They Said My Status Stayed The Same Even Though I Reincarnated In Another World!? Chapter 49-52

Chapter 49: Reunion with Onee-sama Okay, going to start and do my staple. The cheat sheet on the top, it will eventually grow to include new characters and appearances. Fari von D'azell . Previously Nanjou Yukiho, nicknamed Yuki by Kami.  Is currently 10 years of age. Ruby red long wavy hair and striking gold eyes not fitting her age. Kami-sama, or also known as Kamille. Is a girl that looks 12 but is a G.o.d. Has silver hair and red eyes. Also Fari always uses, 私 aka the female p.r.o.noun watas.h.i.+. Father is Gilbert Von D'azell. Master warrior. Rigurett Beuze Crausus or simply Rig: Long blond silky hair, blue eyes. Uses 2 bayonet guns, and is really good at magic, four attribute magic. She actually speaks polite and proper, but that's hard to translate. They are students of St. Valeria's Royal Hunter's Academy. Also Lilina is a magic's teacher. After that settled down. Rig and I got dressed for my long awaited visit with a certain someone.

My older sister- – -also known as Quella Von D'azell. 

Quella Onee-sama is just like me. She has entered the Hunter Academy and is in fact already living in the dormitory.

So it's natural for me to go give her a visit.

Well, actually I've wanted to see her ever since I got here.

I'm actually really close to my Onee-sama.

When it was decided that my Onee-sama was going to the hunter Academy alone, I hated it.

However now I'll get to attend the school with her!

School life with my Onee-sama will be so fun!

Kami-sama, Rig and I looked towards the contact board and found where my sister's room is.

We then quickly went there.

Once we got to the room, I instantly started to knock on her door.

I could hear footsteps on the other side.

"- – -Yes, who is it?"

I could hear a familiar nostalgic voice reverberate through the door.

And then, the door opened- – – –

"Eh?. . .Fari?"

"Onee-sama!"

I instantly jumped into my Onee-sama. 

"I wanted to see you so much Onee-sama!"

"I missed you too. But,why are you at the hunter's Academy?"

"That's. . .A long story."

"Is that so. Well, why don't we talk over breakfast in the dining hall?"

"I'm happy wherever I go as long ,as I'm with my Onee-sama."

"Haha, Fari. The same as usual. . .Who are you two?"

My Onee-sama then looked at Rig and Kami-sama.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Rigurett."

"I am Kamille. I am Yukii. . .I mean Fari's friend? Sorta?"

"I see. That's wonderful Fari. You made two friends."

My sister than stroke my head. I could feel my face getting red. It's been so long since I've felt this.

I then saw Rig enviously looking at us.

Please calm down Rig. I'll let you pet my head as much as you want when we get back to our room.

Chapter 50: Vampires and Magic.

The four of us went to the cafeteria.

There weren't too many people here because it was still early in the morning.

"Well then, I should properly introduce myself."

(TN: By the way, Quella is using "Boku 僕" to refer to herself. Which is much more masculine, but can be gender neutral. However it does lean into the masculine column much more. Also, Fari uses the female Watas.h.i.+.)

Then she gave her greetings.

"My name is Quella Von D'azell. I am the eldest daughter of the viscount D'azell, but for now I am hiding my true ident.i.ty. So I'm simply going by Quella in school."

"Onee-sama!? Is that really okay to say that?"

"I don't think it's a good idea to keep it a secret from Rigurett-sama. Besides, Fari has already let the fact of our family leak. "

Bulls eyes. She knows 

. . .? Also, Rigurett-"sama"?

I was going to ask my sister why she added that honorific to Rig, but then Rig spoke out before I could.

"Um, Excuse me Quellsan. Are you two really sisters?"

"Hmm? Ohh- Your talking about "these" right? It's a bit of a longer story, so is that alright."

When she said "these". . . my Onee-sama pointed to the top of her head.

My Onee-sama is a daughter of the D'azell family, however her hair is not red, but glittering silver. And her iris are ruby red.

So it pretty unlikely by appearance you'd think we were blood related sisters.

And- – -it doesn't end there.

My older sister also has "horns" and "fangs"

Her two small horns, about the size of a thumb, on her head.

And in her mouth she has two fangs where humans have theirs. – – – -Although they are twice as long as humans.

However I have no doubt we share familiar blood.

"To put it simply. I have vampire and demon blood in me. So I'm a mixed of those sub-races. . . .Does that perhaps offend you?"

