Tamamo: Huh? It's already evening? I think we could not reach Sabasa Castle today…

Sara: Hey, I have a suggestion, we could go to the Witch Hunt Village, it is more near than the Sabasa Castle and we could sleep there instead of making a camp.

The two of them were able to reach the Witch Hunt Village, if they walked towards Sabasa Kingdom instead, at night they might get a.s.saulted from a monster.

The sight in front of them made Sara frown immediately, she didn't knew about what was happening in the village, the lord of the village is capturing 'Witches' and torturing them.

But the truth is that the lord herself is a witch and she is capturing normal people for experiments, only because she wanted revenge for something that happened to her mom.

The village was dull and lifeless, the atmosphere feels so oppressive that just standing at the gate made it hard for her to breathe.

Sara: W-What…

Marco: This is the Witch Hunt Village, the lord of this village is hunting witches, and it scared anyone here…

Sara: What?! B-But…

Marco: It's obvious that you didn't knew, rumors like these are heard in the street between travelers and merchants, not guards or royalties. Let's go find an inn.

Sara slowly nodded and followed Marco, she could feel really safe only by being near him. But they were blocked from a woman.

Woman: Are you travelers? You must not enter this village. Turn back right away.

The woman quickly warned them with a hushed voice, scaring a bit Sara, who hid behind Marco, who was listening to the woman who was looking at him.

Woman: You will be probably caught from the guards for your crimson eyes… Even the woman behind you will be caught from the lord.

Marco: Thank you, miss, but I can defe-

He was interrupted when two soldiers approached from behind.

Soldier 1: Travelers! Don't move! I need to inspect you first.

Soldier 2: Peasant! What are you saying to these travelers? Are you a witch?!

Woman: Th… They were just asking directions, sir!

The woman slowly backed away, while Marco looked at the soldiers with a blank look and Sara was behind him.

Woman: I have to run…

Then she left, and the soldiers turned to the travelers.

Soldier 1: Strangers, why have you come to this village?

Marco: We want to rest for a night and then leave.

The soldiers looked at each other before nodding, they didn't have any real reason to call them witches. So they would try to kidnap them at the inn.

They left Marco and Sara there, while Marco shrugged and said.

Marco: Let's go.

Sara gulped and nodded, before following Marco to the nearest inn.

They paid and then got to a single room with 2 beds.

Sara: Are you sure that we are safe here?

Marco: Haha, no!

Sara looked blankly at Marco, and told him.

Sara: You are really bad at comforting people…

Marco: Would you really like it if I told you that we are safe and then find thieves in the room?

Sara sighed and just took off her armor, then she got to a bed, Marco took away his chainmail and s.h.i.+rt, remaining topless and then stretched in his bed, but didn't slept.

Marco: 'Alice… Where are you…'

He slowly closed his eyes, but before he closed them, he stood up with a frown and yelled.

Marco: Sara! We have intruders!

Sara: ...Huh-

*Crash*

The door was smashed down from a kick, revealing the 2 soldiers they encountered at the gate some minutes ago.

Soldiers: Let's pick them.../ Nn.

Then the soldiers pointed their spears at Marco and Sara, Marco gritted his teeth because he was really too tired, but if he just take them down, others will come here the entire night, so he will fix everything now…

He entered the 1st Gate and used his tail to grab the spear pointing at him, and broke it.

Soldier 1: Hiiiiii! A real witch!!

The tail grabbed him and slammed him against the other soldier, they fell in the ground one over the other and Marco put a foot over them.

Soldier 2: L-Let us go… P-P-Please…

Marco: Tsk…

Marco kicked both of them out from the window, making them fall from the 1st Floor. Sara stood up and looked out from the window before turning towards Marco.

Sara: You didn't need to be like this!

Marco: Don't worry, you just stay here, hidden somewhere while I go to the lord to have a small chat with her…

Sara gulped from the dark tone Marco used, it seems that he was really p.i.s.sed off from not sleeping, then she hid in a wardrobe, when Marco a.s.sured where Sara should be, he walked out from the inn and walked to the lord's mansion.

Two soldiers were standing in front of the gate, under the starry sky.

Under the 1st Gate, Marco hid somewhere before jumping over the wall, unnoticed from anyone, and then he walked towards the door, opening it and entering.

Inside the mansion there was a cauldron that was releasing green smoke, and around it there were many books and potions.

The Lord is a witch, using innocents for experiments only because a few men didn't helped her parents, if the reason for her to do it was worse, Marco wouldn't give a f.u.c.k.

But the reason was coincidentally the same of his, which let him understand what the Lord was feeling, and he knew that it was completely wrong killing innocents, he himself despised the villagers from Illias Village, but after the plague he started to care for the new villagers.

Some of them were like aunts and uncles for him, the old villagers died, while the outsiders replaced them, Marco was a really good friend with the new villagers, so he hated the lord, using innocents for her bulls.h.i.+t for his same problem.

Then from a room, a young woman with green long hair and a green dress appeared, she was smiling at him, she was the Lord.

Lord: Hehe… How surprising.

Marco: Speak.

Lily: I am the Lord of this mansion, Meister Lily. A sorcerer aiming to understand the truth of all creation.

Marco: *Sigh* ...Fanatics… Well, I think you already know why I am here…

Lily: Yeah… But from what I see, you hold a great magical power too, why don't you join me?

He looked around and found only a prison, many cages were put one beside another, with only torches lighting the room.

When he concentrated his sight, he found many men inside the cages moaning tirelessly, over them, there were strange creatures with tentacles hanging from the ceiling, sucking out the men's bodily fluids.

Men: Haaa…

The men were already gone insane, drool came from their mouths and were staring straight ahead at the ceiling with a smile on their faces.

Marco didn't pitied them, he just got angry, from the game it might look something light, but seeing it in first person was horrible, they looked as if death could save them, a sight that would enrage and horrify many people.

Then something tugged on his pants, Marco turned, still using the 1st Gate, and found a small girl with tears in her eyes, she had red hair divided in two twintails and red eyes.

Little Girl: H...Help… Me…

Marco crouched down with a soft face and tried to pat her head to comfort her, but he was interrupted from a voice at the end of the hall.

Lily: Ara ara, what a naughty girl. You'll need to be punished.

There was Lily, who snapped her fingers, and then the girl's body suddenly begins to change. Her hair became red tentacles, same with her ears, arms, and other tentacles appeared from her feet.

Little Girl: Ahh… Ahhh!

Marco: What the f.u.c.k Lily?!

With an enraged face, Marco turned toward Lily, who just smiled.

Then Marco could sense movements behind him, and turned to find that the girl was slowly changing again, and turned in the same thing that was hanging over the ceiling over many men.

Lily: Well, since you tried to escape. I guess the body of a failure suits you. Now make yourself useful and suck this intruder dry.

Then Lily disappeared before Marco could hunt her, he turned towards the creature, and before the creature could attack him, Marco used Demon Decapitation to it, making a giant cut over its body.

The creature glowed, and turned back to the little girl it once was. Marco sighed in relief, knowing that his sealing powers could bring her back to normal, and gritted his teeth while turning towards the end of the hall, where Lily once was.

Marco: You…!

Marco ignored the men in trance and hastily walked to the end of the hall, he would free everyone when he would have finished with the job.
