This Time You Are Mine 330 Surprise Event 1

Yve and Nyelle have finished planning and are now busy calling Sylvan and Edward using their respective phones. In Nyelle's conversation with Edward, she finds out that Vince has meetings lined up for him until 9PM which somehow she finds great. Yve requests Sylvan to make the necessary reservations for the event. However there's one problem. It's already 6PM and with all the traffic all over the city, they will not make to the hotel before Vince does. She also needs to drop by their house to change her clothes.

"I know how to make it possible. I can request a deployment of the helicopter to your location. I'll have someone else pick your car." Edward offers while Sylvan offers to pick them up from their location. 

Hearing the offers from the two men, Yve expresses her grat.i.tude and tells them to proceed with the plan. To make her plan a better one, she calls on her mother-in-law to seek her help.

"Of course, dear. I'll be happy to help you in any way I can.��� Maddie happily accepts the request. 

"I'll just send you a text message once I'm on my way back then you can call Vince." 

"Sure." 

The phone call ends just in time for Eybelle to inform them that food is ready. Seeing how giddy that two ladies look, they must have accomplished and made the necessary preparations. 

"We should eat earlier so you can return to the city." Eybelle tells them.

"How did you know that we're going back sooner?" Yve curiously asks the young lad because she wasn't in the room when we're talking about the plans they have for Vince.

"Instinct? You seemed calm and happier than a few moments earlier. I figured that you might have solved your problem and would want to go to back." Eybelle explains to avoid further misunderstanding as what she can see from the looks her Lady Boss is throwing at her.

"I see. I forget that you're still part of Team Alpha and all of you are really sharp at observing things." Yve erases all the doubts she just had and smiles as she walks out of the music room.

Eybelle cooked a very simple yet delicious meal. It has corn and mushroom soup, chopseuy and and a marinated pork chop. Eybelle also made very refres.h.i.+ng lemonade.

"I also made some desserts if you like." Eybelle informs them as the two ladies start eating the dishes on the table.

"What kind of dessert did you made? I don't remember buying any ingredients for one?" Nyelle asks Eybelle.

"Just an egg pudding. I used the remaining resources from the dishes." Eybelle replies to Nyelle but also notices the curiosity on Yve's eyes.

While eating, the three ladies continue to talks about small things such as Eybelle's hobby on making desserts and pastries and the possibility of her teaching them how to make some of them. Just then, the sound of the helicopter is heard from the house. It's still a little far away. They use the time to clean the table and wash the dishes. Nyelle also heads to the living room to remove all the appliances they used for the short movie marathon from where they were plugged and put them back in place. Then as the sound of the helicopters gets louder and stable, they heard knocks on the door. 

"I'll get it first, just to make sure." They heard Eybelle said before hearing people murmuring just in front of the door. 

A few more minutes and they find themselves on air back to the city. Yve remembers to send a text message to Maddie as what they have talked about earlier. 

Back in the city, Vince has just finished his last meeting for the day and thinks of working in the office until late when his phone rings.

"h.e.l.lo?"

"Son? Can you join me for dinner tonight? But I was hoping to have you to myself alone tonight." Maddie acts as if she hadn't heard a thing from Yve. She has an idea that the usual loving and sweet couple had a fight and this time, it could be Yve's fault which is the reason for her daughter-in-law's plan to make it up to her son. 

Vince hears his mother's voice on the phone. With full knowledge that his wife will not be back by dinner and with their argument this morning, eating with his mother might be a good change of pace. 

"That would be possible tonight. Where and when do you want our dinner to be?"

"The top floor restaurant where I'm staying at around 9PM."

"Okay… But Mom, don't you think the time is a little bit late for dinner?" 

"I still have some meetings to attend to and I was thinking you might also have yours." Maddie tries to salvage the plan by making an excuse.

"Well, somehow you got it right. Then I'll see you later then, Mom." 

Vince knows that his mother understands him pretty well but for her to ask for a very late dinner, it makes him wonder on what his mother is really thinking. Nevertheless, he already promised his mother to be there.

With our ladies, they have safely arrived at the park a few blocks away from the estate. Sylvan is already there waiting for them. 

"Thanks for coming, Sylvan." 

"Anytime, Young Madam." 

After the short conversation, Yve turns quiet and stares at the houses and lights they pa.s.s by. Nyelle notices the sudden change in mood of her best friend. She understands that Yve might be feeling nervous about the surprise they just planned. 

"Yve everything will be fine. Just freely express yourself and you'll be fine." Nyelle comforts her tensed best friend. 

"Yeah, I know. It has to be okay or else I don't know what I will do." Yve casually replies and stares once more. 

'You can do this, Yve! It was your fault this time so it's up to you to make it up to him. You know he deserves nothing less of what he gives.' She encourages herself as their car approaches the house. 

'Now time for the surprise, Yve!'