"No, No. I don't have a prejudice against the sub-races. However. . .Quella is mixed blood, then is perhaps Fari also?"

"No, that's not the case. . .Well, to be precise. Kinda, maybe?"

Rig tilted her head in confusion because of my Onee-sama's response.

"It's because of the dark past of the D'azell family. Long ago when the D'azell was more of a minor house. In a l.u.s.t for more power, the D'azell family members seek out strong sub-races, and looked to add them into the D'azell lineage."

The dark story my Onee-sama is explaining, is an almost unknown secret outside of the D'azell family.

"Many of our ancestors repeatedly mated with various sub-races in order to get stronger children. Choosing the strongest ones in each generation. In their attempt obtain all of their blood and strength from the races. Ever since they've done that in the past, the D'azell family has often demonstrated superior abilities, leading to an increase in their prestige. . .However that inhumane practice didn't come with no downsides. Sometimes the children would be born with a deeper connection the sub-race's blood."

"So you are a case of that happening, Quellsan?"

After listening to the story, Rig asked that.

My Onee-sama nodded in response.

"That is right. Although it seems like something like this hasn't happened in a few hundred years, but eventually, a heretic like me was born. Because of my appearance, even though I am the eldest daughter, I have never been allowed to go out into the social world as the heir of the estate. So I was kept a secret until I turned 16. Until this year, my father finally gave me the order to live as simply Quella and enter the Hunter's Academy."

My Onee-sama laid it all out.

My Onee-sama is a very sincere person, but I feel like she is being a little bit too honest.

"Do you understand? Rigurett-sama, Daughter of the Archduke Crausus House."

"Huh. Well knowing this, I don't doubt you anymore. Since we will be going to the same school, let's be friends."

Onee-sama and Rig then shook hands.

Also- – -Arch duke Crausus?!?!

Chapter 51: Friends with Daughter of an Arch Duke.

"Um, Onee-sama!"

Because I was worried about the last thing she said, I interrupted their conversation.

"Hmm, What's wrong Fari?"

"Um, you said Rig was the daughter of the Arch Duke?. . ."

"That's right. Rigurett-sama is the daughter of the Crausus Family, which has the position of Arch Duke."

"Whatt!?!?"

I unintentionally loudly said that.

Although there weren't a lot of people in the cafeteria, I attracted everybody who was there with my loud outburst.

My face went red as I shrunk into my chair.

". . .But um, Onee-sama. I thought that the Archduke was only surpa.s.sed by the royals themselves? They are the tops of all aristocrats, right?"

"Oh, I thought Fari was bad when it came to the aristocratic society, but maybe not. . .however you are a little wrong. The archdukes actually has royal blood in them."

"F-from the royal family?"

"That's right. The Arch Duke of Crausus is actually a pretty new position, it was made about 80 years ago, so the blood of the fine Royal Family is still very deep within them. So to simply put it, Rigurett-sama is also a member of the Royal Family. She actually has a claim to the throne."

I couldn't say a thing, my mind was overwhelmed. I simply stood there with eyes wide open and mouth in an O.

". . .That seems to be quite a shock for you."

My Onee-sama said with a bitter smile.

"Anyways, Quellsan. How did you know I was the daughter of the Grand Duke?"

When Rig asked that, my Onee-sama simply smiled.

"I can't show up in the social world, but I am still a n.o.ble. I remembered all the names and faces of all the powerful houses, including their children. . .In fact, in order to attend Hunter's Academy there are "conditions" that I must follow that may involve Rigurett-sama."

"Me?"

"Yes, it was to be a secret bodyguard. . . well it was supposed to be secret, but I feel like it's harmless to tell you."

This the first time I ever heard about that happening to Onee-sama. The more she talks the more I'm dumbfounded.

"I see. . .but you saying that is really helpful."

"Perhaps. . .However I just feel like it's not healthy to keep it all inside, and worry about it letting it leak everyday."

"Fufufu. You are an interesting person Quellsan. Even if you weren't Fari's older sister, I still feel like we could be friends."

"It's a pleasure to hear that."

Onee-sama gave a bow to Rig.

Perhaps I shouldn't act too friendly to the daughter of the Arch Duke, but that is Rig.

Also I think she prefers casual att.i.tude. It's easier to interact with. And I rather see her have an enjoyable face, than a serious one.

"However- – -It's not fair for only Quellsan to tell her secret. I think it may be better if we are honest as well."

Rig said that unexpected thing, then held my hand.

