This Time You Are Mine 87 Celebratory Dinner

The music video launch and the live performance of Hyacinth were the talk of the town. The top trending topics were all about it. One can say that with this comeback, Hyacinth achieved an all-kill status yet the PR isn't finish with making more noise. Hyacinth's fans will receive more in the coming days as her bashers will be given no chance to speak.

Hyacinth is now on the backstage getting a little bit of rest after her performance. She has to admit, she's still thinking about the stage she had today. Yve really makes everything possible. Plus she heard that Yve decided to gather the people who helped this entire project as a success to a dinner tonight.

"I must show my grat.i.tude to her, tonight." Hyacinth said.

At the Star Village, Yve is getting ready for the celebratory dinner. Jaleb will drive her towards the Hotel while Sylvan and the rest of the staff will be at the restaurant waiting. Vince reserved the entire restaurant in Bell Cozy Hotel and Resort for tonight's celebratory dinner.

"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" Vince asked.

"I'll be fine. Jaleb is coming with me. Sylvan will meet me there and after all, it's your hotel. Nothing will go wrong." Yve said as she check her final look at the mirror.

For this dinner, she decided to go with a tight dress just to ease the corporate atmosphere. She's now wearing a black sleeveless dress with flora designs. The frills in the skirt gives an approachable feeling while the white 3/4 sleeve coat entails an executive look.

"What do you think?" Yve said as she continue to doubt herself.

"You look fine. Even though, I would like it better if you removed the coat but it's cold out there and you might get sick." Vince said as he hugged her from behind resting his head on the her shoulder.

"Don't forget to call me when you get there and when you are about to go home, okay?"

"Yes, Sir." Yve answered as she put her hands over Vince's embrace.

"If you feel tired after the dinner, just check in my room in the hotel and inform Sylvan, okay?"

"Hmm." Yve continued to answer to Vince's request.

She turned to look at him and embraced him. With her head leaning on Vince's chest, she said,

"I know you're worried about me with everything that happened but I don't want you to compromise and neglect your other responsibilities. Knowing that I have you at my back is a great help for me."

Vince smiled and kiss Yve's temple. A loud horn outside informed the lovebirds that it was time for them to leave. Jaleb is already downstairs waiting for Yve to come down. As soon as Yve appeared, Jalab opened the door of the car's backseat.

The trip to the hotel and resort was smooth sailing but little did Yve knew that Vince was just behind trailing their car. Vince decided to see the video footage of Nyelle sabotaging today's big event. He just had to make sure that it was really Nyelle. After all, his Queen had enough of betrayal she can receive in this lifetime.

Vince already told Jaleb to park their car in his reserved parking slot as the CEO and use the VIP elevator to go to the restaurant. He will use the common facilities instead.

Yve opened the door to the restaurant but saw no one. Everything was prepared but not a single staff was there. She looked worried and turned to face Jaleb.

"I will call Sylvan. Just wait here for awhile." Jaleb was about to turn around when Yve stopped him.

"Don't leave me here all alone. Just call Sylvan from where you are." Yve said and Jaleb felt her hand tremble while securing him in his place.

'Thought so. Primo was right. She's trying to put a tough front to avoid causing trouble for him. But deep inside, she was traumatized by the near death experiences she had.' Jaleb thought. It was even enough for him to think that Yve might feel safer if it was their Primo whose guarding her.

"Okay, miss."

Hearing the fear from their boss, the entire staff of SkyMu, who are hiding behind, decided to stop their surprise.

"Ms. Yvory, we're here!" The head of the PR team, PD team and IT team came walking towards here with a bouquet of flowers. They handed it to Yve who is startled by the series of events.

"We were supposed to give you a surprise but seeing the worried look on your face, we decided not to." Hyacinth said.

"No need for surprises. Seeing you all with a smile of accomplishment and relief is enough for me. Besides tonight isn't for me, but for all of you."

Out of nowhere, Sylvan came and handed Yve a gla.s.s of champagne while the rest received their respective gla.s.ses from the waiters.

"Thanks, Sylvan." Yve said and raised her gla.s.s.

"Cheers to our hard work and to more exciting and successful projects in the future!" Yve said.

"CHEERS!!" Her staff answered in glee and drank a sip.

Hyacinth raised her gla.s.s and said, "Cheers to the new president of SkyMu and to her brilliant yet caring ideas!"

Yve blushed at Hyacinth's complement and wasn't able to raise her gla.s.s but the rest of the staff did and emptied their gla.s.ses. Truly, her dad is right. A company's greatest a.s.set is its people. It hasn't been a month since Yve took over the company yet her staff appreciated all the hard work she put into this project. It made her so blessed and happy.

Jaleb and Sylvan behind knew that these were tears of joy and that she truly deserved it. Now, they both worry on how will Yve accept the betrayal that her best friend did.

"Where is Primo?" Jaleb whispered to Sylvan.

"In his office. He's checking the footage as well as the report." Sylvan answered.

"What report?"

"I doubted Nyelle from the first day I worked in the office and asked one of our members to investigate."

"And?"

"Let's hope that Ms. Yvory will be able to accept it and that Primo will not destroy Nyelle with anger." Sylvan said.

Jaleb instantly understood that Nyelle wasn't just an ordinary mole. She must have done other things to Yve. However, the worst is yet to come as Vince reads the report and prepares to watch the video.
