Dream Star 729 I Wanted To Spoil You More

"Hey, that dress would look nice on you." Haruka pointed to one of the shops.

A cute evening dress, it was indeed something she would wear. "I don't have any money," Lila admitted. She did not think they would be gone long today, so she did not bring any cash with her. To avoid being tracked by Zane, Lila tried to avoid using her cards and paid with money. Haruka did the same; for large payments, Haruka used a card her parents gave to him.

It may seem stupid to do this. Zane knows they are in New York. But since n.o.body has attacked them, she can safely a.s.sume that he does not know their exact location.

"Then time to use the in-law's card."

Lila laughed. "You do realize that my father tracks all the things bought on the card, right?"

Even though the money on the card is Harukas, the card is still under her parent's name. So anything they buy with it, her parents can see it. 

"Then, he should understand how well I am treating his daughter." Haruka placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Let me spoil you today."

"You've been spoiling me every day." Lila pointed out as they entered the store. "I have so many new clothes and belongings. I don't know how we will bring everything home."

"Relax, I can rent out a plane for us."

"You know that's too dangerous." Lila trailed off. She is surprised Zane didn't shoot the plane down on their way to New York.

"Not using my money is hard."

"Oh, hush, we are still living in a nice place with good security."

Haruka nodded. "But, I wanted to spoil you more."

"Then, when we get home, listen to my demands."

At that comment, Haruka suddenly halted. "I think we should go home now, wife."

Lila hits his arm lightly. "Don't be so silly."

"But wife, you have demands and needs," Haruka said in a normal voice. However, she could not miss his hidden intentions. Lila noticed his hands on her skirt. "Wife, I think I know what your needs are."

He teases her like this. But Lila understands that when they get home, he won't do anything. Or won't he? Lately, she avoids him whenever they get home. She pretends she is tired, so nothing too intimate happens. Still, she does have her limits. How many months have pa.s.sed since he last touched her? 

"I think we should go home."

Apartment XX

The apartment they bought was in a good area in New York. Lila regretted her decision; the second Haruka brought her over to the bathroom. 

"Lately, you keep escaping from me," Haruka mumbled against her ear. He already took his clothes off, his bare body pressed against hers as he hugged her from the back. 

"I'm not."

"Sure, wife, you don't sound convincing." Haruka pulled her into the tub. The warm water laps around her body.

"Ah- wait my clothes---" Lila's sentence fell short when she felt Haruka's hands on her clothing. He covered her mouth with his. It was a brief kiss, and yet Lila felt very embarra.s.sed.

"Do you think I would break my promise?" Haruka said as he broke their kiss.

"Yes," Lila admitted.

What is stopping him from attacking her when there is n.o.body to stop him? Soichiro was very creepy about his surveillance. But Haruka knew about somebody watching them, and that was why he held himself back. The situation, however, has changed a lot. In this place, there is no Soichiro or no chance of their friends walking in on them; it was just the two of them.

Her thoughts broke off when Haruka cupped her cheeks and suddenly gave her a pa.s.sionate kiss. A pa.s.sionate kiss that involved him using his tongue skillfully. He has kissed her so many times since they went out, but she is still surprised every time. This dummy is too experienced. 

It bothered her a lot before knowing that he learned this skill from other people. But when she thought it through, 'her husband didn't kiss girls he didn't like.' Among all the girls he saw, he only kissed a few. People like Sophia and Rikksan; the first one was due to obligation it seems.

She wonders why no matter how many times they do this, she ends up feeling very embarra.s.sed. Why does this person make her feel this way?

"Haruka…" Lila mumbled against his lips. 

"Well, I won't lie and say I didn't think of it. Look at your reaction when we kiss."

"Dummy."

"But, I won't bear with me for a while longer."

A bit longer? He is slowly driving her crazy with his actions. Why does she have to wait? Lila turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck. She leaned against him, pressing their bare bodies together. "My husband."

"Hmm?" Haruka mumbled. "What's wrong?"

"I want to stay here for a bit longer. But we can't, right?"

"It's fine. I made arrangements already." 

"Really?"

"Yeah."

She likes it here, the two of them can spend time with one another in peace. There are many interesting things here that she has not seen before too. She wants to learn more.

"Hey, did your chest get bigger again?"

Lila sighed. "Dummy, don't be a pervert when we are having a moment."

"I didn't know this was a moment, wife," Haruka said innocently. "Besides, I thought you were seducing me."

"Not seducing, just getting closer to you." She mumbled. "I want to keep getting closer."

Sometimes she feels like all of this is a dream, and she would wake up back in j.a.pan. Lila liked her home country and her hometown. But since she came back, far too many things have happened. There was one conflict after another; she did not get a break, even for a moment.

"I see. What would you like for dinner tonight?"

"Ah! I want you to cook something."

"Hmmm, sure. Want anything in particular?" 

"You can decide."

Haruka caressed her hair. "Alright. I will make you a feast."

She feels so happy when was the last time she felt so peaceful and content? Lila already knew the answer to her question. "Not since London.' Her friends and family mean well. Lila understood their intentions. But n.o.body seems to understand what she wanted this entire time was to stand by Haruka's side, to spend peaceful moments like this.

Haruka gently kissed her forehead. "Are you okay, wife? You seem a bit quiet."

"I was just thinking. I am very happy. I didn't realize how stressed I was before."
