"This place is great, right?" Emily turned to Leo smiling .

"I guess" Leo gave a small smile while thinking, 'I don't really know if this place is great though'

Currently, the group is moving through a pathway, going towards the Mansion, and Leo saw that they have a small garden with different kinds of vegetables growing, but one thing he noticed the most is that the survivors inside are thin, like they are malnourished while those people who probably fights are looking healthy .

Which just showed how this place treats those who don't know how to fight unfairly, which goes against Leo's rules back at the base . Why? Because even if they don't know how to fight, people like them are still very important as they would be doing most of the ch.o.r.es like laundry, cooking and the likes, that the soldiers couldn't do because of their duties and how they are always busy .

If a survivor base is like the human body, then they would be the red blood cells while the soldiers would be the white blood cells . Meaning, a survivor base can't survive long without its red blood cells that works around the clock .

"So this how they operate?" Leo asked .

"Yes, the leader of survivor camp is called Ashton, and an arrogant p.r.i.c.k at that and at the same time, he abuses the people living under him . Good thing that I was already part of Derek's crew before or I would have become one of his playthings" Emily answered hatefully, while biting on her nails .

"Oh? Are you saying that he forces himself to women he took fancy of?" Leo asked, not the least bit surprised about it, as he had seen worse before .

"What Emily said is right, they were already troublemakers even before the Apocalypse, and now that there are no police and rules to restrict them, they had gotten more worse" one of the women in the group, said those words hatefully, clearly showing that there's a grudge between the two them when Leo saw her expression .

"You guys are not lying, right?" Leo wanted to make sure, as he didn't want someone like him to join, and Leo wasn't biased against people who are troublemakers, but he at least wanted them to have their own morals .

"Of course . . what would we get from lying to you" Ariel clicked his tongue, then he continued, "Just make sure to not do something stupid and make sure you act tougher than him when you meet him, he gets . . . really obnoxious if he sees someone being a wimp or cowardly in front of him"

"Shh . . he's here" Derek whispered .

Leo then saw a group of six people, wearing biker gang jackets and everything about them and their gait oozes the word "arrogance"

"h.e.l.lo there!" Ashton greeted Derek and his group with a huge smile on his face, but his eyes are clearly directed at Emily, which made the latter hide behind Leo .

'Oh boy~' Leo smiled helplessly, like he already knows what would happen next .

And certainly, the man called Ashton suddenly had a dark look on his face when he saw Emily's actions, but it immediately disappeared just like how fast it appeared .

Ashton looked at Leo for a couple of seconds, which resulted in a bit of awkwardness between the two groups, before Ashton turned his attention back to Derek .

"So Derek, did you guys come here for another trade?" Derek said .

Derek then looked at Leo and then back at Ashton, and said, "Yes and at the same time, Leo here, wanted to see you, so we brought him here with us"

Leo just walked towards Ashton without saying anything, stood before him and said, "Pity, I would have wanted you to join me"

Ashton suddenly narrowed his eyes and thought that this person before him is too arrogant, and not even showing a bit of respect in front of him .

"The heck are you? If you-"

*BANG!*

Ashton didn't finish what he was about to say, when a huge hand covered his face and slammed on the nearby wall .

"You're head is tough, i guess" Leo said, as he felt a bit surprised that Ashton's head didn't immediately burst to pieces, and so he slammed him two more times .

*BANG!* *BANG!* 

And Ashton in the other hand, felt his head spinning and the people around them just watched the scene in front of them with stunned faces, and only when Ashton's body fell limp on the ground did they react .

"Stop! What the heck did you do!?"

"You b.a.s.t.a.r.d!"

"Kill him! He killed the leader!"

"s.h.i.+t!" Derek cursed as he didn't expect Leo to actually kill Ashton, even his companions started cursing when they finally realized what the heck happened, especially now that we're slowly getting surrounded by the fighters of this survivor camp .

"Prepare to fight!" Ariel yelled as he pulled out his spiked metal bat .

"You guys are surrounded! If you don't want to die, then throw down your weapons and await your punishment! Especially you, you b.a.s.t.a.r.d!" said a bald man, while pointing an improvised pistol in his hand .

"Stop! We can talk about this!" Derek yelled at both Leo and the bald man, but his voice fell on deaf ears, as both parties ignored him, while he and his group fend off the attacks of the others .

And on the other hand, Leo wasn't the least bit bothered about them, and what he did next, shock the others that they even felt that the logic of this world has gone haywire .

Leo slowly walked towards this group of biker gangs, as a huge sword slowly appeared on his right hand, while saying the words…

"Don't worry, it would be your turn soon" Leo grinned .

