This Time You Are Mine 311 Home Date

Vince didn't mention about Yve's short breakdown earlier during their conversation with the doctor. He decided to observe Yve first as it's indeed normal to feel scared at times under attack. They are now on the way to a restaurant after Yve asked Maddie to eat dinner with them. Vince just agrees with the suggestion to make both ladies comfortable. According to the doctor, Maddie still can't finish narrating the sequence that happened during her kidnapping. On the good side though, she's more open on the events that she was scared after the tragic experience.

In the middle of their dinner, Vince receives a call from Edward. However, Vince looks at Yve seeking for permission to answer the call. 

"Son, working hours are way over." Maddie warns her son time and time.

"Mom, it's fine. I know he had an important meeting but he cancelled it for me." Yve defends her husband before looking at Vince to give her approval.

As Vince answers the call, Edward reports the events which happened with the investors' meeting. He also informs Vince of their request as well as the possibility that they're only interested in investing on SkyMu.

"Got it, Bro. Thank you for covering up for me. I'll ask for Yve's opinion first."

"But if she will do that, she will be known."

"Which is why I will give her the final decision for this crucial meeting." Vince responds to Edward.

"Now, I will not disturb your family time any longer. I also have a date to go to." Vince can imagine the blush on Edward's face before ending the phone call. 

Vince returns to the table and finishes the meal with his mother and wife before driving Maddie back to the hotel and finally arriving home.

True to what Edward had informed Vince, he arrives at Nyelle's apartment and greets the hidden guards before knocking on the door.

"You're just in time for dinner." Nyelle exclaims as she opens the door for the latter.

"I brought some popcorn and cola for movie later." Edward shows the plastic bags he brought.

"Perfect! Now just get inside and make yourself comfortable. I will set the table so we can eat."

"No, let me help you instead." Edward removes his coat and tie and hangs them at the sofa before folding his sleeves while walking to the kitchen. 

Their division of duties is totally in-sync. Nyelle places the dishes to plates as Edward puts them on the table. While they are doing the ch.o.r.es, Edward shares a little on how his day went. Nyelle also shares her piece.

"I'm a bit curious on how Slayne learned to cook magnificent dishes when he's busy with leading the team and the base while you and Vince are busy." Nyelle asks Edward as they start to eat. 

"When they were first adopted by Vince, Eybelle is a very small girl so she was the last one to be part of the dark side of the group. She also used to have a weaker body thus Slayne took it up to himself to prepare healthier food for them." Edward explains.

"Is he the eldest?"

"Nope. It's actually Sylvan but you know how he is. Sylvan is responsible and caring but quite aloof. Slayne is next to him." 

"Hmm… I see. By the way, I learned some of these dishes from Slayne. He's a really good cook."

"That's why the taste is quite familiar. Good job!" Edward compliments the food.

"I downloaded two movies – a sci-fi, action movie and a spy, intelligence kind. Which one do you want to watch first?" Nyelle asks as they finish eating.

"Up to you. I can clean these all up and wash the dishes then you can set up the mini-theater." Edward offers.

And once again, they divide the tasks making all the tasks easier and faster. By the time Nyelle finishes preparing for the movie, Edward is already was.h.i.+ng the dishes.

"Should I cook the popcorn right now?" Nyelle asks.

"Hmm… Naah. I don't think so. I'm still full. Maybe after the first movie." Edward replies after wiping his hands. 

He then guides Nyelle towards the living room. They sit on the sofa and after pressing the b.u.t.ton, the movie starts playing. Nyelle is so focused on watching the movie while Edward is sometimes sneaking a look on her just to see her reaction. The lady would smile when some of the characters will give out some jokes. When the scenes get too intense for her comfort, she will hold onto Edward's arm and tightens the grip on him. Edward will smile when she smiles and will act indifferent even when her grip is hurting him a little. 

Once the first movie is over, Nyelle heads to the comfort room. As for Edward, he heads to the kitchen to cook the popcorn in accordance to what they have agreed earlier. Edward noticed another side of Nyelle while watching the first movie. In all honesty, when he heard the genre Nyelle picked, he thought she's a hardcore strong and cool woman. But after seeing her reactions earlier, she's cool and strong alright but like any other woman, she laughs and cries and deserves to be protected.

"Ed? Where are you?" Nyelle asks as her steps get closer to him.

"I'm in the kitchen." Edward answers just in time for Nyelle to see him.

"Oh… You remembered the popcorn." 

"Of course, I did. Do want it with cheese, b.u.t.ter or barbecue flavored?" Edward offers as he shows them the different flavored powders he bought."

"Hmm… maybe some with cheese but majority with salt." 

"Roger that." Edward gets a different bowl and divides the popcorn in accordance to Nyelle's request. When Edward finishes, Nyelle gets the smaller bowl filled with cheese flavored popcorn while Edward carries the salted one.

They watch the second movie. This time, Edward is the focused one between the two. He is hooked up with the storyline. The table has turned and it's Nyelle's turn to observe his reactions. This is really a first for Nyelle to observe Edward's face up-close. She likes how the latter would show small facial reaction with the scenes flash on the screen.

'He can also look cute. Him liking spy movies is to be expected especially with his other profession as the mafia group's right-hand man.' Nyelle silently comments and takes note to download more spy movies for their future movie nights. 

Then the movie has come to an end with Edward still talking on how exciting it was. Nyelle just laughs at the man and just listens to all his feedback. 

"We should do this more often, Ed."

"Yeah, we should. I'll try my best to give time for this. But I should probably get going for now. It's quite late." Edward stands up and starts wearing his coat and places his tie in his pocket.

"Good night, Ed. Thanks for coming."

"Good night, too. Sweet dreams. Thanks for the delicious dinner." They bid each other farewell just outside the apartment. Before leaving though, Edward plants a gentle kiss on the forehead making the woman's face flush red. 

Edward's subordinates see the whole sweetness thing uncover in front of them but they keep their comments to themselves.

'We don't want to get scolded by Secondo.' They are all thinking the same thing. Even if this scene is like a diamond to them and a once in a lifetime opportunity, they also have one life to care for and they don't want to jeopardize it in the hands of their second commander.
