Late Night Thoughts And Overthinking 5 Meaning

What is our purpose in this world?

I always wondered, do I actually have one?

Or am I just another shadow travelling the Earth. It might seem frustrating not knowing if your life has a meaning or not.

Of course we matter for our parents and family, but what about the world, the nature, the environment?

I always said I wanna make a difference, change something or make it better. Do something I will be remembered for. Something that will inspire generations to come to do better than me and work harder.

And then, i realized....

My dogs, they all matter for me sooo much, they are my family and I am always happy to see them when I arrive home. I adore that happiness that sparkles in their eyes. They are always so surprised and happy to see me, like it has been ages since our last encounter.

I matter to them, because they feel my love, my appreciation and my care for them.

So I guess what I am trying to say is that little things indeed count and matter. If we want to change something we have to begin with baby steps, and little by little we will get where we want. Smile by smile, joke by joke and let's make sure from now on that there won't be a day to pa.s.s without us being happy, or at least smiling. Because guys, smiling really is contagious. Either because you envy that glow someone has when they smile, either because you cannot comprehend why is that person actually smiling. ?

But I am not talking just about smiling, I am talking about actually wanting to smile, because you feel like it, not because that is what is expected of you. We can be happy without smiling and that is okay. As long as we are happy. I like to compare happiness with a room, I know strange... but listen.

Everytime we are happy, truly happy, that room gets warm and comfortable and welcoming. And when we are blue it gets cold and unwelcoming. But that room is more important than we think, because we mihht catch a cold if you stay in such an environment, that might get cured but maybe we will be left with some scars.

What I am trying to say and now I will really finish this thought, is thatwe shouldn't take into consideration everyone's opinion or advice. We need to prioritize, and only accept those who actually are meant to help us grow and get stronger. I guess this is up to you to decide, but make sure you take good care of yourselves guys. Because even if you might not know yet, your presence is very important for lots of people (or dogs) out there.
