Birds flew away escaping the darkness and animals fled too. Xing could feel the strong killing intent emitting from those who escaped from the netherworld and the moment they touched something living, they consumed them leaving the entire mountain with a trail of blood.

They had been chasing the dark one for months and now when they almost got him, somehow he managed to release everyone who were trapped with him. He had the ability to manipulate portals.

"No!", she shouted as the Wind started to pick up and their robes were fluttering heavily on the Wind.

"Get in", she pushed Chenglei towards the house and at the same time, raised a barrier to stop those dark souls from getting to the human villages.

It took a lot of energy off her and she put another strong spell around her house and pushed Chenglei who was standing there unmoving with his hands over his eyes trying to a.s.sess what's going on.
