that you mistreated her. But, when we met in London for the first time. You were very emotional; you acted on your emotions a lot. How many times did you touch Lila when you were emotional? Think about it."

"Don't beat yourself up over it. We all have emotional outbursts; yours just happened to be the excessive type."

Yori laughed and slapped his back, "Don't worry about it. All is good with you and Lila now, that's all that matters ."

"No, you were a jerk. At least back then, I guess it's more accurate to say you acted like a child."

Haruka sighed, hearing that twice from two different people blows. But, he indeed went overboard then. So, this is his punishment. Haruka didn't think Lila would be so patient with him. To think she remained by his side for so long.

"Do you think I'm selfish?" Yori asked, swiftly changing the topic.

Haruka paused and then nodded. "I thought you'd discourage her from joining another team."

"Initially, I supported Lila returning to the G.o.ddess four. But then I realized there is no need for her to go back to them."