"Stop!" the bald man screamed, his voice containing a hint of fear, and so out of here, he pulled the trigger multiple times .

*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*

*Clang!* *Clang!* *Clang!*

When they expected Leo to be shot down, they were shocked to see that he actually deflected the bullets using his sword and that they didn't even see how he did it with how fast his actions are .

"The f*ck" Derek cursed in surprised as he punched a guy in his chin, knocking the guy out .

"My turn~" Leo grinned like an evil, sending a s.h.i.+ver down the spine of the people who saw it as he dashed towards them, and in over a second, he already halved the distance between them .

"Hiii~!" Ashton's remaining trusted "subordinates" screamed in fear, as all of them shot at Leo in madness .

*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*

But their attacks were in vain, as Leo just deflected all of them, and within that time frame, Leo already arrived before them with his sword above him, ready to hack them down .

And Derek's group and the other group who were fighting with each other earlier stopped and all of them just watched with dumbstruck looks on their faces .

"W-wait! You can guys leave! We don't really care about that b.a.s.t.a.r.d! Just leave and spare us!" one of them tried to negotiate when they finally realized how monstrous their opponents truly is .

"Too late" Leo uttered as a cold flicker flash past his eyes, as his sword came down cras.h.i.+ng towards them!

"Pwease! Schtop!"

Just when Leo was about to hack them to death, a childish voice of a child sounded, immediately halting Leo's sword in a screeching halt of the wind, just stopping a hair breath away from the bald man's neck .

The force behind the attack was so powerful that it created a powerful gust of wind that disperse at every direction, violently ruffling their clothes and hair .

"Hiii~!"

The bald man looked down from the corner of his eyes at the sword that stopped just a hair away from his neck, and he shrieked in fear, and then his eyes rolled back as he fell backwards, unconscious while foaming on his mouth as his companions immediately ran towards him, while shaking in their boots .

Leo pulled back his sword towards him and put it over his shoulder, and scanned the crowd around him .

"T-too powerful" Derek said trembling, as he didn't expect this man who was with them is actually this monstrous .

"He's actually more powerful than I imagined" Ariel gulped down in excitement as his body trembled, from either fear or excitement .

"He's so hot" Emily muttered as she looked at Leo with s.h.i.+ning eyes, and the other two women in their group was also thinking the same thing .

"But can somebody tell how the heck did that sword just suddenly appeared from out of nowhere?" one of them quipped from the side, as that person was confused of how the heck did that sword appeared from out of nowhere .

As Leo scanned the crowd, he noticed a girl with blonde ponytail hair, probably around five or six years old running towards their direction with tears and snot on her face, as she stumbled on the ground, but she immediately picked herself up and ran towards the unconscious bald man, followed by a woman, probably her mother .

"Don't hurt them, y-you badie!" the child said angrily, and the woman in panic immediately covered her mouth with her hand .

"Please don't mind what the child said" the fearfully said .

After that, the atmosphere became a bit awkward, so Leo turned towards the survivors living in this camp and asked, "Are these four people here good people or . . . are they the same as that guy Ashton?"

The survivors started looking at each other, and no one stepped out to talk, but it was Derek who instead slowly walked over beside him and whispered, "Yes, the three are good, but do you see that guy over there, at the very back?"

Derek gestured with his eyes, so Leo looked over and saw a skinny white man with tattoos all over his arms, looking at him with fear and hate in his eyes .

"Hmm . . . I see" Leo replied in a low voice, then turned his head at the little girl glaring angrily at him .

Then Leo walked towards the little girl, making the adults around her, take a step back in fear .

"What's your name little girlie?" Leo bent down so they could see eye to eye .

The little girl crossed her arms, as her turned sideways as she snorted in disdain .

And Leo on the other hand, had his face and fingers twitching as he was suddenly reminded of someone, and so he just stood up and ignored her, but he made sure to glare at the man Derek pointed earlier and at the same time, he reminded himself to ask the survivors living here if what Derek said is true or he just wants him to kill the man because of a personal grudge, and because Leo don't like being treated as a borrowed knife .

Leo then had Ariel lead the way to where their main house is, as the people just watch them and made a path before them .

"Why did you stop?" Emily walked over to his side and whispered .

Leo looked at her and said coldly, "I don't like to kill someone in front of a child"

Emily s.h.i.+vered when she saw his eyes, because she was familiar with those eyes . It was the of a killer, but at the same time, she could also see a tinge of warmth within those ice cold eyes .

'Maybe that's why he stopped when he heard the voice of that child' Emily thought, as her fear of him that just started budding, immediately withered away .

