Also, in order to avoid being noticed at the checkpoint areas, they made sure to top the packages with different kind of fishes. Oh, so this is how they do their operations huh, Les exclaimed in his mind.
According to the captain of the s.h.i.+p, the delivery trucks will stop at the central city and will be unloading the stuffs at one of the ports where cargo s.h.i.+ps will continue the delivery to the client's address. This time, the client was from China.
As soon as the last fish truck was loaded, the captain sent his men to their private rest house owned by Silver to spend the night since the mechanical team needs to inspect the s.h.i.+p for the meantime before they sail back to the island tomorrow. They need to repair whatever was damaged due to the rainstorm earlier.
Unknown to everyone, Les sneaked inside the fish truck and hide himself discreetly. It was reeking inside but he needs to endure it until he reached the central city safely.
Meanwhile, Aisha heaved a heavy sigh when she outsmarted the men who inspected the small hole. She was thankful enough when a small spider crawled at her arm. She sensed it and so she woke up immediately. That moment, he heard some footsteps around the area so she crawled in the bounds and discovered that it was kinda wide inside. She mounted when she saw that she can walk around without bending down. then she got a glimpse of a tiny light coming from another hole.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.
Looks like someone dig this and tried to hide inside for a couple of days and even made another way out. whoever made this underground hideout was smart and she was thankful enough that she was able to use it to get away from Silver's men.
But then she was stunned to find herself inside a greenhouse—a vegetation greenhouse! She held her breath when she spun around to investigate the surroundings. And not far away from the greenhouse was a mansion with four armed men guarding it.
Is Silver and Liam inside? She was actually thinking to sneak inside the house and was preparing herself for it but then she hides herself right away when she saw Liam got out the house with his phone in his ears. Looks like he was perplexed.
"What? what did you say? They caught Silver?" he yelped. Aisha heard him since the man was walking towards the greenhouse but halted on the side when he saw that he was a distant from the men. they shouldn't hear him with the distance gap.
"But how come?" he started to pace back and forth while thinking what to do next. "So you are saying that Rio and Ethan pressed a charge against him and there's no way he would be able to win in the court?"
The other man on the other line confirm what Liam had just asked before he hung up the phone. As for Aisha, she could see that her uncle Liam was in profound thought. but to her surprise, the anxiousness on his face slowly faded away and a smirk gradually formed on his lips.
"What are you thinking, uncle Liam?" she thought. then after a few minutes, she heard the man laughed cheerfully. Was he that happy to know that Silver was caught? Wouldn't he do something to save him? she thought.
"Well, well… look at karma, its sure fast." He muttered unconsciously. "Why not rot in jail Silver while I continue what we started? Don't worry, I will definitely do my best as the new boss." Then he chuckled evilly.
Aisha yelped in surprise. But she released a heavy sigh after Liam left the greenhouse and went out the house using his car. Hmm... this could be her chance to raid the house silently. She thought.
She was quick to hide herself whenever the men suspiciously stare at her location. Also, the CCTV cameras are easy to nudge as well. when she found a chance, she climbed at the terrace on the east side of the house, leading to who knows whose room was it. she slowly opened the door to the terrace and peeked inside. Ah, she can't see anyone so she vigilantly entered. as soon as she made sure that the hallway was safe, she started to find Silver or Liam's room. however, almost all the rooms were locked. She can manipulate the locker but it will take her sometime. Guess all she needs is a little extra time.
Consumed by the will to open one of the rooms, she didn't notice someone came out from the other room and saw what she was doing.
"What are you doing?" a female voice called out from the somewhere. Hearing her voice, she suddenly shuddered. Aisha slowly spun around to see who it was. the housemaid! Her eyes widened.

In the central city, Les was able to get out from the fish truck without being noticed. Lucky for him, however, he was on a city which everything was new to him and tall buildings where on every sides. Which is which now? he thought.
He doesn't even have a single penny on him and his stomach was grumbling due to hunger. If he remembers it right, the fish trucks started on the road at around eight in the evening. So if he a.s.sesses the brightness of the sun, guess it was already nine in the morning. Wait, did the travel for the whole night?
He was also stinking. He knew it base on how people avoided him. but then, even if he wanted to change outfit, he couldn't since all of his stuffs where thrown off the sea. Faintly, he walked on a corner and rest for a while. He can feel his stomach complaining loudly.
"Hey, take this. looks like you need it more than I do." an old man handed him a piece of bread.
"But Sir, how about you?" Les asked when he saw the man's situation. He was a crippled beggar.
"Don't worry about me young man, I had finished my breakfast earlier." he chuckled. Les gladly munched the bread after he thank the old man.
"Uhm, Sir, can I ask you something?" Les started and was glad that he was able to catch the old man's attention. "Do you know a businessman whose name is Ethan? Ethan Williams?"
The old man creased his brow. "Why did you ask? Are you probably his illegitimate son?" he joked then he laughed after.
Les chuckled as well. "Ah, no sir. It would be nice to be his kin though." He grinned.
"Right!" the old man continued laughing though. "Ethan Saphiro Williams? His pretty famous for being a very successful young man. can you see that tall building there?" he pointed out the one on the east side. "That's his company."
Les stood up immediately. "Thank you mister! But I need to go and see him." then he sprints to where the building was. it took him at least twenty minutes by foot before he totally reaches the said building. His eyes widened when he saw how small he was as he stood in the middle of the building ground. He's sure is rich! He exclaimed.
He tried to go inside but the guards stopped him. at his current rate, he looks like a beggar. He couldn't do anything but to wait outside the building looking for Ethan. He was basing his search on Aisha's description. After a few more hours, a black SUV car stopped in front of the building, followed by another car. He saw how the guards straightened themselves when the car arrived.
A young handsome guy got off the car immediately, a.s.sisted by a middle age man, maybe that was his PA? when Les got a glimpse of the man's face, he rushed to him yelling his name.
"Mr. Williams! Mr. Williams! Please wait, I need to talk to you!" Les screamed loud but before he even come close to the man, two of his men stopped Les. Ethan halted for a while and looked at the man who just called out, but the man beside him whispered something in his ears so he turned around and continued walking.
"It's about Aisha!"
Ethan was already inside the building but he was able to hear a name. wait! did he hear him right. when Les saw how the young man halted through the gla.s.s window, he shouted again.
"Miss Aisha sent me! she needs -----'' but before he even finish, the men started to drag him away from the building premises.
"Let him go!"
It was the last word Les heard before he loses his consciousness. Guess he was too weak due to not having a proper meal for twenty-four hours plus staying under the sun for almost a day.
