Tang Mo’er wore a pink maxi dress and went downstairs. “Silver Mask King, it’s late now, why did you bring so many people with you to look for me at the West Palace? What exactly is the matter?”

The corners of Xuan Ying’s lips kicked up into a wry smile. “Miss Tang, my female slave has gone missing and the last person she contacted was you. Now I’ll have to ask you over so that I can find my slave!”

Tang Mo’er knitted her brows. “Silver Mask King, are you referring to… Feng Lingxue?”

“Yes.”

Tang Mo’er raised her brows, her l.u.s.trous eyes on Xuan Ying’s face. “Silver Mask King, you claimed that she’s just your slave. Since she’s just a slave, why are you so anxious about her disappearance?”

Xuan Ying felt as though his heart had been stung by a bee. With clouded eyes, he glanced at his a.s.sistant, Ah Zhou.

Ah Zhou nodded, taking a step in front. “Miss Tang, this way please.”

Ah Zhou stretched out his arm to grasp Tang Mo’er’s slender arm.

Tang Mo’er wanted to avoid him, but before she even moved, a large hand appeared with the speed of lightning and grasped Ah Zhou’s wrist.

Ah Zhou had been with Xuan Ying all these years and was well-trained in martial arts and once someone grasped his wrist, he tried to break free.

“West Duke, I was merely planning to ask Miss Tang over to the Snow Mountain Residence tonight. I don’t have any ill intentions, I still hope that Miss Tang will come with me,” Xuan Ying said.

The corners of Lu Yeming’s lips raised into a spurious smile. He was somewhat sarcastic as he said, “Silver Mask King, what if I don’t agree to it?”

Xuan Ying pursed his lips, exuding a cold and menacing aura.

The atmosphere instantly tensed up. If the two men were to fight, it would definitely cause catastrophic damage.
