This Time You Are Mine 246 Together Tonight 1

"Hmm.. I'm smelling something tasty…" Yve commented as she walked towards her husband who was busy cooking in the kitchen.

"Well, of course. I want nothing but the best for my Queen." Vince turned his head to plant a kiss on Yve's forehead.

"What are you cooking?" Yve asked as she took a peek at the food Vince is cooking.

"Well, I prepared some of your favorites and you're just in time. I just finished the last dish." Vince said as he turned off the heat on the stove.

"You're the best! Is there anything I can do to help?" Yve offered as she continued to follow Vince around.

"There's no need. You can just take a seat and wait for a short while as I serve the last dish." Vince just smiled at her.

Yve kissed one of Vince's cheeks and obeyed him. As she sat down and scanned the food in front of her. As Vince placed the last dish in front of her, she can't help but react in a shocked way.

"You just cooked so much! We can't consume all of this." Yve laughed out loud.

"Then we can keep some of them in the fridge and then eat them in the morning? Cooking a lot at night and reheating the leftovers for breakfast. It's fast and we can make sure to eat food before going to work. Don't you agree?"

"Mr. Gray, you're just trying to defend yourself and justify the fact that you overcooked tonight." Yve smiled at her husband as the man in question just winked at her.

"Okay. you were actually able to convince me. Now let's dig in and enjoy our dinner." Yve suggested and began placing the dishes on her plate.

While eating dinner, Vince steals glances at his wife who enjoys the food he has just cooked.

"Queen, I saw you looked so serious inside the study room. Is there anything wrong with the company or your studies?" Vince plainly asked his Queen while concealing his concerned emotions.

"Well, a little. There's this big award giving body. The list of nominees will be finalized a month from now…."

Yve talks to Vince on the current issue on SkyMu as Vince attentively listens to his Queen.

"So what is the problem now? The plan is quite unique and interesting. It's worth executing." Vince commented.

"A compet.i.tor released a video which looked similar to what we are about to release next week. From my perspective we can't release the same thing. We would be accused of imitating them." Yve answered.

"You came out from the study room without being called. Does that mean you have thought of an idea? of a new plan?" Vince looked at his wife now interestingly.

"I did. However, I'm still not sure if this will work." Yve cleaned her face as she answered Vince.

"Care to tell me your idea?"

"Instead of releasing a vlog per artist every week, I might divide the artists in our label into three kinds - singing, acting and dancing. Singers and dancers can try acting while actors would do otherwise."

"That would be a good idea but how will you make it possible?"

"I want it to be like A day in the life of another artist from the company."

"How do you plan to set it out and show the fairness of the procedure of exchange?" Vince asked.

"I haven't thought about it. Maybe I can ask help from my staff."

"Okay, your idea is quite good and it would be effective especially for some of your artists who are stereotyped by their recent projects." Vince gave his feedback.

"Thanks. Now, let's clean this up and we can continue to talk about other things." Yve said and stood up to start cleaning the dishes.

"Okay. Let me do the dishes and you can just wipe the table." Vince said.

"No, no, no. I will help you with the dishes, too. You already cooked the food. Let me do more than wiping the table. Please?" Yve responded and acted cute as Vince tried to get the plates from her and to keep her away from the sink.

Yve won the discussion and helped Vince clean up the kitchenware and utensils they used. Vince opened a wine and served it in the living room where Yve is playing the piano.

"Is that an original composition?" Vince asked.

"Yup." Yve smiled as she took a sip gestured Vince to sit beside her.

"So it's your turn now. How is Mom? I mean where is she?"

"She's medically fine and went to her place upon arriving. But I'm not sure psychologically." Vince honestly answered.

"What do you mean?"

"The tests are cleared but as for her mental health, counselling sessions are needed but she declined. We got into an argument about it earlier."

"You know Mom, Vince, she has the same tenacity as you."

"I know but I'm just worried. I just want to make sure she's really okay before she returns to work." Vince explained his thoughts and frustration is quite obvious from his tone.

"Okay, just calm down. I'll find time to talk to Mom about it. If there's a need for me to accompany her, I would not mind." Yve offered.

"Thank you." Vince hugged her wife and Yve did the same.

"By the way, can I ask about the people behind it?"

"The people who took her were taken care of but as for the mastermind, I want to handle him with my own hands.

"King…" Yve holds Vince's hands tightly before continuing,

"I don't want you to dirty your hands. Can you not leave it to the authorities? I know with your power as a gang leader, you can easily deal with it in a darker way but..." Yve expressed her sentiment on the matter.

"Don't worry. As the men who did the evil action are dealt with the same way, I will also deal with the mastermind behind the shadows, just like him." Vince eased his wife and ma.s.saged her hair.

"That's good, then." Yve hugged Vince tighter.

"Queen, I was quite shocked you decided to move back while I was away. Do you have any reason for that?" Vince curiously asked his wife staying in their sweet position, Vince caressing his wife's hair while Yve hugging him tightly sitting in front of the piano.
