"All my life, I've been subject to people who has power over me. I've lost the people that I loved because I lack power. I couldn't protect them because I was weak. I am tired of being pathetic and being trampled and look down, so I tried to work my way up. But no matter how I work so hard, I still couldn't protect what's dear to me and that angers me. I always lost because my strength is not enough." Silver continued.

The king was in deep thought for a while since he didn't reply as soon as Silver was done explaining.

"Power to protect someone who is very dear to you?" the king muttered. And to everyone's surprise, he laughed hilariously. But after a few minutes, he tried to calm himself.

"Mr. Gray, who do you think I am?" the king suddenly asked in a serious manner. Silver jerked and had been feeling uneasy all of a sudden. "You are the king and everyone considers you the most powerful man in the underworld." Silver replied.

"The king and the most powerful man, huh." His upper lip twitch all of a sudden. "I may be the most powerful man in the underworld but just like you, I wasn't able to protect the people I love too. I lost them and couldn't even punish the person who took their precious lives despites having the power to do so." He uttered.

Everyone was quite since they were all intently listening. It was their very first time to encounter the king so they might as well take the chance to listen to him and witness how he ends his verdict.
