Shun still in great confusion. How did a photo of Ca.s.sandra save on his phone?

"Do you have any information on the one who returns my phone?" he asked Riley. 

"Nothing. But if you want me to run an investigation, then I will ask someone to look at the cameras around the hospital."

"I'm just thinking if the person who found my phone knows Ca.s.sandra. Or this person just tried to take a picture using my phone, coincidence Ca.s.sandra caught by the camera. Whatever will be, there is no doubt. It is Ca.s.sandra and I want to know the truth," he stated.

His heart pounding frantically. How is it possible that she's alive? He cannot contend with the joy that confounds his chest.

Riley and Meisha glanced at each other. Suddenly, Shun's face lightens up. In mere seconds, he transformed. His gloomy aura replaces with enthusiasm.

So, this is Ca.s.sandra Syndrome? Riley thought. She is a great effect in Shun's mood. This girl now becomes a highly important case for her. Daichi meets her already, but she's a kid by then, according to him. 

"Shun, I need to know everything that's on your mind right now." She places a bunch of photos on the table. "Can't you really remember anything?" Riley pointed out the photos.

His jaw fell open and eyes grew wider upon seeing the photos. 

"What the heck, Shun?" Meisha, on the other hand, it also shocked him as much as Shun.  "Are these real?" he turned to Riley, waving photos of Shun and Ca.s.sie kissing inside the plane.

"Those are the images the Air France sent me," her reply to Meisha. Riley glanced at Shun then said, "The airlines don't want to hand out any files, but since you are a Crow, they cannot disappoint the Chairman." 

Shun amazed by these facts. Being a Crow could gain power and manipulates the world. He ponders on something.

How do he and Ca.s.sandra have been together since from Paris? To base the pictures, they were like going on a honeymoon. They were extremely intimate in all these photos.

His face burning and fl.u.s.tered. In the pictures, either he and Ca.s.sandra hugging each other, they were kissing, like for real! 

Isn't she just turned 15, at this time? How could he kiss her when she's underage? This caused his heart fluttering crazily.

But why he can't recall anything? Is he like sleepwalking? Or a mystery case like someone possesses his body and do things he has no awareness with? Which one is accurate to his perception?

Shun a.n.a.lyzing the images. Truly that he seated beside Ca.s.sandra and during the whole flight is a lot of kissing between them.

He reached his lips and feel them. Then these means, he already got a taste of these beautiful lips? He turns red by his thoughts.

"Ahem!" Riley takes Shun's attention as he seems lost in his world. "Also, these are from the streets of Chiba. They spotted you in a few stores, and then in a train, and around Kyoto district," she went on.

He took the photos that place on the table. It astounded him. They were even wandering around Chiba prefecture. 

So, he and Ca.s.sandra have intimacy even in public? No way!

His heart sighed... Ahh, she's very beautiful.

He felt like crying to know that she's alive. The tears he held up now freely flowing down from his eyes. She was too near, and yet he cannot comprehend how this happens? 

Now he learns that Ca.s.sandra is alive, he needs to find her. But first, he has to know everything, since from the very beginning before the Young died.

According to the police reports, the whole family died in that s.h.i.+pwrecked three years ago. Many bodies they haven't found. So, they considered that Landon, Hannah, and Ca.s.sandra had died.

But why there is a girl look exactly like Ca.s.sandra also is about the same age. It seems he has to ask someone.

Shun made hasty steps toward the exit gate of this airport.

Last night after his meetings with their j.a.panese a.s.sociates, Shun flew to Mainland City. Waste no time, he called Rudolf before that and requested him to find any information about Ca.s.sandra. 

Rudolf has been working at the Crow Corporation in the Singapore branch, and Meisha goes back to their Hawaii branch hotel.

"Shun!" Daichi waving his right hand. He received a phone call from Shun last night, asking to pick him up early morning today. But he must keep it a secret. Confused, he doesn't ask further.

"How are things here?" he asked Daichi after they settled in, and Daichi drove the car.

"Everything is just becoming worse. I often cross the government officials who are members of the Mafia a.s.sociation. I doubt if your uncle, I mean Chairman Crow, aware of how messed up this country as a lot of illegal activities happens to his hotel."

