Hannah tried to avoid looking at Seo Joon so she looked at her phone instead. Liam didn't hesitate to continue their conversation about Andrew and answered Joon's question,

"Did you know your sister dated Andrew Park?"

Seo Joon scoffed, "That b.a.s.t.a.r.d? He's d.a.m.n lucky to date Dopey. Although he doesn't know her real ident.i.ty."

"What do you mean?"

"Samantha hid her ident.i.ty from him. He doesn't know her as Samantha Kim, the young miss from the Kim family of Kimsun Electronics."

Liam looked puzzled and so Seo Joon continued, "To Andrew, Samantha is just an average girl from an average family who attends cla.s.ses to learn baking."

The four of them talked over lunch and went on separate ways afterward. Liam called his brother to tell him everything that he found out over lunch. Some were already old news to Daniel, others were new.

The next day, Alexander Li called Samantha and asked her to come to the office. When Samantha arrived, she saw Alexander's expression and she knew that there was something wrong.

"You don't look like yourself, I a.s.sume this is bad."

Alexander nodded and handed Samantha a tablet. She looked at him first before she received the tablet and started reading an article.

"Berry Softwares? Isn't this the new company?"

"Yes, and they're currently facing problems. One of their executives and some employees from their IT department were poached by another company. It was too sudden that when they left a few days ago, Berry Softwares is now facing a huge mess. They had projects that were left undone."

"That's too bad for them, how is this related to us?"

Alexander swiped the screen from the tablet to show Samantha another article in the same predicament, there was another one after the second article. Three smaller companies were currently facing similar misfortunes and that made Samantha's brows furrow. "This can't be just a coincidence. Especially that there will be a bidding. Aren't they all partic.i.p.ants?"

"You're right, and I think we're next."

Samantha froze. "Who is doing all this?"

Before Alexander answered, Samantha already realized who it was and said, "Quantum Solutions."

He nodded, "Although we don't have concrete evidence, I have reasons to believe it's them too."

Samantha wasn't afraid, she had faith that her people wouldn't betray them. Although she's working behind the scenes, she knew everyone working for her. And she had paid attention to what's been going on. Alexander was a great partner and an excellent leader, the employees from the Trident company looked up to him and they are also well taken care of.

"They are very meticulous."

Alexander agreed, "They're already in the lead yet they want to make sure no one is in their way. Their goal is to make their path clear."

"Let's be cautious. We don't know what they're planning to do to us yet."

A couple of days later at a private room in a club. Alexander was with his friends, Holden and Isaac. With beers and liquor on the table, female escorts and music, the three friends are having a good time.

"You've been gone for a long time, Holden, your dad's pretty p.i.s.sed huh?", Isaac said before he drank his beer.

"The old geezer sent me out of the country. I had to beg him to come back here."

"Ohoh... you? begging? That's something I gotta see."

Andrew who has been quiet suddenly spoke, "Have you found out who did that to you?".

The truth is because of Holden's temper, att.i.tude and lifestyle, he has created a lot of enemies. So, finding out who the culprit was of the "stink-bomb-incident" was a little difficult.

Holden shook his head, "Not yet, but I will very soon. And when I do, that person will pay.", he said with a dark expression.

Andrew had been friends with Holden since they were young because both families were influential. And he knew very well that Holden's temper is not to be messed with. If he gets p.i.s.sed off, he'll definitely seek revenge.

The three friends were immersed in their conversation when the door of their private room opened.

Nancy Jung entered through the door wearing a black bodycon dress that hugged her body. The sound of her heels clicked when she walked towards Andrew. The escorts got up and left Andrew's side and Nancy sat beside him with a seductive smile.

"Who's this beauty?", Isaac asked while he eyed Nancy's figure.

"Meet my friends, Holden and Isaac. This is my new artist, Nancy Jung." Andrew introduced her while he draped his arm on Nancy's shoulder; his finger stroking her upper arm. This movement tickled Nancy and she loved it.

