Dream Star 639 Slight Unease

Haruka's gaze fell on the girl in his arms who was hugging him tightly.

"Lila... I'm sorry about yesterday," Haruka muttered. "I just needed to talk with her."

"I know," Lila nodded.

Did she really know? She's trembling so much. He doesn't like seeing Lila this way. His wife, she's so precious to him. Haruka gently cupped her cheeks and bent down to kiss the girls lips. Whenever words fail between them, this was always the best option. After kissing her for a few minutes, Lila scolds him with more tears in her eyes.

"Idiot, moron, dofous."

Appeasing the wife seems to be difficult today.

He debated about it before he gently kisses her eyelids, nose, and lips.

"I still think your stupid."

"Mmmm."

"I mean, what's with you. Why do you have to act so kind to every women you see on the street or something? Is that a disease?" Lila probed questioningly.

Haruka blinked before he chuckled. What disease, his wife says such cute things. He backed her against the wall, and leaned forward. "You know wife, sometimes I wonder if you do this to me deliberately."

"Do what?"

"Well, I wonder," Haruka kept tracing the girls lips. "You do realize by now that your the only one in my eyes, right?"

Lila sighed, "I do know. But, it doesn't make me happy seeing so many girls flock to you. I'm not telling you to be terrible to them, however tone down your kindness please," she placed her hand on her forehead and sighed. "It's become clear to me that you're overstepping things a not with Rikksan."

"Then, I'll not speak to her.."

"That's not it, aaah this doesn't have to be so complicated. So why is it? This isn't the first time you acted this way towards another girl, so what is this..." Lila trailed off. "Is she really that important? Do you still have regrets?"

"What about you? You confessed didn't you?"

"Ah-huh, I told you I would though."

"Lila, do you want to break up?"

At that comment Lila's gaze darkened. "I didn't say anything like that. Sure I may have gone overboard saying that stuff to Kiryu the other day. But, I love you."

"I see."

"You know that right hubby?"

"Mmm, I know my wife loves me the most."

"Ah-huh, you really do know otherwise why else would you be touching me now?"

One of his hands made it's way towards her thighs, Haruka looked at Lila innocently. "Hmm? Just having a feel, wife your always so soft."

Lila rolled her eyes and leaned over to lightly kiss his lips, "Okay silly, quit fooling around."

"Wife, I like fooling around."

"Yes, yes I know you do. Ah! Look crepes!" Lila said happily and left his arms. She rushed up to the crepe stand and before Haruka knew it she was buying some.

'Gee this girl and food.'

"Baby....your tightening up...

Haruka paused, 'Well it seems he isn't the only one who has ideas of doing it at work.'

He leaned against the wall and took out his cigarette. It seems Rikka wants to get back at him. Haruka knew the girl very well by now. She's trying to show him that she's upset. He closed his eyes, this situation has gotten troublesome for him.

Haruka must have drifted of because when he next woke up. Somebody was shaking him, he opened his eyes and saw brunette hair. She was looking at him and frowning. "What were you doing?"

"Waiting for you."

Rikka turned red, her eyes blazed with anger. "If you were there, say so."

"I know, my bad."

"That's my boyfriend."

"Mmm, the rich guy right? He seems to," Haruka recalled the sight he saw earlier, "Treat you very well."

Rikka raised her hand and slapped him, tears welled up from her eyes. "b.a.s.t.a.r.d! Why are you like this..."

"Rikka.."

"Go away, don't follow me today."

Haruka wrapped his arms around her, "Alright, alright. I'm sorry. But, you have to understand things from my point of view. It's difficult for me."

"Were you really not jealous?" Rikka muttered against his chest. "No, did you think I was beautiful?"

"Well, mmm, you're very pretty."

"That sounds so empty, jerk."

"Let's get back to work. Your team will wonder where you went," Haruka patted the girls back and pulled her out of his embrace.

"Haruka, go ahead without me."

"Hm? What's wr-" Haruka glanced over and saw the girl crouch down. He blinked, "I guess Mr boyfriend has some skills."

"Quiet, this is embarra.s.sing."

"Get on my back. I'll help you."

"Huh? I'm not a child."

"Get on already stubborn woman. Or do you want to be late?"

Haruka bent down and felt Rikka climb on his back. Thankfully, not many people were in the hallways. Those who were seemed to be focusing on something else. It wasn't until they arrived at the first floor did Haruka understand. It was something to do with Lila. Kiryu was leaning against the pillar right beside the door he and Rikka entered.

"Do you know where Lila is?" Kiryu questioned.

"Huh? She didn't come meet you?"

"We were supposed to..."

"d.a.m.n, is she with Soichiro again? I told him not to..." Haruka was about to whip out his phone. But then, he saw a gathering crowd from the corner of his eyes. He didn't know what it was, but he got a bad feeling. Haruka apologized to Rikka and put her down. He quickly rushed over to the source of the noise.

The closer he got, the uneasier he became. Eventually, Haruka understood why. Zane had Lila backed against the wall, the girls leg seemed to be bleeding. His eyes widened when he saw the injury and angrily growled. "Zane!"

"Oh, h.e.l.lo there Haruka. You should teach your wife some manners, look how frightening she is."

Haruka gritted his teeth but turned to focus on his wife. However --- silver hair rushed past him. Kiryu was already helping Lila.

"Lila, are you okay? Your hands and legs are bleeding," Kiryu asked concerned.

Lila laughed, "Aha silly, it's okay just a bit of blood."

"Be more careful."

"Thank you Kiryu..."

Kiryu turned to Zane and sent him a harsh glare. "I think we need to have a talk."

Haruka watched as the two walked away. Lila immediately flung to his embrace. He long put Rikka down. So now he could hug his wife.

"Hubby, I was scared! He was bullying me."

Just now, Kiryu reacted before him. Why?

"Hubby?"

He gently scooped up the girl and Lila wrapped her arms around his neck. "I was being bullied, will you pamper me?"

"Yeah, of course."

He turned to Rikka but the girl had already left. Haruka stared at the blank spot for a few minutes and sighed. 'She will scold him later won't she?' He could already imagine it.