"Fari. Is it alright to let her know?"

"Uh, Eh!? Yeah! If Rig wants to, then I'll do anything!"

"Fufu. My little sister really is attached to you, isn't she?"

My older sister laughed in response to our exchange.

". . .By the way. Who is the white haired girl?"

Onee-sama asked while looking at Kami-sama.

. . .I forgot about her.

Chapter 52: Kami-sama and Quella.

"Oh. Well then let me introduce myself. My name is Kamille. I'm Yukii's normal friend?"

"Yukii?"

"Oh, that's my nickname. She likes to call me that, but I don't mind it."

I immediately followed up as my Onee-sama tilted her head.

"So you are Fari's friend."

"Y-Yes, that's right."

"And you are not human?"

I jumped in surprise. 

My Onee-sama has sharp eyes.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. But I have something like a "vampire eye". So I can clearly see that you are different from normal humans. It's more of a sensation, however I can't read the details like search does."

Oh I remember.

My Onee-sama has had a good eye for a long time.

There was once a time my Onee-sama instantly saw a monster that snuck into our residence.

. . . Well, what do I do now? I can't lie now.

"Well you can rest a.s.sured Quellchan. I am something like Yukii's guardian spirit."

"Guardian spirit? Huh. . .That's interesting. However you seem different from a ghost."

"Yeah I'm different from that. But I have been watching over Yukii for 10 years so far. If you have a good eye, then perhaps you've already seen it. See if this feel familiar."

After saying that, Kami-sama pulled out her hands and created a magic light.

However it's a different force from magical energy.

"- – -Ahh, I remember. Was it when Fari was kicked 10 meters away by a horse?"

"Yes, that's it~"

"That was a thing!?!?"

I raised a surprise voice once I heard that.

"At that time, there was a mysterious power that became visible to me. I understood that it was thanks to that power that Fari was saved from any injury."

"Oh, that's right. Well~ it was hilarious seeing Fari bopped into the air by that horse."

"Well, I didn't think it was funny at the time. But thinking back on it does make me laugh."

"Onee-sama!?"

"Now now. Anyways. . .Kamille-san? It seems that you've been keeping Fari safe. Thank you."

"No no, don't worry about it~ It's kinda my hobby. So don't feel grateful."

My Onee-sama thanked Kami-sama.

. . .It seems like Kami-sama really has been protecting me.

". . . .Um, thank you. Kami-sama."

I'll just be honest and give my thanks.

"Oh- Is Yukii perhaps love struck (Dere)? As I thought, love truck Yukii is so cute. Is it alright if I take a picture?"

As she said that, she pulled out some strange device from her storage.

. . .Oh! That's a digital camera. I remember that from my past life!

I can't let her do that!

"No you can not! Also what is that!?"

"Oh this is a miraculous device I've been using to record Yukii's growth."

"Guu. . ."

It's impossible for me to say that's a digital camera.

She is taking advantage of my weakness. My weakness of not being able to talk about things I know from my past life.

"It seems that you and Fari are good friends."

"That's not true!"

My Onee-sama is misunderstanding!

Here is a bit of a longer one for the Onee-sama introduction and exposition. Also I have some depressing news, at least for me. 

So I was going to start translating a chapter of "when I became" aka the twin sister thingy. But the chapters have decayed from the good cache thingy. I can no longer view them. I'm also to blame because I should've downloaded the offline pages. ? . 

I should've been more proactive. But I can't do anything about that now. But Thanks to Lonneu, all of the chapters are stored in a doc file. However, I've been having a really hard time decompressing them. Whenever I extract them my extension for helping me look up words definition doesn't work, or it is simply copied wrong and it's just a crunch up mess. That either messes up the grammar, or is a wall of text.

 I'm not that capable with j.a.panese, at least yet. I don't have the confidence or actually ability to completely go by the doc files alone. However they are up on the homepage if anybody wants to give them a try. I don't know, maybe I'll find a work around that helps copy and paste, and have all the s.p.a.cing fixed.

Also i lowered the size of that context holder thingy on the top of the chapters. It's just to lower the amount of needing to scroll down. Let me know if it actually is too long, so maybe I should just put it on the bottom after the TN notes.

Anyways, it's a bit depressing. But I can't do much. So anyways, next chapter is in 3-5 days. Maybe I'll give looking for a way to get those chapters working, but I don't have a good feeling about it. But I'll be working on the next chapters for this novel. These chapters are really simple and short, especially compared to "when I was".