One of the reasons why she wanted to join Regal Wings was also because she liked Andrew. Nancy has been seeing him online and was attracted by his handsome face and how rich he is. So, joining his agency, becoming famous and becoming his woman... that would be a dream come true for her.

"It's nice to meet you.", Nancy said in a sweet voice making Isaac fawn over her.

Andrew glanced at Nancy's cleavage, she noticed this but she wasn't shy at all. In fact, this made her lean on Andrew's body even more.

Sensing that Nancy didn't hold back for him, Andrew's urges burned inside of him.

He leaned to her ear and whispered, "Do you wanna get out of here?".

"I'll follow you wherever you want to go, President Park.", she replied coquettishly, her lips touched his ear when she whispered making Andrew smirk in satisfaction.

If this is what it takes for her to succeed in her plan, Andrew can do whatever he wants with Nancy and she wouldn't mind at all. After all, Nancy Jung liked Andrew Park.

The two of them stood up leaving Andrew's friends behind.

"Hey, where are you two going?"

"We're leaving. Order whatever you want, it's on me tonight.". Andrew answered before he and Nancy left the room.

Andrew brought Nancy to a fancy hotel. Inside the hotel room, Andrew started to take off his s.h.i.+rt as he walked towards the bathroom.

"Make yourself comfortable, I'll go shower."

Nancy knew what was about to happen. A smile formed in her face while she took off her clothes and changed into a robe. She poured herself wine and walked over to the tall gla.s.s window. It was almost midnight but the city was still bustlin'.

Not long after, Andrew came out of the shower with a towel on. Nancy turned around with a smile on her face.

"Tell me, what do you want?", Andrew wasn't that dumb. He knew Nancy wanted something from him.

"I want to be famous."

Andrew chuckled at her frankness. At least she didn't hide it. "I can make that happen."

Nancy strode towards Andrew and he pulled her towards him.

"Is that all?", he asked.

She brought her hand up and touched his chest. Her hand moving slowly downwards until she gently tugged Andrew's towel.

"And you, President Park."

Andrew liked how brazen Nancy is. She knows what she wants and Andrew's gonna give it to her. Without any second thoughts, Andrew kissed Nancy as he undid her robe.

An afternoon a few days later in Sapphire Gardens.

Samantha and Hannah were currently watching Netflix when Samantha's phone rang.

"h.e.l.lo~", she got up from the sofa and went to the kitchen to talk privately.

"How are you?", Daniel's voice made Samantha's heart flutter.

"I'm all right. You're... still busy in City T?"

"Yeah, I'll have to stay for a few more days."

Samantha was silent for a few seconds before she replied, "Oh... okay, well don't just work. Have a rest when you can.", she said while she sounded a bit cheerless.

Daniel Cho noticed the change of tone in her voice. "Why? Do you miss me already?"

"What? I didn't say that!"

That's a lie, Samantha hadn't seen Daniel for 10 days and she missed him already. She's becoming too attached to Daniel, she finds it a little annoying that she couldn't see his smug face teasing her.

"If you say so, well. I gotta go. Talk to you later.", he said before he hung up the call.

Samantha wasn't even able to say goodbye to him.

She went back to the living room and Hannah saw her face, "Oooh, you look ugly. What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing."

"Pssh. Like I'd believe that!", Hannah said while she rolled her eyes. "Was that Daniel?"

Samantha nodded while she slumped on the sofa.

"He isn't coming back yet, huh?"

She nodded again and Hannah grinned like a crazy woman, "OMG S! You're falling for him, aren't you?", she gasped, "Woah! You can't even stand it when you can't see him!"

Samantha's heart throbbed. She turned to face her best friend, "What? No!"

"Yeah, keep telling yourself that.", Hannah scoffed.

Samantha became suddenly nervous. The way her heart was reacting at the moment Hannah said she was falling for Daniel was something that she had not experienced before. Not even when she was with Nathan. 'What is this feeling?', she wondered.
