Jin Caihe walked towards his cla.s.s and heard the boisterous voices of his students coming from within, his foot was light which made it near impossible for any of them to have heard him . His mind was filled with the thought of how to carry on with his life should the marriage to the fox princess be made known to everyone in the sect . Shortly before he left the presence of his sect leader, Jin Ruimin had called for several disciples to spread the word that the headteacher was about to wed the granddaughter of the Fox King . The head teacher could hear bit and pieces of the conversation from within, although it was not in his nature to eavesdrop, he could help but pause a little to hear what his disciple students thought about his intended marriage .

"Head teacher Jin is getting married?!"

"Jin An please close your mouth, you don't want flies entering into them!"

After Jin An, the timid one in the group of disciples that followed the young master of the GuBaiJin sect had voiced his thought on the news of his teacher's upcoming wedding to the fox clan, this made Jin Dongbin to reprimand him in a light tone, for showing too much surprise . The other two youths in the group that were the loudest kept on with the conversation .

"Can you imagine it?!"

It was an head shaker to those that heard the news which came from a group of senior disciples sent by their sect leader .

"I wonder if headteacher Jin would have to give up teaching?!"

"What are you talking about? Of course he has to stop teaching!"

"But, if he does, then who would be our teacher?"

This time, one of the youths that usually spoke aggressively, Jin Xiangu used his sharp tongue to whip his timid cla.s.smate .

"Jin An! Why are you so slow! Aren't there enough disciples for the sect leader to pick from to act as our teacher?! At times I doubt if you should be learning with us, you're best suited to planting vegetables!"

The disciple that was called Jin An bursted into tears from being spoken to harshly by his fellow cla.s.smate .

Jin Dongbin, the young master of the GuBaiJin sect, was the one in the group that maintained balance among the boys, one would call him a gentle easygoing person that spoke with care . Not that it was surprising, since he had to uphold the name of the sect, as the young master and future sect leader .

"Aya! Jin Xinze stop with your nonsense, if Jin An is a kitten then I'm the mad dog that preys on weak doe eyed weaklings!"

The two gave a raucous laugh at what was said, while the disciple that was the center of the quip kept sniffling from crying at the insult that was said to him by Jin Xiangu .

Meanwhile, Jin Tieguai who sat in front of them, heard clearly what they said about the wedding of the head teacher to a member of the royal family of the fox clan . The troublemaker was still reeling in shock from the news and couldn't quite bring himself to accept that it was going to happen soon .

"Let's leave Jin An for now and talk about what would possibly happen after head teacher Jin is gone . "

Young master Jin called his cronies back to their early discussion regarding the fate of their cla.s.s should their beloved teacher leave to an unknown land .

Even though Jin Dongbin raised his voice a bit to the other disciple, it didn't sound threatening instead the other found it very funny and began to laugh .

"Aya! One of this days, young master Jin would throw you off the cliff for being too annoying!"

Jin Xinze had to remind his cla.s.smate substly that despite Jin Dongbin not talking much and maintaining an aloof air of elegance and gentility . He should never forget who he was by acting brazenly .

Young master Jin spoke with a gentle smile on his face, which made his fair jade skin look all the more elegant as one from a fine household .

Jin Xinze was the one in the group that did the most brown nosing . Although, he had respect for the young master of the GuBaiJin sect, he wanted to wet the floor with his acts of kindness towards the young master of the sect, so as to secure a position for himself, should the other become the sect leader . He could already see himself as the right hand of his cla.s.smate, he was so into his imagination that the youth didn't know when the words spilled out of his mouth .

"Where?! Where is Sect Leader Jin?!"

The others asked Jin Xinze where he had seen their sect leader . Neither knew that the words were spoken out from daydreaming!

"Jin Xinze! Where did you see Sect Leader Jin?!"

The dreamy look in the eyes of the good looking youth vanished in a blink of an eye .

"I'm sorry young master Jin! I didn't mean to make such a false announcement!"

Hearing the voice of Jin An was sounded like those of a toddler giving an empty boast of how they could sleep alone in the dark . The youths couldn't help but laugh at the weak voice of Jin An .

"Just give up and let young master Jin look after you!"

Jin Xinze fervently spoke the promise to himself, it was then that the young master turned and saw the ugly look in his eyes that was sent Jin An's way . This caused a secret smile to appear on the lips of Jin Dongbin .

"This is going to be interesting, I can't wait to see who would emerge as the winner between the two, would the kitten be ripped to shreds or would the mad dog have his eyes plucked out of their socket?"

None of them knew the dark thought of Jin Dongbin, who in actuality had none that he cared for, to him they were there to make him s.h.i.+ne the brightest .

"When do you think we would get the chance to meet disciples from other sects?!"

It was Jin Xiangu that spoke, whose blood was the hottest in the group .

It was then that a malicious smile stole across the face of Jin Dongbin, when he heard what Jin An said, which was why even though he never cared much for the disciple, he was very smart unlike the others who wanted to appear like they were when around him . He was timid by nature and very shy, but whenever he had something to say to the group, he'll momentarily put away his shyness .

"It wouldn't be such a bad idea to have Jin An by my side . "

This made Jin Dongbin wonder which was the true Jin An .