"My gang often clashed with them around the city, and the police sided them instead even if we are in the right. I hardly keep my standing, but I won't let them rule this country with their interest. If only I have enough power to crush them without caring for the unfair law, I will do it! But they run this country, Shun." Daichi smashed the steering wheel.

"Gather your men, I need you all soon."

"For what? Are you plotting something, Shun?"

"Yes."

"How unusual of you? I mean, you have likely forgotten us, actually."

"She's alive."

"What? Who's alive?" Daichi glanced at his direction.

Shun pa.s.sed a few photos. After Daichi had a glimpse of the pictures, he suddenly hit the brake.

"Missy is alive?" hysterically, he reacted.

"I just learned it yesterday, that's why I made this trip. Also, I already asked Rudolf to do something for me."

"Okay. Is it related to Missy?"

Shun nodded.

"Wow! Still, I can't believe that Missy is alive! I want to see her soon! Let's find her, Shun!"

He nodded. "Yes. We will gather all the information that could point to her. I am praying to find her sooner."

"Don't worry. I will order my men to find any information they could gather around."

"Thank you, Daichi."

"Shees.h.!.+ Who are you? Look! The hair on my arm is all rising, for you acting like a stranger!" Daichi showed his right arm, then put back on the steering wheel, and kept driving.

Shun smiled. Daichi hasn't changed at all. He's glad to have a friend like him.

After an hour, Daichi parked his car outside a particular house in this real estate, outside the central city. 

A beautiful woman on her fifties opened the door and was in great surprise upon recognizing her visitor.

"Shun! Is that you?" the woman's eyes widen, tears threaten to fell. She strides closer to Shun and hugs him.

"Auntie Kaye," he patted her back. She is one of those who always sending messages to him, reminding how he should stay strong as Blaire, his real sister still there, needed him. 

"Is Uncle Andrew still home?" he asked afterward.

"Yes, Shun." Kaye parted from him and dried her eyes. "Come on in! They were on the dining table, having breakfast. Join us."

"Thank you, Aunt Kaye!" Daichi who answered, and steps inside the house, leaving Shun behind.

Well, this guy is like an extended family to Lawrence's since Dana is working with them, and he became very close friends to Lawrence's boys. He acted like at his own house and doesn't need invitations.

"h.e.l.lo!"

"Brother Daichi!" The Lawrence siblings delighted to see him.

"Look who's with me?" he pointed his back.

They were keenly watching behind him, and as the same reactions of their mother, they all got surprised.

"Brother Shun!"

Everybody runs toward him, felt glad to see him once again. Andrew, who remains on his seat, he observed quietly. It seems, there is a change with Shun. He doesn't like depressed anymore.

"Hey, why I haven't treated this kind of welcome greeting when I visited you all?" Daichi complains.

"Why we will be? We already sick seeing your face every other day," Kier blurted out.

Everyone laughs, including Shun.

"Oi, Kier! You are hurting my feelings!" he accuses him. "Wait, why are you here?"

Kier pushed upward his left eyebrow. "Huh? This is my home, typically I was here. But you are just an intruder," he retorted philosophically.

"Eh! You meanie!"

Everyone laughs again, and the dining hall filled with more laughter.

Shun smiled. How many years did he distance himself from everyone?

Instead, he locked himself and lived in his dreary world which what he could only remember, is the four sides of his bedroom inside the Williams facility for how many years? Until then, he still has his grudge to the facility.

And after the death of the Young family, all he sees each day is the four sides of his bedroom back in Paris. The four sides of his small office. The bus he rides each morning every time he doesn't want to be picked up by the Crow Corporation company car.

In these pa.s.sing three years, everything around him is just like dull sceneries... but shutting himself from everybody.

The only happy memories he has: is when he starts living in the Hiryuu Island with the Young's, and then Ca.s.sandra's cry and baby laugh before he got ill.

He forgot that he has a family who's actually been there for him.

Also, he'd realized that he hadn't laughed at all for a long time already.

"Welcome home, Shun."

He felt Kaye's warm palm, tapping his shoulder. He hadn't noticed that his eyes now filled with tears.

Everyone stops laughing and takes silence. They are peering at him earnestly, showing him a home-like feeling. He stared at their faces: one by one and said.

"I am back."
