When the women finally finished spewing their childish words toward Mimi, the young girl stared at them with folded arms, her brows arching.

"Are you done?" Mimi asked once the women finished speaking.

Startled, the women shut their mouths, looking uneasily at Mimi with furrowed brows. With indifferent narrowed eyes, Mimi reveals a hidden smirk.

"Good. Then allow me to say a few things."

Unfolding her arms, Mimi takes a step toward the women, her penetrating eyes staring intently at them. Her intense eyes caused the women to unconsciously flinch.

Seeing the woman flinch upon her single step, Mimi's eyes narrow.

"First off, why should I care about what any of you think of me when I don't care about you? Instead of desperately trying to elevate my reputation by expressing words of flattery, I'd rather spend my time not caring and being alone." Mimi gently wrapped a soft strand of hair around her slender finger.

"After all, people's bulls.h.i.+t and fakeness are the particular reason I prefer to be alone. And seeing all the c.r.a.p you're spewing it seems I made the right choice."

For every word Mimi spoke, the women and those around her widened their eyes. Mimi's words had raised sincere admiration and surprise in the hearts of many of the employees.

Never had they thought such a young girl would have a fierce heart toward society?

Most during Mimi's age had focused on reputation and becoming likable toward those around them.

Even with appearances, many young people were influenced by society and those around them.

Mimi, who was very aware of this fact, learned a simple fact that could change anyone's life forever.

Not caring what others think will be the best choice you will ever make.

And it was true, not many realized how much caring about others opinions influenced their decisions on certain things.

Those that were jealous of her?

Their jealousy to Mimi was simply clear signs that she was doing something right.

They were envious because she had or was something they weren't.

Through living with her wicked family and experiencing the industry Mimi was aware of many things.

One required a resolute heart to make it in this industry. Someone who was timid would either break or use someone with more power to clutch on to.

The more a person succeeded the more hate and love they'd receive.

The employees listening to Mimi speak couldn't help but be surprised that such bold words were said by someone her age.

And after witnessing the actions of the group of women in front of her, it was clear the young girl was well aware of their motives and thoughts.

It was clear they wished to make connections with Mimi due to discovering her brother was a successful young businessman.

In addition to how kindly he spoke of Mimi, it was safe to say the sibling pair were close.

"Now if you're done playing the role of begging mutts, I have work to do." Mimi, without caring for their words, walked past the group of women and into her office.

They think she's a b.i.t.c.h?

The truth was they all couldn't handle her straightforward honesty.

Most people would rather be destroyed in praises and lies than saved by criticism.

Besides, to Mimi being honest and exposing their flaws was much more fun!

As Mimi walked toward her office, her cold eyes wandered toward a specific figure staring at her intently.

Perceiving the person's eyes on her, Mimi smirks as she enters her office, carefully shutting the door behind her with a clear click.

For a few moments, the room was silent. Everyone had either sucked in their breaths waiting for the girl to say something more, or the women to refute.

Yet in the end, Mimi hadn't left any room for the women to get back up and argue.

She had completely shattered them with her words and insults!

The group of women who Mimi had called begging mutts just a few minutes ago, flushed red with embarra.s.sment.

That little b.i.t.c.h! How dare she call them mutts? What fakeness?

They had tried to be nice, but it seemed that she couldn't even accept a bit of kindness, especially toward her seniors!

With bitter expressions, the woman with tails between their legs walked back to their desks with lowered heads.

Those watching the women walk back shamefully to their desks couldn't help but snicker.

What did they expect?

Were they so blinded by their need to clutch on a golden thigh they had forgotten about the girl's shameless indifferent behavior?

The minute they spoke to Mimi they were entering a losing battle.

Settling down, the only sound heard was the faint sound of tapping keyboards and flipping pages.

Jinny, sitting quietly at her desk typing in a few forms stares dazedly at her screen, her movements slowing down slightly.

The woman's hands clenched tightly into fists, her eyes flas.h.i.+ng with a complex emotion.

As Mimi was heading toward her office, Jinny, from the beginning watched the young girls every movement, including the girl making eye contact with her.

A smirk spreading across her lips before her figure disappeared.

That smirk. It was clearly directed toward her. It was a smirk of mock.

As Mimi spoke to the women, Jinny had felt as if every word was directed toward her, that day Mimi spoke to her appearing in her mind once more.

Harshly biting her bottom lip, Jinny quietly lowers her head.

"That sure was surprising. Who would have thought someone like her would be the sister of someone so influential."

"I know right? But then again, it does explain a lot."

"But still, why hide her skills? Did she purposely want us to look bad?"

Scoffing, the female employee rolls her eyes. "Knowing her shameless personality, I bet."

Inside the company's cafeteria was a group of female employees gathered around drinking coffee and eating lunch.

Sitting with them was both Jinny and Senior Su. Senior Su, quietly drinking her dark coffee, while Jinny with her head lowered took small bites of her sandwich.

"Do you think she planned this from the beginning? Deliberately making herself look bad so she could show off later?" A female employee asked.

"I wouldn't be surprised if it was." Another sighed.

One of the women looking up stares at Senior Su, who from the beginning remained silent.

"Hey, Senior Su. Did you know about Mimi's skills? I mean Mr. Sato did, and the two of you are pretty close. The possibilities of you knowing don't seem rare." She asked, causing all the women at the table to stare at the elegant woman.

Looking up with a strained smile, Senior Su shakes her head gently, a crooked yet graceful smile on her face.

"No, I didn't. I was just as surprised as you all were." She smiled.

"No way, you didn't know either?"

"I wonder if she told Mr. Sato not to tell you. After all, Mr. Sato tells you everything."

"Right, right, that must have been it."

As the employees talked, Senior Su's thin brows twitched. However, her actions went unnoticed by all the women.

Chatting some more, one of them with narrowed eyes couldn't help but scoff.

"Did you hear what she said earlier about people acting fake, honestly, what a bunch of bulls.h.i.+t? What does she know? She wouldn't be able to tell the difference between kindness and malicious intentions even if it slapped her in the face." The woman frowned.

"Haha, I agree. If anyone's fake, it's her."

Slam--!

The abrupt sound of a chair pus.h.i.+ng out caused all the women at the table and few people pa.s.sing by to look in the direction of the sound.

Standing up from her chair with a pale complexion was none other than Jinny.

"Jinny? What's wrong?" Senior Su frowned.

With quivering lips, Jinny gently parts her lips to speak but suddenly shuts them.

"I um…I have to go to the bathroom!" Jinny without saying anything more rushes out of the cafeteria.

The women at the table stare at Jinny's departing figure confusingly.

"She sure was in a rush." A woman sighed gently.

"No kidding, she must really have to go to the bathroom." Another giggled.

Continuing with their discussions, the women hadn't noticed the dark dressed figure walking out of the cafeteria with a mischievous smirk.
