Dream Star 589 The Ex Girlfriend

It feels like Haruka is over complimenting her a lot these days.

Usually, that's a sign for him acting suspiciously. However, she already confirmed the reason for his odd behavior. It worried him that his ex-girlfriend would bother her. When Lila first heard about it, it did bother her slightly. But, only for so long. How many women has she encountered already? Women who have said they have this type of relations.h.i.+p with Haruka? She's already lost count so many times. One or two appearing makes no difference anymore. Haruka already has a child with one of these women too.

That woman has kept quiet for a while now. Lila, however, is keeping a close eye on her still, just in case she causes a fuss. The real problems for her are Sophia, Aizawa Mei and ...maybe this new woman too? Either way, having so many love rivals is mentally draining. Now she understands how Kiryu felt before. Having all these people liking the same guy, it's like they are in a drama or something.

"Look, Jae-hee, the favorite to win is sighing again."

"Pfft, why is she sighing? She went off with Haruka earlier. Maybe the s.e.x wasn't enough."

"Wow, they did it in the dressing room? How gutsy."

Her cheeks turned red at their conversation. "You two! Quit it! That's not it; nothing is wrong."

"Then…"

"It's only because--" her sentence fell short when she spotted somebody at the door. Lila blinked when she saw her husband.

"Lila," Haruka called out. "Have a few minutes?"

"And he's here again, gag," Jae-hee pulled a disgusted look.

Uh, what is he doing? He rarely disturbs her until the break. When it comes to compet.i.tions, Haruka is normally very serious. He likes to keep their private lives and work lives separate. How rare of him to do something like this.

"What is it?" she was a bit shy.

"Yeah, I have a present for you," Haruka pulled something out of a box, and her eyes widened when she saw a gorgeous pearl tiara.

"Um…"

"Wear this today; you look good in that dress. But something is missing."

"Uh, Haruka?"

"Now that I look closer, you do look prettier than usual. What is it?"

What is this idiot doing in front of so many people? He has no shame whatsoever! Still, she does like the feeling of his hands on her cheeks. Unknowingly Lila leaned onto his palm.

Haruka smiles softly, "Comfortable?"

"Very."

He pulls her into his arms, "This might be better for you."

"I think so too."

"Gag," Jae-hee pulled a face, "You two, get a room!"

Haruka raised his eyebrows, "We do have one. But it's a bit too far."

Lila stepped on his foot, "Quit it."

"Yes, my wife, whatever you say."

Ahh, why does he keep embarra.s.sing her today! This isn't good for her heart at all. Still, this does feel nice. Him hugging her like this. "Wife, are you happy?"

"Km, but don't you have to get going?"

"It feels like they will purposely ask me troubling questions if I remain."

Ah, right. Kiryu is performing too.

"Now, I want to kiss you."

"Ah, hey! Quit it; we can't here."

Haruka's face was dangerously getting close to hers again. She knew he wouldn't stop, so she simply leaned forward and kissed him lightly. Lila drew back immediately, "Okay, done."

"Not enough, do it again."

"Nuh-uh."

"But we didn't use our tongue."

Gah! This man is too much.

"Excuse me, is Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka here?" A sweet voice disrupted their moment. Lila glanced over at the door and saw a woman with short brown hair and pink-colored eyes. She frowned when she hears the woman's tone. What's with that way of addressing him? She's saying Haruka's name in an endearing tone.

Lila buried her face in Haruka's arms, and his arms wrapped around her. He hadn't noticed the woman yet.

"What's wrong now, wife? Do you want to cuddle? Maybe we can go somewhere else; we have ten minutes.."

"Haru."

Haruka glanced over and spotted Rikka, "Huh, you're here."

Rikka giggled, "Didn't you hear I'd attend?"

"Well, yeah, I heard."

Lila stepped on Haruka's foot. What's with this casual conversation! Introduce her as the main wife already. Haruka chuckled, and she frowned. Why is he laughing, this isn't funny?

"And this is?" Rikka questioned. Lila noted how, when the woman called out to Haruka. She only briefly looked at her like this was normal.

"My wife."

"Wife?" Rikka repeated. She laughs, "I apologize, but I didn't think you'd become so good with jokes."

At that comment, Haruka sighed and extended his hand out. He does the same with her hand. "Here." The ring on her finger, and his eyes seemed to gleam brightly.

Lila saw Rikka's calm expression slowly fade.

"So you got married, congratulations. But, this girl. Doesn't she have a fiance already?"

At that comment, the murmurs in the room started. Jae-hee, however, sent a harsh glare in their direction, causing them to stop immediately.

"I'm his wife legally. There's evidence already, what more do you need?" Lila spoke up. She won't just sit back and let this woman silently pressure Haruka.

A tender smile appears on Haruka's face. The unsettled feeling had vanished, "Right, she's my wife."

Rikka's gaze dimmed. "I see your very smitten with each other, what a cute couple."

Clearly, the girl didn't think that at all.

"Haru, can we talk in private?"

"I'm sorry, but I can't go with you. You have to ask my wife first."

"Now, now. Were only going for a small talk as old friends. Do you have to be so difficult? Or is Teras.h.i.+msan, that unreasonable?"

"I am, unfortunately."

"Why are you dating such an unreasonable woman! She isn't like your other toys," Rikka exclaimed.

Haruka, however, wasn't paying attention much. Lila is so cute when she's jealous, those puffy cheeks and when she is clinging to him too. His thoughts broke of when he felt Rikka's hands on the zipper of his pants. "Hey, don't do that."

"It's just a greeting. We haven't met in so long, and you've become more handsome," she leaned towards him. "Your richer too."

A deep sigh escaped his lips when he hears those words. So, that's what she is after? His stupid wealth? Haruka removed her hand away and glared at her. "Don't." It was one word, but he knew Rikka would understand.

Frowning deeper, Rikka pulled away from him. "You've become so boring."

"I was never interesting enough for you, anyway."

"Are you still bitter about that? You know, back then, it was hard convincing my parents for us to date. You had nothing after all."

"Yeah, I was worthless."

Yet, back then, Lila still accepted him. That girl, she never wanted anything from him but his love.

"I regret cheating on you."

Huh? What? "I said, I regret it," Rikka repeated. "You know, you treated me quite well."

"Hah, why bother with this now?"

"Because I want you back."

Haruka sighed, "Do you think it's that easy? I'm married."

"Yeah, that girl. She doesn't suit you at all."

"Whether or not she suits me, you don't have the right to decide," Haruka sighed. He is fed up with all these people interfering with him and Lila. Why can't they leave them alone already? It's so frustrating.
