"So, how many women you have dated before my second disciple?" Blunt and straightforward, Grandmaster Wei fired his first question for Ethan.

Having expected something like this, Ethan calmly answered, "Non. Lillie is the first and only one who holds my heart." Without stammering.

"Your white moonlight, huh." Hard to believe, but his second disciple seemed to be backing him up when she nodded.

"Are you a virgin?"

It was not only Death who spluttered, but Lillie as well—in a graceful way.

Heat rose to Lillie's cheeks, her eyes widen slightly in embarra.s.sment at her master.

"Yes." Ethan lied between his teeth in ease. He had been a virgin until Lillie took it, and vice-versa. But for the sake of self-preservation, he didn't mentioned it.

Death, who knows that Ethan was bullsh*tting, received a furtive, dark look from his Junior Sister that said "not a single word from you".

Fortunately, she was sitting next to Grandmaster Wei and across from the two, younger males.

Though she didn't end up being an arrogant brat due to the pampering she received, Lillie still wasn't used to doing menial tasks like cleaning and cooking on her own at first.

Grandmaster Wei seemed to have thought of Lillie's domestic skills and wanted to know if Ethan also have them so that he could help around when there are at a place where they don't have servants.

Nothing is more appealing than a man who knows how to tend the house and take care of the kids.

"Although we have housekeepers and cooks at our home, I'm adequate in doing household ch.o.r.es." That wasn't a complete lie, really.

Ethan had done the dishes before, sweep the floor of their bedroom, organize and dust some bookshelves, and even give that nuisance of an oversized dog a bath.

He'd also washed his clothes before too...when he was in high school...to hide the evidence that he had been into a fight.

You know, typical things teenagers hide from their parents. But instead of hickeys, lipstick marks, alcohol stench, or a secret lover, in Ethan's case, it's all blood and gore, and a couple of bruises.

"And when the two of us have a day off from work, I would cook for her, help her pick some fruits and vegetables from the garden, and give her wolf a bath."

"Ah, you managed to give Storm a bath? My, what a feat!" Now that, in Grandmaster Wei's book, was another remarkable achievement.

Ethan earned another point in Grandmaster Wei's mental scoreboard.

He knows the ferocious and proud fellow ever since he was a small pup, and he's cognizant that no one but his mistress was allowed to give him a bath.

Lillie daintily put a piece of meat in her mouth and chewed quietly. She had watched movies of couples going at each other's houses to meet the parents for the first time, and learned that it was supposed to be the most excruciating part of the relations.h.i.+p.

Truth to be told, it's awkward, uncomfortable, nerve-wracking, and unnerving. Though, she only felt the first and second one.

Lillie's confident that Ethan would have her master's approval. Grandmaster Wei frequently etched into her mind of the qualities she should be looking from the person she sees a potential lover.

First and foremost, loyalty. Her potential partner should not be blinded by temptation, should at least know how to defend themselves, know their way around the house, loves children, not moronic like her Senior Brother, a decent cook, loves her to the moon and back, respectable, filial to both hers and their family, and the list goes on.

Ethan got most of it. Only that she's not sure of the 'not moronic like her Senior Brother' part. They're like two peas in a pod, and they don't even realize it.

Dinner and interrogation lasted until every food on the plates were cleared and the three jars of wine were emptied.

Stomach filled up and satisfied, Death was ready to escape through the window and sleep like a pig after a hefty meal on his room.
