This Time You Are Mine 250 Edward's Cover-Up 2

Reaching the office 10 minutes earlier than the usual, Yve rushed towards Sylvan's office. As she opened the door, Sylvan is busy listening to the site visit. Yve requested Sylvan to let her take over the support. Sylvan gave the device to her.

 "Edward, it's me. Just relax as I got your back." Yve introduced herself and got a whispered response from Edward.

"Thanks."

As Edward and Vince arrived at the actual display site, Yve can hear the staff greeting the gentlemen as well as giving reports. Then suddenly, Vince dropped a question.

"Where did you get this idea? It's quite unique and I never heard this kind of design used in malls?"

"Sir, it was from Ms…"

"I got the idea from our meetings for the hotel." Edward intersected just in time.

The bare idea of the proposal came from Yve and she really got it from their meetings in the hotel. The staff was about to mention her name and luckily Edward was so alert to her a.s.sistance.

"So I guess with this project, the entrepreneurs will see the connection between Gray Group and Stones. Great job!" Vince complemented and continued walking to other areas.

 "Are we right on schedule?" Vince asked.

"Yes, sir. As we have written in the report we are quite ahead and with your permission we can have weekends off and just have the meeting according to our previous schedule." The staff answered confusing Vince.

"Reports? Weekend meeting?" Vince looked at Edward making both Yve and Edward nervous. Sylvan was quick enough to print the reports and hand them over to her.

"Edward just try to answer those questions. I will read the reports in the meantime." Yve instructed Edward.

"As soon as I arrived, I had them on my list. This will direct the attention of the open enemy as well as the spies." Edward whispered to Vince.

"I understand the project but what's with the reports and once a week site visit and on a weekend?" Vince asked once more.

"I wasn't able to fix my schedule yet so I have no choice. But I will be able to fix it soon, especially now that you're back." Edward responded.

Vince seemed satisfied and walked back to the staff and just when Edward thought he can breathe again, Vince turned around.

"You know what Ed?"

"What?"

"This whole project doesn't seem like you. You have been my secretary and ever since but something is really different." Vince commented.

"I want to try something new, like diversity. Is it that bad?" Edward asked.

"Not exactly. As long as you can still deliver results and it will not affect your other responsibilities, your free to do so."

"Thanks for your patience, Ed. I have read the reports for the day. Now you can go back to the staff. I'll back you up." Yve stated.

Luckily, Vince didn't ask any questions. They walked around the entire area with their Boss looking around.

"Thank you for the job well done. I want to ask you to continue until we finally finish this project. That will be all for this visit. Thank you for accommodating me." Vince concluded the site visit and left the team to continue their work.

Yve, Sylvan and Edward were able to relax.

"Thanks, Edward!" Yve said through the device.

Edward whispered, "Thanks for the support and you're welcome."

The communication device was turned off. On cue, Yve received a text message from Vince.

"I'm about to go home. Where are you?"

"I'm still at the office. But I'll be home in time for dinner."

"So, it's my turn to cook. What do you want to eat?"

"Any simple dish is fine. I know you're also tired from work. "

"Okay."

After the exchange, Sylvan looked at his tired Lady Boss. School, SkyMu, project for Stones and being a wife, these tasks aren't easy but I salute her for doing a great job juggling around. Yve stood from his desk and pa.s.sed him. Then she turned around,

"Sylvan, I'll be doing some tasks in my office but help me make sure to leave the office just in time for dinner at the house." Yve instructed.

Seeing the man nod in recognition, Yve headed to her office and saw the pending papers and folders she needed to read and sign. As expected of Sylvan, they were arranged well according to urgency. But instead of picking up a folder, she opened her computer first and launched a music program. She listened to some of the songs and tunes she manually recorded using the piano at home. It made her feel calm.

She closed her eyes and reminisce the things that happened recently. From the time she saw Vince back and they returned in each other's arms. She also met his mother and had her revenge on her step family. Then they got married, held a wedding. Now, she's multi-tasking. Things became really busy ever since she got back with Vince.

"Not like I'm complaining, heavens. It's fun and balanced and all, but I wish to rest for a few days. " Yve said to herself as she touch the frame on her desk.  The picture was taken from their wedding day.

She smiled as she recalled the sweet memories they both shared in the short time they got married.

"Once the busy time is over, let's go on a vacation. What do you say, Mr. Gray?" Yve spoke to the picture as if it was really her husband in front of her.

After feeling down and tired, listening to her own music and talking to her husband gave her the push that she needs to check the papers. Yve finally picked the folder on top.

"First on the list is to finish this preparation for the nomination and invitation."

As Yve read through the folders in her office, Vince found himself in the grocery store with Edward.

"Bro, seriously?! You will really shop for food on your own?" Edward commented as he picked the pack of pork, Vince asked the staff to pack earlier.

"Yve is staying a bit late in the office to work on some papers. Besides, I also invited Mom to eat with us tonight. You can say I'm the person with the least schedule among the three." Vince responded as he chooses between two different cans of pineapple.

"Really? Bro, your schedule is also full!"

"Edward, it's not all the time. Yve and I have an agreement that whoever finishes work first will cook dinner for that day. Which should I choose pineapple tidbits or chunks?"

Edward looks over at the ingredients they already placed on their cart before giving an answer.

"Well, if you're cooking adobo then pineapple tidbits would be a better choice."

"Thanks." Vince said as he placed a can in the cart.

The two gentlemen continue their grocery shopping as Vince looks through the shopping list he just saved a few minutes ago.

 "I commend you for doing all these things, Bro." Edward complimented his cousin.

"I think you're in the right track. You will soon do this." Vince joked and the cousins laugh as the people around them are fantasizing the handsome pair.
