One Night With The Prince 218 He Would Wait For Eternity

Pierre saw through the rearview mirror what he was doing and got worried.  "Are you alright, your highness?  Is there something I can do for you?  Do you want me to stop and get your medicine?"  He asked, worriedly.

Instead of replying to Pierre's questions, Prince Alexander closed his eyes, forcing himself trying to remember Alexa Grant.  However, no matter how hard he works, nothing...  The more he tries, the more his in pain, "Ahhh!" He exclaimed in which had startled Pierre and put his foot on the break accidentally.

Prince Alexander was not wearing a seatbelt. Therefore he was thrown toward the front of the car and banged his head on one of the seats.

"Your highness, are you alright?  If you're still not ready, we could postpone this trip."  Suggested Pierre with concern in his eyes.

Prince Alexander was slightly dizzy after banging his head, "Nah!  Keep going. Your the one who keeps telling me that It might help me regain my memories if I meet her in person.  What's with the sudden change of heart?" He said casually while rubbing the back of his neck.

Pierre has no choice but to continue driving towards the airport.  It is him that suggested that they go to places that he used to travel and also to meet with Miss Grant, hoping that it will bring back the missing part of Prince Alexander's memory.

However, Pierre is now concern that it might be a wrong decision after all.  However, it is far too late to back out...  If they stayed any longer in the palace, there's a chance that the Queen would find out that he regain his sight already.

Do or die, and they need to go and meet with Alexa in person.  It's the only way to find out if he would regain his memory after meeting her.  If that does not work, Pierre doesn't know what else to do...

Meanwhile, back in the Philippines.  Alexa decided to do some volunteering in the community while she's in the country.  Ethan and Eva had built a home for orphaned children, and Alexa decided to volunteer and help around the place.

President Grant and Crissy decided to go back to America and make preparation for the wedding and thanksgiving.  Alexa had promised to be back home then since Daniel and Andrea were still on their honeymoon.

"I'll stay a few more days and help out the shelter, then I would hurry back home to spend Thanksgiving with you guys,"  Alexa promised with sadness in her eyes.

President Grant doesn't want to leave her in the Philippines all alone, but since the Wen and the Go family had promised to take care of her... He let her stay, with the promised that she would be home for Thanksgiving...

Jeff and Ann were quick to play the matchmaker when they found out that Alexa was going to the shelter to do some volunteering.  They quickly informed Ramon so he could accompany Alexa.

"I'm not sure if she would like that?  I better not be on her way. I know that she's still missing him. I know that for a fact!" Told Ramon to Jeff when he was asked.

"What is wrong with you?  How long had you been pinning for her?  Man... You need to find courage, how in the world are you going to get your girl, if your such a chicken?"  Jeff was trying to p.i.s.s Ramon off so he would find the courage to court Alexa.

"It's of no use! I tried already, and I failed."  He sadly admitted defeat.

Ann couldn't stand it any longer and interject.  "Look, Mr. Le Grand.  If it wasn't for my husband keeps telling me that you're the best candidate, I would not go along with this.  She's my cousin, and I only wanted the best for her.  If my husband said that you are the best, then I believe him.  

"However, if you are such a chicken and would not fight for the woman you love...  Then she doesn't deserve you!"  Ann then turned around and stomped off as she left her husband to continue with his persuasion.

Ramon was stunned after hearing what Ann had said.  Technically, she's right.  He's been in love with Alexa since they were still in middle school, and he never had the guts to fight for her even when he had the chance.  With that thinking, Ramon decided to go for it... Do or die. He would make Alexa his...

Ramon then quickly left Jeff and Ann's villa and went straight to Alexa's.  President Grant, Grandmother Grant, and Chrissy were about to depart to return to America.   Ramon arrived in time to pay his respect to the elders.

"Don't worry, Mr. President.  I will make sure that she stays safe while she's doing volunteering.  I will also make sure that she makes it back in time for Thanksgiving, even if I have to drag her."  He promised to President Grant and Chrissy.

President Grant thanked Ramon and shook his hand while patting him on his back.  "I will leave her to your care then."  He said as he bid them goodbye.

Alexa was stunned for the way her father acted.  She used to remember him being adamant that she's not to a.s.sociates herself with the Le Grand, but now...  She just shook her head and bid her parents and grandmother goodbye.

Once they left, it suddenly becomes awkward.  Ramon and Alexa don't know what to say with one another.  Ramon was hesitating, and so as Alexa...  Therefore, they stood there for a moment before,

Ramon: "I'm sorry!"  

Alexa: "I'm sorry!"

Both said it in unison, then looked at each other.  Before, "Hahaha, hahaha!"  Both began laughing out loud for what they had done. 

Alexa was the first to come closer to Ramon and give him a friendly hug.  "I'm truly sorry, Ramon.  I tried, but... I don't know how to explain it right now.  Give me some time, alright?  I promise, if and when I'm ready...  You will be the one and no one else.  I promise!"  

That's all Ramon needed to hear to come out of Alexa's lips.  He conjured the sweetest smile before patting Alexa's back while they were still embracing each other. "I can wait even if it's an eternity. Don't worry, please, don't stress yourself over it. I had waited this long already, what' another millennium.  Hahaha!"  He jokingly said to lighten the atmosphere.

Alexa was both happy and sad...  She's happy that Ramon was being understanding about it.  However, she's sad because no matter how hard she tried, she can't seem to forget the only man she ever truly fell in love with...  Prince Alexander...  Unknown to her was already on the way to find her.

Meanwhile, Prince Alexander and Pierre arrived at the Airport...  Prince Alexander was anxious as to what would happen when they do finally meet face to face...
