Inside the car, the two ladies were blindfolded by Jaleb as Airis tried to stop him from doing so.

"You can't do this to me!! Do you know who I am? Edward you can't do this to me!!" Airis kept on shouting.

"Don't mind her. Just do it to Nyelle." Edward said.

"There's no need for that. Give me the cloth as I'll do it myself." Nyelle said as she raised one of her hands to accept the cloth. Jaleb looked for confirmation from Edward and with a nod from him, Jaleb handed the cloth to her.

"Why are you so obedient to them?!" Airis shouted at Nyelle.

"It's because I felt guilty for the things I did to Yve. She's not as evil as you portrayed her to be."

"Hmph, not evil your face! Yet she wanted to steal Vince and the company away from me!"

"It was never yours to begin with!" Nyelle shouted back.

"STOP IT!" Edward shouted at the two of them which scared the h.e.l.l out of the two ladies.

Airis looked around and realized that there weren't any building around. Trees and different kinds of shrubs filled the entire place. Not even a single car pa.s.sed them by as it seemed like they're the only people taking down the road.

"Hey, where are you taking us?" Airis asked but this time, fear is evident from her voice and expression.

"Afraid now? How about you try the blindfold to ease you?" Eybelle smirked as she voiced out an opinion.

A person full of pride as she is, she responded with a firm, "NO!"

After a few more minutes they arrived at a gated place. They stopped at the entrance for awhile and as the guard checked their car and showed respect to Edward, they let them in.

'Is this a military base?' Airis thought.

As the car approached the entrance of the building, four other people came.

"Bring them to their respective rooms and initiate the preliminary phase."

"Yes, Sir!" The men answered and drag Nyelle and Airis separately.

Nyelle cooperated well and because of that the men weren't rough with her while Airis was being dragged violently.

"HEY!! What is the initial phase?! Edward you'll pay for this!!" Airis continues to shout as she was being brought to her room.

"Secondo..." Eybelle looked at Edward worriedly.

Edward understood the look on her face so to put her mind at ease, he brushed his hand on top of her head and said, "I'm fine. Her cooperation is calming me a little bit. At least there is a little amount of conscience left inside her."

"Slayne, can you conduct a deeper investigation at Nyelle?" Edward asked which earned a very curious look from everyone.

"What information are you looking for?" Slayne asked.

"Any kind of weakness that Airis might have used against her."

"Okay." Slayne responded and went to his office.

"I'll be in my office too." Jaleb said.

Each member of Team Alpha have their respective office in this building. This is Vince's personal hideout and headquarters whenever he works for the CONFERENCE. The people here are lesser compared to CONFERENCE's base but they're all loyal to Vince. Only the most trusted people are allowed inside. However, it was the first time that they had a prisoner held inside. Vince never used his base for private matters. Mostly, they do the planning and investigation here before announcing it in the main base. This sudden change caused curiosity to everyone.

After putting Nyelle and Airis in their rooms, men and women in the building started to talk about them.

"Why did Primo wanted them tortured?"

"They must have done something so bad to Primo personally."

"I bet that's the case as this has never happened before."

"Now that you mentioned, that's true. First, Primo deployed Team Alpha then brought these women here."

Nyelle and Airis became famous in a short time they just arrived. Meanwhile the women are experiencing the phase one inside their rooms.

Phase one is a psychological attack to break down their defense to obtain answers easier during interrogation. Inside the rooms, the bed, table and chair are painted black while the walls are painted white. Everything can be seen and controlled by the people inside the room beside it. It was just like the interrogation room that you see in the movies. Right now, the phase one means initiating fear and panic. The colors and silence weren't enough, so even the temperature is being controlled. This torture will alert the survival instincts of a person.

The guards thought that they will easily give in but after five hours only one of the ladies is showing the effect they have been waiting. The night is fast approaching outside, but since their rooms didn't have any windows, Nyelle and Airis didn't know how long they have been caged inside.

"I'm willing to answer all of your questions. Just let me go! I need to see my mother!!" Nyelle cried in one corner of the room.

Her guard saw this and sent the footage to Edward who saw this and immediately sent a message to Slayne.

"Investigate her mother."