And what she thought was right, it was because even though Leo had already accustomed to the life in the Apocalypse, that taking someone's life would be unavoidable, and this is why there rules that Leo follows, and those are to kill those who rapes, who murders for no reason or just for entertainment, and the last one would be those backstabbing a.s.sholes .

Leo knows that the current era of the world is already cruel enough, but he at least wanted to not let the kids see that cruel side of this place, and with those reasons, he made sure that those kids back at the bases are sent to study to avoid seeing the cruel side of this world, and was instead taught that the true enemy of mankind are the zombies and some mutated beasts that are hostile to humans .

A couple of seconds later, they arrived in front of the mansion where Ashton and his lackeys lived before .

The inside of the house was a bit of a mess, and Leo started looking through the rooms, and one particular room he stumbled upon was a room of ten attractive women of different ages, with the youngest probably around 18 or 19 years old and the oldest being around late thirties or early forties, and all of them are dressed in see through nightgowns, some of them had bruises on their faces, arms or legs, and two of them are even pregnant .

"Leo, what do -Kyaa!" Emily came over and was about to say something to him, but then she yelled in shock when she saw the women inside the room huddled up in corner, fearfully looking at them .

Emily glanced at Leo from the corner of her eyes, and saw a dark look on his face, and she slowly felt that the atmosphere around them getting heavier, that Derek and the rest who were hurrying over to them from the first floor immediately halted in their tracks as they certainly felt that dangerous aura oozing out of Leo .

"Leo, uhh . . Why don't you let me handle this?" Emily mustered up her courage and poked Leo's waist as she said those words .

Leo snapped out of it, the moment he heard her, that the only words that came out of his mouth was, "Alright" before walking away from that room .

Emily, Derek and the rest all sighed in relief as they recently just learned that Leo is pretty hot headed guy .

So Leo went back to the first floor and laid down on a huge sofa, and then turned towards a woman named Charsi, and said, "I'm gonna take a nap" and so he went to sleep, with his sword leaning against the sofa .

And Emily on the other hand, had shared the good news to the girls about Ashton dying, which made the girls burst into cheers and happiness as they started hugging each other .

And Leo is sleeping on the sofa, opened one of his eyes and looked towards the direction of the room before closing it again .

While Leo slept, the survivor camp became a mess without a leader as no one had the motivation to work after what happened, and those four gangsters didn't dare to do anything as they just watch from the side .

And so without any choice, Derek temporarily took up the role of running the place with the help of his crew as Leo didn't leave them any instruction before he went to sleep .

So he made sure that the survivors gets back to their duties like before, and then they locked up the four gangster even with the child protesting against it, as they just ignored her .

And the ten women who were treated as s.e.x slaves were finally from their confinement, as Emily offered them some ligh food, and had them rest for a bit . After all, they were clearly mistreated, as some of them were skinny, that their body size are like those skinny runway models for fas.h.i.+on magazine .

"Say, except for Ashton, did those four lackeys of his mistreat you guys?" Emily suddenly said after watching them eat .

The girls looked at each other, and then the oldest of them answered in their stead and said hatefully, "No, no one other than Ashton is allowed inside, except for that b.a.s.t.a.r.d Eric who also force himself to us without Ashton's knowledge"

"Then why didn't you tell Ashton about it?" Emily asked her .

The woman just laughed bitterly and said, "We did, but he didn't believe us, after all, we're just his s.e.x slaves and Eric is his right hand man . Why are you asking about it anyway?"

Emily smiled and said, "Was just curious about it" but then she continued, "but what about the other three?"

The woman looked deeply at her, before saying, "I can't say that they are good people, but they at least help us by sneaking in food and water to us without Ashton's knowledge"

"Wait . . if Ashton is dead, does that mean they also died? It would be a bid sad though, as they aren't really that bad, because as far as we know, they haven't force or mistreated anyone before . Of course, that was just from our observation when we're given the chance to go out from this prison like room"

"Right"

"Yep"

Her other companions immediately agreed with her .

Emily then stood up, and said to them, "That's great then . . . so why don't guys rest up first and . . . then you can go out whenever you feel like it"

And then she left, as she headed downstairs as she wanted to tell Leo about what she just found out .

The women looked at each other .

"Why did you think she was asking about those things?" one of them said while drinking milk from a carton .

"It's probably related to those four" one of the women who realized what it was about said confidently .

"What Eva said is right, after all, Emily did say they are still alive and probably waiting for the judgement from the person who killed Ashton" the woman who was talking to Emily earlier said .

"Never about them, we're finally free sisters! So rest up, and we'll celebrate our freedom and Ashton's death outside!" the woman yelled happily as she raised her hands in the air .
