This Time You Are Mine 292 Hyacinth Vs. H&E 1

"No… Dad that is not true…. No… No… Dad, NO!!!!" 

Vince hears Yve's voice shouting from his bedroom making him run towards her. He wakes Yve up and hugs her.

"Yve, Yve… wake up!" 

Yve wakes up, sees Vince and without delay, she hugs him. Without saying anything, Vince just brushes his hand on Yve's back. 

"You're sweating so you should change. Let me get another s.h.i.+rt from the cabinet." When Vince is about to get up, Yve pulls him back and tightens her grip on his s.h.i.+rt, crumples the section. 

"Okay, I'll stay." Vince hugs her back as Yve's sobs turns calmer. 

Once Yve has fully calmed down, Vince asks the question,

"What was it about?"

"I dreamt my Dad. He was not happy with my decision earlier."

"About Stones?"

"Hmm..." 

"You know it's not true. Your dad loves you so much and understands what you want. He will support you all the way." 

"I know that." Yve wipes her tears. "But in my dream, he seems really unhappy and I had no idea that it was a dream." 

"Shh… just forget that. Promise me it will not affect your decision, understood?"

"Hmm…" 

"I honestly like your wet look underneath my s.h.i.+rt but now isn't the right time. So let me get another s.h.i.+rt from the cabinet." Vince teases Yve just to help her forget the nightmare she just had.

Soon after Vince returns with another white polo s.h.i.+rt and hands it over to Yve. 

"Do you want to go home or sleep here for the night? I have given instructions to Eybelle regarding your necessities."

"Are you finished with your work?" 

"Well, you can say that. I'm checking some reports from the group." 

"Group. You mean CONFERENCE?"

"Hmm…"

"Then let's just stay here. You can finish whatever you're reading and besides you can sleep and wake up the soonest." Yve replies as she walks into the bedroom's changing area.

Even if Vince doesn't like the idea of Yve being reminded that he's leading an underground group, he makes sure that he's honest with her. They have talked about it and both of them compromised. Yve is taking baby steps into openly sharing her thoughts and doubts so he knows he is expected of the same. However, he is also thankful that Yve doesn't ask too much about his group because he certainly doesn't know how to explain it. 

Night engulfs all of them as the fateful day excites most of the citizens of the city.

Netizens wake up early and are overwhelmed by Hyacinth's sudden announcement of her personal stream before her video is released. Most of her fans posted it on their social media informing variety of audience. Hu0026E counters this announcement by releasing a set of artists they might see for a fan meeting with informing their fans. 

Yve and Steve have both expected these announcements from their fellow compet.i.tor. However, Yve is fully prepared as there are still a number of promotions for Hyacinth specifically. This is her way of making up and everything is only known to Yve, Hyacinth and her manager. Steve is planning to reveal all the needed information bits by bits and to entice people.

"Queen, wake up. Eybelle and Sylvan are already here." Vince wakes up his wife who's still sleeping beside him. 

"Hmmm…"

"You have a site visit, but if you want to sleep I can tell Sylvan to cancel it."

"No, don't do that. I only meet them once a week and they deserve to be rewarded for their hard work." Yve smiles and finally sits on the bed. 

"Slayne has cooked breakfast for us and Sylvan is reheating them." 

"Hmm… then let me go wash up first." 

The couple proceeds with their morning routine and eats breakfast silently. Slayne prepared egg, hotdog and fried rice for them which were paired with hot choco and coffee courtesy of Sylvan. 

"Where will you watch Hyacinth's video?" 

"I'm planning to support her interview tonight which will be released tomorrow. " Yve simply replies.

"You will not watch it?"

"I'll watch it on the road because the time coincides with Mom's therapy." 

"What time will it be?" 

"I'm going to meet mom at the clinic's entrance at one in the afternoon. Why? Will you accompany her as well?"

"Yes, I'll pick you up at the mall then let's go together. She's my mother and I need to know her current condition. " Vince casually replies as he helps his wife put on her coat. 

After Yve double checks her things for the day, Vince decided to walk her out to the office where Sylvan is already waiting for her with Eybelle following in the shadows. 

As Yve is on her way to her first schedule, Hyacinth's and Hu0026E's announcements intensify the atmosphere as they make it to early morning news on television. Newspapers also published articles filled with guesses and opinions on their face-off in a few hours. 

Vince, on the other hand, informs Team Bravo to put their diversion into action. As fast as they are, Steve receives a call from his company overseas. 

"What do you mean the schedule is moved? They can't just move it with a snap of a finger!" Steve shouts at the person he is talking on the phone startling the people in front of him. 

At the moment, he is supervising their first response to the trending stream that SkyMu did last weekend. However, the vice president of one of his companies overseas has just informed him that the final bidding for a construction project has been moved a month earlier. That means he barely has two weeks to check their proposal. Steve immediately excuses himself and let his secretary take over as he deals with the emergency at hand. 

"Now, let's see Steve. You want to defeat me using Stones Enterprise as a path and SkyMu as the first base? Well you a.n.a.lyzed everything wrongly." Vince smirks as he read the message from their spy that Steve has stormed out of the meeting room to focus on the call.
