"Viv makes very good eggs especially poached eggs, they are perfect. You are good cook. He must have learned to make them from you. Though he doesn't like them. What does he like to eat?" wanting to inquire about his favourite food.

Tara said "Eggs? Viv made eggs! He has extreme egg allergy. We never made eggs at home."

Ira was so ashamed and embarra.s.sed that she didn't ask any further. It was in reality a 4 year marriage and she didn't knew of her husband's allergies.

"You idiot! What if they did? I would have added normally except I knew yesterday that you have egg allergy

How can you eat just like that?" Ira was angry for his carelessness and her ignorance.

"Because it was made by you. Served to me, for first time. I would have only tasted it" Viv answered honestly.

Ira embarra.s.singly lost the eye contact and filled a platter of m.u.f.fins, kept in front of Viv

"Eat" she said softly.

Normally he doesn't eat any desserts. Most contain eggs and he didn't took a risk. He had long forgotten

What they tasted like...

Amazed by the taste, he obediently emptied the platter.

Ira, looking forward to his reviews got silence. He was just absorbed eating.

"How was it?" Ira asked.

"Its best thing I have ever tasted." Viv said.

"Really?" Ira said.

He took her outstretched hand and turned the palm downwards gently by the fingertips, bowing his head kissed it "Really, the sweetest thing. Made by these lovely hands."

Viv was amazed.
