Xing left those two under the care of the villagers and walked towards the Manor. The Manor was just outside the village and as she was walking through the lonely pathway she felt like someone creeping behind her and before she reacted, she felt a blow in the back of her head.

The blow did not hurt that much but she smelt a strong odour and before she knew, she fainted and even though she felt everything was blacked out, she could feel the familiar hands wrapping around her and carrying her princess style and she could hear the rhythmic heart beat of the one who said, "You are the only one in my heart".

When Xing came to, her hands were tied in iron chains to the rafters with her back to the wall and her legs felt weak and unable to stay in a standing position.

She still was groggy as if she was drugged and yet she could recognise this place as Haru's bedroom. She had left Haru's courtyard untouched since she felt like he might need this place if he wants to stay in the village in the future.

Xing squinted her eyes to look around to see if someone was here and she could see the familiar silhouette with his silver hair s.h.i.+ning in the bright sunlight streaming in through the windows and he seemed to be arranging something on the table nearby. The window beside him was open and Xing could sense that not much time has pa.s.sed since she blacked out and it must be noon.
